Lehmke Funeral Home took care of all the arrangements for my father recently and did a beautiful job. They were very caring and thought of every detail, even things I had not considered. By being there for me, and my family, it allowed me to be there for my family and not worry about the details. I had to make most of the arrangements from out of town and they made it so easy.

They were very helpful and accommodated to the needs/wants that my family voiced. I knew that Mike and Tina would take great care of him, and that they did. Losing someone close to you is never something easy to go through. Mike and Tina went above and beyond to help my family honor my Mother. Worst experience ever! The staff was rude and when they don't want to deal with you, instead of saying so, they lie and yank your feelings around during an already traumatic time in your life. A woman told me she would call me with a time for me to see my brother before cremation. She never intended to, and when I finally called them back wondering where my call for a time was, they told me he was already at cremation. Obviously I was upset. As if being yanked around like that wasn't bad enough, the man in charge didn't want to admit his staff lied to me and instead told me my conversation with his staff never happened. Talk about trauma. That was unethical and uncalled for. This thing made me give you one star to post this but it should be ZERO stars for a funeral home that advertises respect but has none. I'm traumatized by this experience, and I don't just mean the loose way we often use that word. Please send your loved ones to Pape. In response to your response, I understand you had to do what the next of kin said but the law didn't tell you to say you'd call me with a time to see him when you never intended to. The law didn't say the boss should lie and say that conversation never happened. That was not you upholding the law; that was you being disrespectful and unprofessional. Your apology is not sincere; it's just something for your viewers to see.
