ILLEGAL PRACTICES!!! My grandfather was buried by them and when we had to make arrangements they had a guy who is not a licensed funeral director make the arrangements. I found out just recently that this is illegal and asked around and found that I am not the only one. the guy was nice enough but seemed confused at points. also we recently had another family member pass away and after doing some research we found out that Showalters is the most expensive in town now that they are owned by a big corporation. My grandparents used to swear by this funeral home years ago when the original owners were still there, but now they are just another big business that only cares about money and will cut corners to get there.

I've maintained frequent communicarion with Joel and Kayla as have the attorney and insurance agent involved with our situation. They were aware that there is money to pay them. They will be the first to be paid. We are waiting on a judge in probate court out of state to sign off so we may move forward. I've called and stopped in several times just to keep it in touch. They turned this account over for collections. This isnt going to make it move faster. I would go some place else for future services and would reccomend that anyone considering them to look elsewhere also.
