We encountered Shirley Brothers by accident. My husband passed away sudden and very unexpected. It was a police officer that told me there was a funeral home on Thompson and LaSalle. It was not the original funeral home that we had my husband sent to. My family set up a meeting and met Mr. Alan Dunbar. This kind, honest, compassionate, wonderful, and professional human being made light in our darkness. He went out of his way to ensure that my family was his priority during this tragic time. He has recently still gone out of his way to help us. Not many people do that in this world anymore. Business or not Mr. Alan Dunbar is a ray of sunshine and we feel honored to have met him. Shirley brothers as a business should be honored to have him. Shirley brothers is a clean, caring, and wonderfully staffed business. We have nothing but positive thoughts about this company and their staff!!
