I would like to start off by saying I have been to other family's funeral services at frain mortuary and it seemed to be a professional and caring group of people. Of course I didn't see what the family's had to deal with when it came to dealing with the employees and owner of frain mortuary. But, now that I have seen first hand how they treat the family of the deceased I am shocked they are still in business. They were very rarely nice to most of us. Also, there seemed to be unorganized and unprofessional at best. For instance, they messed up the order of the precession and when I had stated the order was wrong, the answer I got was "Well, it's a little late now" and he simply walked away. Now, I know that it doesn't matter all that much about the order in which we drove. But, the attitude I received was unacceptable to say the least. This is one instance among many that we had to deal with. The first time we walked into the funeral home we were greeted by the owner. The first words out if his mouth were "You can't bring drinks into my chapel. You'll have to leave them in another room". It was very rude and honestly unnecessary the way he approached us. He didn't even say hello first. So to say the least, I personally am very disappointed in frain mortuary and the way they handled my grandfathers services. My grandfather served 22 years in the Air Force. He flew for a four star General. So, as you can imagine, he strived for excellence and nothing short of it. I just wish they would have gave as much effort to their jobs as my grandfather did his. Thank you for reading this and I hope this can help other families when it is their time to honor their late family members. Whomever they might be.
