My mother passed in Feb 2019 and I came from out of state to be with her in the end and make all arrangements and such. I hired Downard for services and was happy until the last detail. The Death Certificate never came to my house. Lance told me it could take a couple weeks. I waited and waited. It has now been over three months and no Certificate, he known I really needed it for legal purposes and registering her car that I paid off. I called him and texted and he was not as readily available. I felt like I was pestering him as I had to call several times. My intuition says that he was being dishonest with me about it. He was paid in full and I am still without a Death Certificate from them. Overall I was happy in the beginning but really surprised the way he stopped caring about my account and what I paid for.

In April of 2015, my father passed away. Downard handled the services along with the cremation. Most were buried in the Pocatello Cemetery, the rest were to be sent to Alaska to my father's brother. I even purchases a very nice, very expensive box for them to be sent in. After the service, Lance said he would take care of sending the box to my uncle in Alaska. It was recently brought to my attention that my uncle never received the box of my father's ashes. Both my family and I have called multiple times and have yet to receive a call back about this issue. On top of all of this, as part of the services we paid for, Lance said he would do other things for our family to help with this process like contact insurance companies. etc. He never did any of this either. I am more than upset with the service our family received, and even more upset knowing that my father's ashes may be lost somewhere.
