Death is never expected and when it happens in your family it’s a hard thing to deal with. Having said that, Jake and Michelle made this time for our family much easier. They listened to what we wanted, didn’t push us to buy extras or things we didn’t want, and they treated us with dignity and respect from the very first call to our last interaction. They were caring and had empathy for my family. I would definitely recommend them!

I would like to thank and praise each member of Cloverdale Cemetery for their professionalism, concern and care they show for the deceased and their family. Prior to my mother's burial I visited the cemetery to check the plot and was amazed at the reverence and professionalism of those who open and close the plot. If I would not have known better I would have thought that they were preparing the plot for one of their family members. As my sister and I met with Wes to finalize the plans for the funeral once again we were shown the care that keeps bringing us back as a family member passes. There is no other Cemetery that we would even consider switching. Thank you to the staff Cloverdale Cemetery.

Never before have I been treated so poorly as I was by the cemetery grounds staff today. Jake I think his name was. Will remember todays funeral now for all the wrong reasons. Followup- Cheryl while a I appreciate you reaching back out, I really have no desire to speak with anyone at your facility again after the other day. This was my first experience with any funeral home and Cloverdale funeral home was my first pick for some reason because there is a special light about the whole place and staff. This really mattered to me as I believe in Jesus Christ and I want the place I visit often to reflect a heavily picturesque. That place my friends is Cloverdale funeral home! These two gentlemen were everything a mourning family like ours needed during this very tragic and sad time. A very special thanks goes out to Jake Garn the funeral director! His sincerity in the process helped heal my family in a time that was the most devastating and his kindness, patience and empathy made my family and I feel so secure that our loved one would be safe throughout the different transitions in his watch. Jake’s reliable communication throughout the transitions and processes put our hearts at ease and I highly recommend Jake Garn as your funeral director! Especially in a time a family is greiving and mourning the last thing you want to be is stressed! We were anything but stressed and financially they worked with our family to get a more than fair price! What a blessing! I worked as a volunteer with the Cloverdale Staff for five months in 2014 to bring the Vietnam Veteran's Traveling Wall to Meridian/Boise. I can tell you that the staff there was professional, hardworking, honest and committed. While I don't have any experience with them for funerals, I can say that I'm their biggest fan and I'm sure they do everything well!

After my brother in law passed away, I called several places and could not believe how much everything was now a days compared to the past. I called and spoke to Vickie Roper, she had discussed the pricing. I talked to her for awhile and she was SO VERY HELPFUL. I ended up calling the hospital and changed who I was going to care for my BIL. However, once I saw some teenagers racing in minikarts, doing laps along the paved paths. It was pretty disrespectful and weird, but hopefully that was a one time issue.

Didn't love the place because of the circumstances of why we were there. But Brian and the rest of the staff there were very kind and helpful. They did a good job with everything and helping us thru the funeral process. During the winter there is reindeer and the tree by my sister's grave grows apples. There is a beautiful grave by the other side of the cemetery where a little girl (whose mommy misses her a whole lot especially during the holidays) is buried. Her mom always takes a lot of care in decorating the headstone. Grief is a long walk down a very cold hallway.

My mother passed away suddenly earlier this month. Much of our family lives in Boise but my sister and I live out of state. The devastation of losing her was for sure the most painful experience we've faced to date. We desperately wanted to see our mom one last time, it happened on a Friday, we live about 7 hours away but thankfully, we were fortunate enough to be able to do so that Sunday. He was phenomenal. During the hardest time of my life, he exhibited a level of calmness, professionalism, confidence, support, compassion, kindness and guidance, bar none to my sister and I as well as our entire family.
