I was there this past weekend for my cousin service and I was greeted by a warm smile I believe his name was Fredrick. He was very professional and even while I was overcome with emotion he was such a sweetheart.

I felt deceived by the owner's brother during my transaction and have witnesses to prove so, during a sad time of my life. Nevertheless, they did bury my husband.

HORRIBLE! The place was burning up! They had no Ac nor were the microphones working well for the singer or the speakers. It was so hot people stood outside b/c it was cooler. We complained and they did nothing. Bad enough my friend was grieving the loss of her only son but she also had to be uncomfortable in 90% heat. Meanwhile, the staff sat in a room with AC waiting for the service to end. Never, will this place ever get my money or my loved one! They should be ashamed of themselves.

If you're looking for a Wal-Mart style Funeral Factory this is the place for you! However if you are looking for people to show some empathy during a difficult time in your life find another place to handle your loved ones service. Had they not embalmed my wife's body before I finalized the arrangements I would have had her moved elsewhere before the service. Finalizing the service with Jermaine Williams felt more like I was negotiating a car deal than making final arrangements for my wife! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I hate to say this because this is a black own business however I encountered the worst service from beginning to end. Matter of fact I'm still dealing with them weeks after the burial. I'm so sorry to say, I will not refer anyone to this funeral home. They were so confused and unorganized. Dealing with them was exhausting and worst than dealing with the death of my love one.

SAD to say, this Funeral home did not follow through on their promise. Director Jermaine has no integrity. When funeral homes take advantage of mourning families it’s a double loss.

I will start by saying this black owned business provided exceptional service to our family during the time of our family loss of Janika Williams-Gardner. Upon our arrival at the funeral home to visit Sylvania Watkins for our scheduled appointment, we were greeted with the utmost sympathy and heartfelt condolences by the entire staff. After Mr. Sylvania Watkins professionally and thoroughly explained/handled the entire process from inception to completion of the funeral arrangements, the owner Mr. Willie Watkins came in and greeted our family and extended his condolences. With him having 5 locations, Mr. Willie Watkins took out the time to greet us during our meeting. With having to arrange shipping of the body from another state it was handled with dignity and care by Willie Watkins Funeral Home. Mr. Sylvania Watkins and the entire staff remained available and attentive to our needs during this tragic time. Mr. Willie Watkins attended the funeral and participated in the crowning ceremony. We were unaware of this and it was unexpected. From the funeral arrangements, to crowning ceremony, Mercedes Sprinter limousine service, burial, and dove release and repast was 5 star! The Willie Watkins Funeral Home Inc has exceeded the expectations of the family of Ms. Janika Williams-Gardner. We appreciate the excellent service and gratitude!! Humbly Submitted, Ezekeil Obasi

I really wish i could rate this place a zero. I had such a disappointing experience with this location. My first issue started when I called and spoke with CeCe, I advised I was out of town and everything needed to be discussed with family regarding my deceased brother's service. She kept pushing me to authorize them to get him from the ME's office before i even had cost and full details. I spoke with Jermaine and he gave both me and my aunt one price when i got the location it was $300 more. When my parents and I got to the location Jermaine continued to call my mother by the incorrect name which is disrespectful and shows he does not pay attentions to details. We had to give details all over again when we got there despite giving everything to CeCe the day before, again not paying to details. We had an opportunity to see my brother before he was cremated, luckily i went in before my mother as I had to tell them to wipe the blood off his face and cover..lets say " exposed examination areas of his body". If you are going to allow family members to see their loved one at least make it presentable, to prevent traumatizing them even more. They don't need to be dressed and complete "made up" but seeing areas where he was examined should be visible AT ALL. Also, please make yourself well aware of who you are meeting with before the families get there, having my mother continuously being called by the wrong name during the WHOLE visit is unacceptable and disrespectful, families are seeing you during a painful time, keep in mind what other emotions you are stirring up with you don't pay attention to details. I absolute wish I went elsewhere, I paid way too much money for the service i received.

Funeral Director Darrell Watkin, was at a funeral of one of my love ones, even spoke to me and my wife! A couple days later he was in my wife's inbox on facebook trying to get with her. We're not the only victims, several of my friends have said the samething in regards to their wife!

We have done business with Willie Watkins Funeral Directors for several years after losing our family members. We have always been treated with respect and dignity and the ability of Mr. Watkins to go above and beyond board to accommodate us for the most simple things are commendable. I pray that he and his establishment be around for years to come as people like them are needed during these times.

They helped my dad when he died. I highly recommend this funeral home because they did great and everything was perfect.

My experience with Willie A. Watkins funeral home was excellent. The staff treated us with love and respect. They made sure my mom service was how we want her service to be.

I would like to start by saying that from the moment I walked in the door of the Willie A. Watkins funeral home I was INSTANTLY impressed! During my first appointment I only sat down for less than 1 minute when I was approached by Mr. Willie Watkins himself. He asked if I had been helped and I let him know that I was waiting to see an associate, but he insisted that I would no longer wait and helped me immediately. After seating me in the conference room, he explained the services he could offer. Then he brought Kelvin into the room to finish the meeting, but made sure I was happy with the information provided. Kelvin was absolutely wonderful! He took me to the cemetery to speak to a representative and waited for me to finish before bringing me back to the funeral home. After my Mother passed away, the staff members came to pick her up from our home and we couldn’t believe how professional they were! The entire process from beginning to end was the greatest experience we could have asked for. We are extremely grateful to the Willie A. Watkins staff for making our time of bereavement more peaceful and allowing a smooth transition for our Beloved Mother.

Unusual post to say the least, encountered a driver by the name of Malik at the Shell filling tanks, probably preparing for the next day service for families laying their love ones to rest. I pulled in a pump behind unknowing that he was switching cars in between, after the switch he aggressively pulled the next car in, backed up really fast, to where it was inches from my car. I laid in the horn, he jumps out cursing screaming he knows what he doing , he have cameras. I asked him what company he works for ? He refused to tell me. Another driver pulled up and I snapped his pic and plate number and I was able to see it was Watkins- smh With the rage currently in this world, that outburst of his could’ve ended differently.

If you plan to spend upwards of 10k, you make be completely satisfied. Otherwise its subpar to mediocre. All about cash money of course.

4EVER TRUE!

Really NICE staff, Mr Watkins is one of the most sincere, community minded men in Atlanta!

A professional and elite service that was provided by the Staff of Willie A Watkins Mortuary. Most appreciative, and would highly recommend.

Today we had my uncle (Zack)funeral service at Willie Watkins. For the first I must say we did NOT receive the Willie Watkins experience. I guess all the staff was so worried about being Hungry and the weather that they forgot the Willie Watkins way. Maybe this new younger generation is not ready for the responsibility.

Lyd Bull

Worst place ever. The presentation is great and I'm sure you will think you ate being handled but it is not worth it. The services they provided me were approximately $700.00 more than all the competitors and when I asked about the price difference they told me the difference was the service. Unfortunately I did not have an idea because I had to make decisions quickly and once they had my mother the cost to change would have doubled to change funeral homes. They did not communicate with me the way they should have and in order for me to get information I had to call multiple times in one day. If you leave it up to the secretary no messages will get delivered. If you have a chance please think again.
