Gina is the rudest person and the worst time of your life. By the way, they do not contact Social Security and you will be fighting with them for months. If by any chance you are not married and have only spent 27 years with someone she will make sure to tell you that you are no one and she doesn't want to speak to you any more. She has no problem calling for her money though every 2 hours the day after death. You get your cremains in a Crackle Barrel Bag. If they had negative stars I would do that. Thanks for making the worst time of my life ever worse. Now writing going on 6 months after death and I am still fighting with Social Security because they never reported the death. called Gina again and I was told never to call her again. Just do your job!!!

When my mother passed after having been in Assisted Living and me having taken care of her for many years at home I was so undecided as to what to do about her passing. Georginia came to my home and sat and talked to me and listened to me and helped me make a decision that was hard to make to say the least. This woman has more compassion in her heart for others then anyone I have ever met. I felt good about the decisions I made which I would have struggled with without her kindness and support. When my Mom's ashes were ready, she went out of her way to bring them to me. I will never forget her kindness.

My Sister-in-Law died unexpectedly in late August in Naples Florida. I do not live in Florida so I was searching the web for a direct cremation. I would have been totally lost in the mist of such a sad occurrence if it had not been for the kind, sympathetic and caring service I was provided. Just hearing Gina's voice had a calming effect on me. Gina and Linda took care of everything I needed to move forward with the cremation. They called me every step of the way to ensure I was well aware of what was going on. I felt like family was making all the arrangements. I would highly recommend Mortuary Services of Florida.

I will solidify another comment regarding how rude and disrespectful Gina was during a time of great loss. I was shocked as to how she spoke to me. I would NOT recommend that anyone use this company. This is not how people should be treated. No compassion whatsoever. Disgusted. She is in the wrong business.

My mother in law passed away after a 5 month battle with cancer. While we knew God was preparing her place and we prepared for her "homegoing", it did not make the planning easier. We were incredibly blessed to meet Gina and her staff. They made the process of a full funeral as pleasant as possible and their compassion was beyond measure. We are forever grateful to her and the staff.

I don't live in Florida, so when my brother passed away recently I made a few calls to try and figure out which company I was going to hire to handle the cremation that he desired. After talking to Gina at Mortuary Services of Florida it was quite clear that she was taking a personal interest in seeing that this was handled properly and at a reasonable cost. After several interactions with her and her staff I can't say how pleased I was with the whole process, and would highly recommend them. They were very responsive and truly caring. Gina was also able to explain the laws of Florida to me, so I understood the entire process and how things were going to be handled before and after the cremation, such as obtaining death certificates, etc. Also, they offered to personally deliver my brother's ashes to me, which was extremely helpful given all of the other things I had to take care of at the time.

Gina was a God Send We did not know what we were doing. She was patient with us. She walked us thru the steps and made us feel comfortable. She helped me on so many ways and i will eternally be greatful. Thank you so much Gina. Dennis was also very respectful when picking up my aunts ashes. I'm extremely satisfied with quality of service and care I received from Mortuary Services of FL. They arrived in a very timely fashion at the rehab center where my wife had passed. The driver and assistant were well groomed and uniformed; they stayed in the background until we the family said our last goodbyes and prayers. Everything was handled with the upmost dignity. It has been over 2 and a half years since my mother was rather quickly and surprisingly taken from this world. I was devastated and at times unable to even put into words what I needed or where to start. I was left with a limited budget and no plans or arrangements for my mother. The ladies at Mortuary are some of the best and most loving woman I have ever met. I was blown away from start to finish. The attention to details from my mothers remains to constantly checking up with me and making sure I was ok through each and every step. I was blown away again when after 2 and a half years I called them again to ask how to get more copies of my death certs and they were more then happy and willing to help me every step away again. I could never of imagined going through this tragic time of my life so easily with out the love and care of the ladies and staff at mortuary services of Florida.

My dad passed suddenly and unprepared, in Florida. I am in California. By the Grace of God, I found this wonderful group of women who have been awesome in helping me bring dad home. They are efficient, caring, patient, and understand your grief. I have dealt with many funerals and understand the terrible prices charged for services. Dad's cremation and to bring him to California, was reasonable and very affordable. I will never be able to thank Mortuary Services enough for helping me navigate a terrible event in our family. My only recommendation is to families -- PREPARE AHEAD! Let your family know your wishes!

Very blessed and pleased with how professional and caring the staff was, making this experience much more positive than I'd expected. Susan was wonderful to work with. She gave me great peace of mind knowing my beloved, elderly aunt's wishes were followed and we can have for a memorial service for her at a later time. The home delivery courier service, which was included, was the best. A friendly, well-dressed representative arrived at the scheduled time with a pleasantly decorative gift bag with the well-packaged cremains, death certificate and travel-transfer card for when I fly back to Chicago at a later date. I have decided that this is the company I'd choose for myself, knowing the quality and care my loved ones will receive. Thank you!

Called to ask one question and owner of company was EXTREMLY RUDE!!!! Woman states she was owner of company and she was closed so she wasn't going to help me. If you are closed you should not be answering the phone. I have worked in customer survice for 15 + years and this is no way to treat a paying customer! Very very rude!!!!

Very Professional and Compassionate - During a grieving period, it was nice to deal with a company, or better, to deal with real people, that were straight forward and had great customer care. Gina (owner) took my call in my moment of grief and shock. I had just lost my wife, she died way too young (59) and I didn't know where to turn. The first funeral home I called was cold and uncaring, the complete opposite of Gina and Richard. They were so helpful, caring, understanding, and the prices were extremely reasonable, much less than the Funeral Home Mafia. Meeting Gina and Richard helped restore my confidence in human nature. I encourage anyone going through a similar situation to at least give them a try. They are busy, they are not a secret any longer, so be a bit patient if you have to, but Gina did a great job getting me in right away.

If you want to be treated with contempt, rudeness, and experience a dictatorial attitude at a time when you have lost a loved one, then by all means call Mortuary Services. They are rude, and both women, the owner especially is a caustic Northeastern woman who lack any kind of empathy. They took my mother's body, and when I didn't jump through their hoops "fast enough" and complained, they told me to find a new mortuary, and would not tell me where they had taken my mother's body. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I would like to personally thank Gina and her staff for being so professional and assisting my daughter and son in their time of need concerning their father. This story is horrific and I am sure it happens more often then we think. My daughter contacted another crematory service for her father who lives in Florida and she lives in Maryland. The original facility was LEGACY CREMATION & FUNERAL SERVICES, who are criminals DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! Short story - she was quoted one price over the phone of $1090.00 plus $10.00 for each death certificate. They sent her papers to sign, which she did and faxed them back to authorize them to pickup the body and cremate. After she sent the papers she received and invoice, which was not included in the original application, in the amount of $1580.00, adding all kinds of charges. When we called to find out why, AJ would not accept calls and finally called to say, he had the body and would charge $490.00 for pickup of the body if we elected to go with another crematory service. Then the medical examiner called to advised that the body was ready for pickup. My daughter advised them DO NOT release the body to Legacy. We contacted Mortuary Services and spoke with Gina who was utterly astonished that he lied about having the body and was basically holding the body hostage. End result was Gina and Jodi took over and even called my daughter to advise that they had her father and he is safe. Don't ever believe there are no angles. Because Gina and her employees are indeed ANGELS IN OUR EYES.
