Service was great, but I have since left 2 messages with the answering service for someone to call me regarding a very important question, I have not heard back from anyone. So, I re-rated the experience.

They took the time to listen - not just to our needs but to what our mother would have wanted. They explained each step and option which helped us make our decisions. Their suggestion of a memory board with photos of people and things important to her was a source of wonderful memories raised by the friends and family viewing it during the gathering prior to the service. They took care of everything and made a difficult time far less traumatic.

Do not use this funeral home. Please trust me on this because I lost my husband 15 months earlier and the funeral home I used in Lake County was excellent compared to this one. There are many others to choose from. When we had my father's funeral on a Sunday in March and came in early to see our dad, it was not good. The lighting was awful and caused orange lines and circles around his eyes and neck. They adjusted the lighting but it still was not good.They forgot to hide the plastic that was visible below his neck and we asked what that was. That's where the incision was he said. I'm not making this up. I have witnesses. For all the money we paid, it was very disappointing. They didn't even trim the hair on my dad's ears and trim his sideburns when we asked for this ahead of time while we made funeral arrangements in their office. I feel the men that work here who have been there for awhile have become complacent. They have forgotten how sensitive this time is for family. Plus isn't a funeral supposed to hand out the programs we paid them a lot of money for? We realized at the graveside hardly anyone got a program at the funeral home where we had the service.

They told my mother in law to be there at 2 and we ended up waiting over an hour- not even exaggerating- got there right at 2 and waited after 3. We ended up leaving to have lunch then return back. They are the slowest in the world, so if you go here, make sure you are prepared to wait at LEAST 30 minutes MINIMUM.

I would like anyone thinking of using this funeral home to thank twice.1st they delay my sons cremation because of a staff issue second they had me pay for death certificates that were wrong blaming Shands for the mistake. The director of the funeral home Steven Dunn an staff Emily both threatened the police if we showed up to get my sons remains an now are holding his remains. I have filed a lawsuit in my sons death an added this funeral home to that lawsuit do to mental anguish . I hope people read this before they send there loved ones to be cared for by this incompetent company Beware ont use them we may not even get are sons remains could be ur loved one instead . I hope no one else has to go through the pain an suffering on top of losing a loved one an then have to deal with the unprofessional staff at this place negative 100******* if possible

I can’t believe I have to even give them one star. They don’t even deserve that. My fiancé and them didn’t exactly hit it off. They wouldn’t let him have any say in our sons Cremation. They called up for me to fill out the death certificate. I told them the time my son passed away and they must have forgotten to put it in because his death certificate says 1200 and his certificate of cremation says it as well. They tried to blame our dr. Who had nothing to do with it. Charged us for the wrong certificates, and told us it doesn’t matter. Said they would reimburse usfor them and never did. Our son was only 18 days old. It matters to us that his information is correct. So after arguing with us they refused to let us come in there to pick up his ashes. I had to sign written consent for a hospital employee to pick up my babies remains. This is extremely insensitive. Instead of admitting they were wrong they tried to place blame else where, and the result of that was a babies ashes being passed around like a hot potato. As if this isn’t hard enough they decided to make is harder by not taking fault for their mistakes. Please don’t use this funeral home, they don’t care about you or your loved one. We are grieving parents that received no sympathy from a place where you would expect it the most.

Joe Pavlich and the staff at Forest Meadows were incredible and such a pleasure to work with! They made my mom's (Betty Addison) funeral as easy as it could possibly be. They were compassionate and dealt with the family in such a professional manner. Each staff member went out of their way to be sympathetic and help us with anything we needed. The cookies at the viewing were incredible! Thank you all! We will forever be blessed!
