We came to Charles E Davis Funeral Home after getting the cold shoulder from a pretty cold hearted sales person at a near by funeral home which I won't mention. It was pretty evident that the sales person did not want to take the time of day, as we were not going to spend nearly enough money. We were of course comparison shopping as we were planning ahead. We wanted a simple cremation with an urn. After being given the cold shoulder at the other location we were a bit reluctant to ask the same question... Could we have assistance with pricing for an inexpensive cremation... At Charles E Davis Funeral Home we were greeted by a very nice lady who showed us to a meeting room, where we were assisted by a gentleman named Joe. Joe was not only courteous, he was extremely helpful and professional. He treated our situation with the same respect and courteousness that he would have treated someone who was doing a full service and burial. It was evident that the staff at Charles E Davis Funeral Home were concerned with us finding comfort in our loved one being cared for with kindness and respect... Thank you Joe for treating us with the same kindness as if we were from your own family... It was truly appreciated, and we will definitely come to Charles E Davis Funeral Home when we are ready to plan for our own service.

My sister passed last Saturday in ICU at Seven Rivers after a very brief illness. The staff of Charles Davis has been respectful in every aspect of the arrangements. We waited at the hospital until their representative came for her. We then met with both Mr. Davis and Joe on Sunday to plan the arrangements. The prices are fair and at no time were we pressured to spend anything that we did not want to spend. There is a reason that they have successfully been in business for as many years as they have.
