Mealey Funeral Home has helped me and our family with numerous funerals, and I am always so touched by their warm and caring approach. Most recently Rachel and Chick assisted me with an out of state family member who was being cremated and flown back to Delaware for the funeral service and burial. Their knowledge, experience and caring approach was tremendous, and provided much comfort with a process that I was unfamiliar with. They are the very best!

After a very difficult time and many road blocks on my part.... She calmed me down and they were on top of every little detail. . I wanted a unique flower arrangement and they made it happen (it turned out awesome!!!! I was super late (with all the boards, pix , slideshow) They took it in stride and didn't even bat an eye . They made a hard time so much easier it was all about our loved one and it was the h way WE wanted. Highly recommend .

Very sadly, this is the second time we needed Mealey's services in the last few months. This time, my mother-in-law passed. It was a very traumatic for all, especially my wife. We called Mealey's to come out to the house. From the moment my wife talked to Laura on the phone, she began to clam down a bit. They asked how much time we needed. They allowed us the time to have some family members come to the house to say goodbye. We called when we were ready and Rachel and her team came to the house. Her demeanor was so patient, kind, and understanding. She allowed us more time and waited until we were ready to take my mother-in-law to the funeral home. When making the arrangements, Chic was very patient with my wife and very nervous, very upset father-in-law. They made the rest of the experience as easy as possible The care and services we received from Mealey's was wonderful. They are a family business and they made us feel like family, too. We highly recommend them.

Another reviewer stated the home needed to be updated. They must not have been there in a while because it has been completely remodeled and it is beautiful inside. Even if it had not been remodeled, I would still have used their services simply because of Chick and Rachel. I highly recommend them.
