When a loved one dies we have to deal with a flood of emotions, questions, and notifications. While in a haze of grief, we have to make final arrangements. This begins with choosing a funeral home. I had attended a viewing and several services for people through The Springs Funeral Services at both locations as well as at a church. Every time, the services were beautiful and the staff was organized, professional, and caring. When I had to choose a funeral home to pick my mom’s body up from a nursing home, I chose The Springs Funeral Services. Jamie picked her up and Tom helped us plan a beautiful service at our church. We provided the photos and song titles and we were provided a beautiful memory DVD. Everyone I remember speaking with, Jamie, Tom, and Diane was compassionate and understanding. I highly recommend The Springs Funeral Services for dignity and peace of mind.

As the time neared for us to find a funeral home, I asked our hospice provider who would they recommend on a lengthy list of homes. They gave me a couple they felt were good. After researching the questions to ask and calling each of them I found the folks at Springs Funeral services to be the most personable and friendly over the phone. We then met them and and felt like they would take great care of my grandmother when the time came. We were not disappointed, they were very understanding and took great care. I would definitely recommend them if anyone is in need of these services.

They took care of my wife's funeral. This a very professional group of people and very caring and attentive as well. They worked with us and the insurance company. It was great to have them taking care of all of the details. Because I had my own issues to take care of at that time. They did a fantastic job. They made the cremation process of my newborn daughter the worst they ever could have. Called them and told them we were coming to drop something off to be put with her before they started the process they said ok just make sure you get it here before 4pm. We dropped everything off and my husband asked if they knew what time she would be cremated they said they don't know the exact time but they knew that it would be done that day (Wednesday) and she would be ready to be picked up by Thursday or the latest Friday. We stopped in Friday expecting to pick up her ashes when they told my husband she hasn't been cremated yet. Ok well maybe they made a mistake and got the days mixed up on Wednesday when they said she would definitely be cremated. The lady told us she would 100% be ready to pick up on Saturday. I called Saturday afternoon and they told me she is scheduled to be cremated MONDAY. I lost it and asked to speak to a manager. The manager told me she would be cremated that day and be ready for pick up Sunday by 2pm. And thankfully that time they actually did what they said they were going to do after lying and changing their story up two times. She was supposed to be cremated Wednesday, then it went to Saturday and then Sunday. I was also told if I wanted to see my daughter before she was cremated I would have to pay $390. They said they needed to know that I wanted to see her again before they even picked her up from the hospital, or else I couldn't. Well don't you think that's something you should ask the families that just lost their loved one? How is anyone supposed to know you can't see them again unless you tell the funeral home before they even pick the person up, if you aren't told about that "policy". On top of what my husband and I were already dealing with, the loss of our newborn daughter, Springs Funeral Services made the whole situation so much worse. I absolutely do NOT recommend them.

This was a difficult time. I'd lost my husband of 37 years and was faced with so many decisions. Dom and the staff at The Springs Funeral Services were so caring and considerate. Providing just the services we needed with out a harsh sales pitch and guiding us through the process in a gentle, thoughtful manner. The ladies that were sent to pick up my husband for his final ride were very professional and capable. Thank you does not say enough for the care and service you provide.
