My husband passed away Alvin let the kids who were not in their father life for 14yrs and then allowed them run the bill up and instead of asking me for info he just was looking for a big wind fall and I wouldn't allow my dog be put down by these crooks I made sure the money my husband job took up a collection and his kid just knew he was going get the cash in his hand my husband friend made sure monies was paid directly to the funeral home I am going to make sure I have everything is spelled out one not dealing with these money hungry fools.

Mark met with my friend and I today she lost her son on Friday. Mark and his staff treated us with much respect. He didn't look down on us when we told him there was no big insurance policy. He helped us make calls and we signed all the paperwork. The staff treated us like we were part of the family.

He and his staff were as gentle with me like a floating feather. On our first meeting I knew my mother would be well taken care of, and she was, with elegance and grace. I LOST MY LAST LIVING RELATIVE (MY UNCLE BOB) ON MY FATHERS SIDE OF THE FAMILY IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR. HE LIVED IN COLORADO AND I LIVE IN HAWAII. WE WERE THE ONLY FAMILY EACH OTHER HAD. I WAS TRULY DEVASTATED BECAUSE I KNEW THAT THERE WAS NO WAY THAT I COULD EVEN GET TO COLORADO HAVING JUST BEEN LAID OFF AND BEING A SINGLE PARENT LIVING PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK. ALSO, NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO, WHO TO CALL OR EVEN IF HE WOULD BE BURIED PROPERLY I WAS VERY VERY DEPRESSED AND FEELING WORTHLESS THAT I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING FOR MY UNCLE. LET ME JUST SAY THAT ONCE I WAS PUT IN TOUCH WITH "PIPKIN BRASWELL" I STARTED FEELING THAT THERE WAS A LIGHT AND THE END OF THE TUNNEL. ALVIN TOOK ME THRU WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND KEPT RE-ASSURING ME THAT HE WOULD BE MORE THAN HONORED TO ACCEPT MY UNCLES FLAG ON MY BEHALF AT HIS MILITARY FUNERAL. HE KEPT IN TOUCH WITH ME VIA E-MAIL AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT A FUNERAL DIRECTOR DOES. HE TOOK PICTURES, ACCEPTED THE FLAG AND HAD THE FUNERAL CARDS MADE. HE THEN MAILED ALL THIS TO ME @ NO EXPENSE TO ME. HE PAID FOR THE PHOTOS, THE MAILING AND THE PRINTING OF THE BROCHURES. A MILITARY FUNERAL ONLY INCLUDES THE PREPARING OF THE BODY AND DELIVERING IT TO THE CEMETERY. ALVIN WAS A GOD SEND AND I CAN NEVER EXPRESS WHAT IT MEANT TO ME KNOWING THAT MY UNCLE WAS LAID TO REST WITH DIGNITY. IF EVER YOU ARE NEED OF FUNERAL SERVICES KNOW THAT "PIPKIN BRASWELL" IS TRULY IN THE BUSINESS OF CARING FOR PEOPLE. I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO THEM .
