The staff was very understanding and gentle. Our service for my father was very nice and they made him look very peaceful. 1/7/14 was the date. Harrison-Ross is the best hands down. #DavisFamilyApproved

Too many phone calls to too many family members leading up to the viewing created unnecessary stress and mass confusion. We were clear on who the primary contact was-however the person assigned to us was easily distracted and fragmented. A lack of technical savvy from their staff and inability to take direction was frustrating-we had the same conversations over and over. :-( Untimely follow-up on important items such as the death certificate is still ongoing....the person helping us dropped the ball on fingerprints for a necklace and glossed over the fact that she messed up-we cannot get them made now. We had one chance to get them. She blew it for us. No apology. I understand that most of the time they are dealing with an older clientele who may not be tech savvy-however, I do expect to be able to communicate via email in today's business world. Completely disappointed and I would never recommend them as this was consistent across 3 locations in SoCal-we went to 2 different locations attempting to obtain personal belongings because we were told they were in Compton...then sent to Firestone...they were supposed to be at the Crenshaw location. #Clowncar

I would never use this place ever again then director was an older lady very rude. We. Paid for all services on the spot they were supposed to get a 3 gun salute for my father who served in the military not only did the forget about it they never mentioned that they forgot the only way I found out was by coming in the day before the service to make sure everything ran smoothly I had to call them myself and have them send some which I paid for them to do, and made it happen in less than 24hours, then the old lady kept referring to my father as the body, not love one father nothing just the body we had a closed casket service then she told me I would not be able to have my father service inside because he was not embalmed the person taking care of my father which was the same mortician I used for my mother was already aware and had already knew why and what his wishes were and was well prepared for my father to be there in his closed casket service, she made me call the mortician in front of her just to let her know that he already taken care of my father properly and he would be brought in early morning as prior discussed, then she told me we didn't pay for the use of the DVD player with the video which we did, but I paid again because I was very frustrated even though I had the contract with me, lastly she directed on of the funeral personnel a large man to move my father casket back in the middle of the service the day of while everyone was watching I was in shock no help from any other personnel and without reason ,she said she didn't want family members to cry or touch the casket thinking someone would knock it over, first of all I don't know whose Family actually does all the crying and knocking over cast his I'm not familiar with them I have no idea who she was talking about secondly it was a closed casket there was a picture of my father up there was no need for anyone to even approach the casket and the man still move my father almost tipping him over when I told her that I will want to speak to her after services in regards to all of the things that were happening and that I will be talking to a lawyer she told me that the body was not supposed to be there in the first place very rude I am still going to continue to pursue to sue them

I had pre- needs with Harrison Ross when my husband passed away in 2013, all I had to do was tell the hospital which mortuary to call and it was all taken care of and we live in another state, therefore when my children's father passed away, of course I recommended them to them for the service and everything was as smooth as I expected.
