To this day the firm gets a score of 4.2 over 5 and the rating is based on 43 reviews.

As you can see the average of ratings that it reaches is high, and it is founded on a very large number of scores, so we may say that the valuation is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to leave their review when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.

You know that we do not usually bother to set tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...

Cemetery CLOSES after SUNSET!! Gates are CLOSED & LOCKED right after dusk. If you do not leave cemetery grounds before that, YOU WILL BE LOCKED-IN and will be UNABLE TO GET-OUT!! Google Maps is WRONG, Cemetery is NOT Open 24 Hours!!!

Terrible experience. The Hospice nurse called them after my step dad passed, and verified everything, and said they should be here in 90 minutes or less to pick up my step dad. After 2 hours, we called them, and spoke to an extremely rude person who said they had no record of the call, and basically blew us off. No compassion, let alone any help. Had to call the hospice nurse, who then tried for the next hour to get help. Finally got a call back, and said they were in route and would be here momentarily. No one showed up. Still waiting for pickup, 4 hours later. Very bad experience. Constantly on hold. Still waiting- 5+ hours, and no one at Eternal Valley knows anything. Someone finally showed up ... for paperwork. Probably to upsell for more cost. No transport.

Don't have a reception here after the funeral. My family had paid for extra time so everyone can have plenty of time to eat and talk after the service. We we're told then during the reception that we were supposed to all leave an hour ago, but was under the impression that we had another hour left. We even went back to check the emails and sure enough, it said we had paid until the the time we thought. When discussing this with the workers there at the time, they said there is nothing they could do and had a party arriving in an hour so we had to leave asap. Didn't even offer to reimburse for the extra spent for extra time. Awful scheduling skills, whoever is doing the planning and coordinating, shame on you.

As of Sept 2017 the roads are being repaved so it should look even better in the near future. Although most memorial parks don't do upright tombstones, this one has sections with them. The chapel in the office at the top of the hill is a very nice space with anterooms for refreshments if you're doing a big viewing service like we were. Historic pictures on the walls are interesting. Staff are nice. Proximity to the 14 freeway makes it easy to find.

Have several family members as well as friends that now have permanent residency here. The staff has always been very patient, compassionate, empathetic, and considerate which is exceptional considering the circumstances of ones business with them and the potential challenges that one might encounter.

There is no way to edit, and accurately reflect hours, it is not open 24 hours as Google maps indicates. Park is open Sunrise to Sunset, gates are locked 15 minutes after that

Nothing should surprise me anymore I guess. Although the park is a beautiful one and I have family members and friends resting there, the customer service I received over the phone is unacceptable. And customer service is always super important. While calling recently to inquire about a family friend's service after much confusion, I spoke with a woman who said she did not see anything listed for that name. She asked for my phone number and said she could certainly have someone else return my call shortly to see if they could help. After almost 2 hours went by, I thought I'd better try again because we were told by someone else that the service would be that afternoon. I called and it wasn't even noon yet. The gentleman that answered said he was the answering service and nobody was in the office. He was nice enough, but insisted I look at their website since he could not locate anything either. That's fine, but what if I'm not computer literate or don't have a phone with internet access., maybe I'm 100 years old and blind! Just because almost everyone does, doesn't mean we all do. Good thing I was able to check the website and find out the correct details we needed (by the way, nobody ever did return my call).

Beautiful resting place for loved ones. Grass is nicely trimmed around markers but I did have to uncover vase for our flowers. The area is nicely maintained. A good place to reflect passed times with loved ones. A very peaceful and quiet place to reflect.

Visited for its historical designation (CHL#688): Lyons Station Stagecoah Stop. This site was the location of a combination store, post office, telegraph office, tavern, and stage depot accommodating travelers during the Kern River gold rush in the early 1850s. A regular stop for Butterfield and other early California stage lines, it was purchased by Sanford and Cyrus Lyons in 1855, and by 1868 at least twenty families lived here. Eternal Valley Memorial Park has called their final resting place "The Garden of the Pioneers."

I am really disappointed. My husband passed on July 20. He was cremated which was put off until Aug 3 (i believe). I had a pendant coming to me with his fingerprint and an inscription on the back. Now i was told it takes about 6-8 weeks. Well as time keeps passing i still have not received any info as to what the status is on this pendant. As you can understand the emotional impact of your loved ones death has no time period. In my thoughts i should have this pendant by now. i have emailed Shannan Guillory by email 3 times this month and have received no response. i am really disappointed. i know she has a lot to deal with but 3 emails and still no response......now i feel ignored. i had waited to do my review of the memorial park because i had feelings that things were going to bad once i wrote a great review. So i decided to wait and i am glad i did. Because of how Shannan has been ignoring me i am writing this review. I am extremely disappointed. If you have other options of a memorial park i suggest something other then Eternal Valley. Or at least deal with someone other then Shannan.

My father has been here in rest for 46 years, his picture on his plaque is showing its age, I requested a quote on renewing it. Instead they had it cleaned up, it looks like new! Thank you so much. Duane Blaylock.

I attended a memorial on February 23rd 2017-last Friday. It was outdoors and it was very windy and very cold that day.It was a small family gathering to put ashes in the ground. There were several elderly people attending with canes including the widow.I was very concerned about their safety as there were softball size holes on the existing headstones (for flower vases)very close together where we had to walk.I grabbed them as they arrived as I was so worried someone was going to trip or step in the hole...there should have been plywood covers or something similar so we were not walking on top of decedents headstones which in my world is disrespectful. The headstones were so close together there was no way to avoid stepping on them. Also very disappointing was the loud tractors right over the hedge-they were so loud coupled with the wind you could not hear anyone speak! The Eternal Valley employees were very kind and did a great job.I asked them about the tractor noise and they just shrugged...I feel that there should have been effort made to request the tractors stop for the short service.I have been to many services at Eternal Valley and this was quite disappointing. 03-21-18 I sent my info as requested on march 5th and no response

Absolutely wonderful place to work with, caring and compassionate from the first call I made to them after hours on a Friday, and continued throughout the whole process. They walked us through everything. We were pleased with the extras we weren't expecting. Thank you Victoria and Eddie.
