We attend the same church and are deeply devoted to helping others- I lost my mom last April and every detail was explained and discussed with us. Everyone there showed and expressed their sympathy. They handled paperwork for me with Social Security. They are not into up-selling you. They are there to help, ease, and comfort you. When and if the need arises, I would recommend giving them a call. I have known Josh and his family for nearly 11 years. I have had several occasions to honor and celebrate the passing of a life through England Family Mortuary. In all cases, Josh and his parents were so respectful and honored the deceased and their family with faith, grace, and respect. I was most touched by how they supported the family of a student of mine who suddenly and unexpectedly lost her father. She was only in 2nd grade. They helped her through the viewing by letting her wait in a special room with me until she was ready. They are so sensitive and thoughtful.

My family and I would love to share the immense gratitude we have for Greg, Josh, and their staff at England Family Mortuary. My husband passed away December 1, and from the moment we contacted them until the funeral was over, our experience was exceptional. horrific, disorganized, unprofessional business. this morturary did not follow up with the cemetery and didn't give us the appropriate paper work for my grandma's burial!!! they gave us the wrong certificate and it had somebody else's name on the permit!!!!! thus the cemetery turned us away and my mom's burial service was cancelled. how do you give someone the wrong cremation certificate?! it makes my family and i worried that the ashes are not even my grandma's!!!!! absolutely ridiculous. this is not stuff you can mess up!!!! people and families are trusting you with the remains of their loved one and you mess this up?!?! dont ever come here!!! this is a stupid ridiculous mistake that should not have been made for something extremely serious!!! terrible terrible terrible horrific place. Mistakes happen, yes, but the type of business this is, there is NO room for error. The purpose is to help make this tough time as smooth as possible, but England Family Mortuary has done opposite of that.

Recently My Client passed away whom I cared for everyday along with his wife. The morning of his passing we called England Family Mortuary and they came as soon as possible, they were very respectful, compassionate , and gave us time to say our last good byes. They were very helpful in explaining our options and took us step by step on every decision. they answered every question we had, dealt with all our arrangements and documentation. Greg was very reassuring and gave us all the time we needed to set up for the service, they let us basically do things how we wanted. We had asked Greg if he could say a few closing words at the end of the service, and everything he said was just beautiful with a little humor and very light. Our whole experience was so smooth and professional yet caring and compassionate. this was the second time my clients family had gone through England Family Mortuary for a loss of a loved one. I would highly recommend them.

We needed their services 8 years ago when we lost my mom and sister within three months of each other. I'm sorry that it has taken this long for me to write this review. I recently suffered the biggest loss of my life when my twin sister passed away. I was completely shaken to the core because of it. I had no idea how to go about dealing with and planning her funeral. The England's came to my aide without hesitation and with complete compassion and heartfelt,sincere sympathy and understanding. They literally made all of the arrangements and supported me every single step of the way. This is not just a business to them! They are truly in it to ease the pain of loss and walk WITH you through one of life's toughest journeys. We will all walk through loss at some point in life, so if and when you find yourself on the dark road of loss, do yourself a favor and use the England Family Mortuary and they will unequivocally brighten your path and lighten the weight of your loss! Our experience as a grieving family with England family mortuary has been nothing but – DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I don’t suppose they know nor have feelings for what a family goes through during a time of great loss. Maybe they do it so many times that they really do not care, desensitized… take a number and fall in line, next… Mistakes after mistakes, some typographical, which is routine for usual office paperwork, but when it happens for the kind of service they claim to provide, it is not just a slip in judgment, it is utterly pure wanton disregard for indescribable sadness that a family feels for their dearly departed. In fact, some of the promises they told us were outright lies, like the schedule for when cremation happens and funeral arrangements. The troubling fact about all this is they say it with a straight face! I have never even so much as heard of a funeral service not going through because of a “technical detail”, we can thank Donna Lent, one of their staff members for this fiasco. Her answers to all our inquiries, feigning ignorance – she knows nothing. From there, it becomes a rotating circle, the cemetery is not at fault, it is the mortuary, the mortuary is not at fault - it is the authorities (whoever they may be) that are in charge of overseeing those “technical details”. The FAULT lies at the hands and fingers of the people at England Family Mortuary, as those fingers hit keystroke after keystroke. What they provide is not an application for a driver's license, they process details of a death in the family, one fact which they seem unaware of. They post certificates on their walls about resolution and negotiations, yet when you call and want to discuss the issue, they refer you to the secretary. At the magnitude of the mistakes they have made, the correct resolution should be to elevate it to the next higher level, for them they downgrade it. The secretary tells you that she will discuss it to someone in charge and she will call you – NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK! Would you believe – they gave us a “Burial certificate” of another person? How cold is that??? That was not the reason that the funeral did not go through though, that is just one of the mistakes. I DEMAND AN APOLOGY!

You don't wish that anyone has to go through the death and dying process, but we all do and you will be truly thankful to have England Family by your side to help navigate through this difficult time and process
