There was no request to big or small and if they could accommodate, which they always did; they made it easy. I never felt uncomfortable requesting anything or calling just to confirm something. When my mom passed late Saturday July 20, 2013, with out any funeral plans, I knew my wife and I had to find a funeral home to give her a final send off. Not wanting to wait until Monday to start calling, I called Sunday afternoon to Surprise Funeral Care, and to my surprise they were open. Holly answered the phone and I knew immediately I found the place that my mom would be comfortable with them taking care of her. Holly offered to have a meeting with me that afternoon to start to discuss the plans. From the first phone call, to the final service, Holly, Julie and Rylene (sp?) were 1st class. Caring, Compassionate, Empathetic and Sincere, are not even the beginning of the adjectives to describe this group. Knowing that I just lost my mom, and also me knowing that there was bound to be a bill coming up, there was never a moment when I felt taken advantage of, or pressured into anything I didn't want or need in a funeral service. It may be a little morbid, but nobody makes it out alive, so I have recommended every person I know to at least call Surprise Funeral Care to speak to them about prearranged services and arrangements.
