Horrible experience and very unprofessional. I had attended a funeral last week Thursday. As I was very emotional from mourning a lost I had set my phone down to go comfort some family. Not thinking about my phone I began to walk out the door with family and friends. We all left to the National Memorial Cemetery at 1:15 my phone was left behind at the funeral home. As we finished the burial I returned to get my phone at the funeral home and was very upset to find out that the lady at the front desk said she had not seen it. Yet, I get home and begin to track it and get a location and timeline. The location was the funeral home with the time of 1:25 p.m. so I know it was left there and was taken and turned off by one of the employees. It saddens me to know that a place of business would have such dishonest people. That phone belonged to my son, it had his birthday gift cards, my 4yr old and 10 yr old son's health insurance cards, and my ID. Along with the only cash I had. So this lady didn't just take from me she took from my children. As a single mom with no income at this moment, it deeply saddens me to know that everything I had in that phone case is all I own.

I have a relative who attended a funeral this past week and her cell phone with all her money, gift cards,insurance cards for her and kids, she is a single mom so she doesn't have much. After leaving the funeral home at 1:15pm she tracked her phone and got a hit at 1:25pm at the funeral home and her phone was shut off. The last lady working there denied seeing it, however last place tracked before phone was turned off was there. Now you tell me what you think happened??

We just had a service from my younger brother who passed unexpectedly. As I was leaving my review, I noticed 3, 1 star reviews. It turns out they are about the same person who lost a cell phone. A cellphone? No mention of the service. This is what’s wrong with online reviews. They allow anyone for any reason to attack a local business. Sorry, after the week we have had as a family, it’s frustrating to see. Because we had a beautiful experience here at a very difficult time in our lives. Renee at Phoenix Funeral was more than just professional and excellent in every way. By the time of the service, it felt like she was a part of our family. We counted on her for everything and she came through. She guided us in a way that I’m convinced no one else could. We received the hearth wrenching call that no one wants to get. My brother had passed and after the initial shock, we didn’t know what was next. I went online and looked for a place nearest his home. I’ll always be grateful for our experience with Renee and Phoenix Funeral. She took our hand and guided us through an otherwise dreadful and confusing process. She answered every question, fulfilled every request, and went above and beyond to make every family member and friend feel welcome. His service became a “celebration” of his life, rather than a grim affair. Thank you, Renee, for being there for us.
