I am privileged to work part-time at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery. The grounds are beautiful, we work very hard to keep the grass green year round and gardens nice. My co-workers all treat me with respect and are very friendly. I love working here!

This place is a sanctuary. I wish I had the words of a poet to describe the sense of peace that I felt while visiting this place. It feels more like a garden or temple than a cemetery. Richard gave me a full tour and was very helpful. He takes an educative instead of a sales approach so that the family can make an informed decision and get exactly what they want for their loved ones who have passed on. They have everything you could think of here whether you're looking for burial or cremation, they have above-ground crypts both outdoors and indoors temp controlled, they have a section with above-ground tombstones which is rare these days, their service is top notch and beautiful grounds. Even if you aren't currently in need of funeral services it's worth it to visit this place for planning because it's easier to plan before hand than do guess work after your loved one has passed, even worse trying to plan during a time of grief.

Such a big and beautiful place, at my age sometimes i get lost. Thankful for a young man named Sam who works outside. He helped me find an old friend which was very generous because the poor gentleman was in the middle of fixing a sprinkler.

Elisa and Leigh are both very nice, compassionate and helpful ladies. I am glad that they were a part of our experience with Mountain View. I am very unhappy with the condition of the grass (or the lack there of). My son's plot never has grass, except for the hundreds of sticker patches that manage to get enough water to thrive. For the amount that families are charged for the plot etc, I sure would have thought that they would atleast make sure that the plots have adequate water supply and grass seed to allow grass to grow. Heart breaking really

The staff at Mountain View was exceptionally helpful after the sudden death of my husband. They walked me through all the necessary steps and spent as much time as I needed even though it was only a simple cremation with memorial services off site. Thank you from the Roberge family.

I don’t want to rant on too long but decided to leave a review, I’m from out of state but when i do come to visit my parents here at the mortuary I’m always impressed by the cleanliness and patriotism with all the American flags. But why im here today doing this review is because well it’s kind of embarrassing but from reading reviews it’s not uncommon but I couldn’t remember where my parents were. But thank goodness a young man who was working in a big hole. I think he said he was fixing a main pipe that busted. But he took the time to show me around to help find them and even offered a golf cart ride since it was hot. With kids nowadays it’s hard to find ones who still have the respect for the elders like the old days. But he was a little gentleman and I will always remember him and want to thank him for helping me find mom and dad.

Mountain View cemetery and Funeral home should not be considered as your loved ones final resting place. The owner Greg Coury is only in this for money and community involvement and noterity. He is not concerned for your loved ones or you as the family of those loved ones. They were planning a trunk or treat Halloween event and refused to listen to my concerned that this was not an appropriate event to be holding in the cemetery. Only once the news got involved did the owner begin to stutter and change his mind. After a week of news media report the event had been changed to a fall festival and the trunk or treat had been removed as well as the bounce house and the costumes. Imagine my surprise today whe I stopped by and dropped off 146 printed pages from the comments of the petition I began to stop this event and there were fliers that were announcing the event with the bounce house and costumes. Greg Coury told me they misprinted the fliers but handed them out anyway. I had talked about moving my daughter and he quoted me the wrong price. Greg Coury is all about the community but not about the dailies of the loved ones buried there. Shame on you Mr Coury

I'm trying to do some Pre planing so I visited MV. This place is Huge and only matched in size by its beauty. The staff here is very friendly, especially Edna Casillas. She was so kind and understanding, and even took the time to give me a tour of their gardens. I can understand why so many give this place positive reviews and if you choose this location as a final resting place for a loved one, see Edna.

Mother passed in January and All I've been told is excuses. No head stone and we are in may????Four Calls to this outfit with very little communication and seems like no ones taken responsibility. Complete garbage. I've been patient and each time Seems like I get the runaround. I would not recommend this place at all. Very disappointed.

Oct. 4, 2018 Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery hosted their 2nd Annual Pet Blessing. This is always such an awesome event. This year Father Pinti blessed the animals and everyone received a paw print of their animal. Make sure you attend next year! It is already set for Friday, October 4, 2019.
