You offered comfort, support, and a job well done. You went the extra mile transporting our departed loved one from there to Shiprock, NM, and closed out all that was needed. Thank you! Their employee Eric called my Step Mother in our time of grieving My deceased Father to inform her that during his cremation that their machine broke while trying to grind up My father’s bones. He then told her that he could wait for someone to come fix it or he would do it MANUALLY??? That was EXTREMELY unnecessary and unprofessional. A simple “I’m sorry this will take longer than expected” would have been fine. All that did was add to the horror of the situation. No one deserves to hear that 1 week after the death of their loved one. This was completely uncalled for and truly disgusting. I hope no one else has to go through such a tragedy. I flew to Arizona from Nebraska for Meldrum to inform me the only way I was allowed to view the body was if I paid $150 for a TEN MINUTE visit alone. Truly greedy, truly disgusting. I Do not recommend this place to anyone especially during a difficult time. The employees should be qualified to deal with families going through the grieving process.

The first time I contacted Meldrum's is when My Mom passed Away in 2014 the day after Mother's Day. Jaren and Eric came and were Very Professional. They let me know what was going to happen and set my mind at ease. Jaren handled all the paperwork for me, even having My Mom's Ashes put in with My Dad's. Five years later on April 3rd of this year My Aunt passed away and I again called Meldrum's and let them know My Aunt had been called home. They were there within the hour. My Aunt was in a group home. Jaren and Eric came in so quiet No one knew what one was going on. My sister and I got time to spend time with our Aunt. Once again Jaren handled all the paperwork. I don't know where I would have been without all their help and comfort. I Would Highly Recommend Meldrum Mortuary and Crematory to Everyone. You Will Be Treated Like Family As I Was.. The staff were so nice and professional, and they went to extreme measures to make sure that all my wishes for the funeral were meet and satisfied... Everything about my experience with Meldrum Mortuary was exceptional. Jaren was the easiest person to deal with and so kind and compassionate. His gentle manner was so comforting given all the emotions I was going through with the loss of my father. I will be forever grateful for this. Everyone was courteous and followed up when promised. They were prompt in handling each step along the way and kept me informed throughout. I really appreciated their high level of customer care.
