Great service. The only complaint I have was that Chapel of the Chimes felt the processing time for the assignment of life insurance was too slow with Thrivent Financial. As a financial representative of Thrivent, I find that hard to believe as I am already processing the death claim and should have the money yet this week. However, that was not quick enough and I was asked to put the expense on my credit card. I feel I was pressured to do this and believe you could have waited. Wanting the funeral to go well, I was not going to argue to put in any doubt.

Something good out of the bad. We use this place to receive my mom's body from overseas. Randy and his team had a high level of service. They were very accommodating, and unlike many other mortuaries were not trying to price gouge us. If you find yourself in the unfortunately place of having to bury a loved one, this place beats all the mortuaries we called.

The staff and referrals were thoughtful and perfect for our beliefs requests. Most of all, Tiffany is the one who orchestrated the services from beginning to end without missing any details. She provided the needed support in our time of grief and fulfilled our vision of how we wanted to say good bye to our mom and dad in the most beautiful way. We lost our dad and we didn't know what to expect. We did know he and my mom had already made/paid for their funeral arrangements. We were impressed with Chapel of the Chimes from the moment they picked up my dad and draped him with an American Flag. The team that picked him up were professional and compassionate. We made an appt. with Margaret for the following day and I cannot express more appreciation for her. Everything that was arranged by my parents was presented to us on a screen and we were able to ask questions as needed. I wasn't sure if there would be any attempt to upsell us on anything as this was all paid for in 2003 when my mom passed away and I'm happy to say there was nothing of the sort. Margaret was amazing. The best possible person I could think of to handle this occasion. She made sure our dad's services were as special as he was. She coordinated with Resthaven Cemetary and Funeral Home, the Pastor performing the services, and the Veterans organization, which made it a very easy for us during our sad time. Her attention to details showed when we arrived and she had a special jar of Hershey bars and kisses and an amazing little replica of a GCC track meet. She also ensured that we had perfect ending to my dad's service by timing a video clip to play. I highly recommend Chapel of the Chimes and Margaret. Our family had utilized the services of the Chapel of the Chimes for four previous family funerals. Each and every time, they provided exceptional care and service. When our Mother passed away recently, we went back to Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary and we were not dissapointed. Margaret Smith was the first one who reached out to us. Margaret directed and coordinated all of the activities and events of our Mother's arrangements. She did so in such a wonderful compassionate, caring, gentle manner, which did help lighten the emotional burden of this sad event. Sharon Bonds also provided outstanding assistance at the visitation and funeral and both Margaret and Sharon were professional, helpful, caring and sincere. Our Mother had passed at home and Chapel of the Chimes made arrangements for her to be transported to the care center. When the attendants Lawrence and Kat arrived, they were also very respectful, caring and professional. They treated both our Mother and us with care and dignity. As with our four previous family funerals, our Mother's was also handled exceptionally well in a very positive memorable manner. I definitely give Chapel of the Chimes and their staff the highest ratings and would definitely recommend them to a friend or family member. Thank you again for the exceptional service that you provided to our Mother and our family.

I had the priviledge of using Chapel of the Chimes to honor my mother. It was an amazing experience. We worked with Margaret who helped us navigate through all of hte details. She was very sensitive to our needs, took the time to understand who my mother was and understand what was important to her and our family and help us pull together the details that allowed us to share her story with family and friends. Shannon was also on hand to take care of the important details on that day and let us attend to our guests during this trying time. They were there to anticipate our guests needs. They also had the facilities to host a reception. The food was beautifully prepared and very tasty. Again they attended to all of those important details that just allowed us to attend to our guests. I would highly recommend them for any future needs. Just hopefully not too soon.

For many years I have recommended and used Chapel of the Chimes for funeral services. They have always been compassionate and understanding with me and the people I have sent to them. UNTIL TODAY. I don't know why the funeral director today got on her high horse, but she was rude and nasty to me. I wanted to see my friend because I won't be able to attend the viewing tonight or the service tomorrow and, if she could have thrown me out of the building she would have. If you're looking for a soft, sincere, compassionate place to hold a funeral service, I suggest you find another place other than the Chapel of the Chimes.
