This place is amazing! From the very beginning they were professional to the max and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. When my aunt was picked up from her home, the gentleman (who's name I did not get) made sure to respect our wishes, and was very gentle with her. When we came to the Chapel to make our arrangements everyone was again very respectful and professional! Octavio helped us throughout the process and made sure we understood everything that was going on. He went above and beyond what was needed and expected. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of these services. The prices are beyond reasonable and they do NOT try to take advantage of you in your time of grieving. Very pleased with the service we received!

This place is an absolute God send. It has been a very difficult time for me and my mother having just lost the only family we have, my grandfather. After a slew of bad luck and bad encounters with a few businesses, that will remain nameless, we finally found Avenidas Funeral Chapel. We went from being distraught & numb in tears to a much needed feeling of comfort & solace. These guys are nothing short of amazing. The owners name is Miguel, he not only goes above and beyond what's expected but prides himself on it (as does his staff). The level of sincerity from these people is beyond anything I could put into words. They spent almost 2 hours with us and covered every single detail, concern or question we had. When we left we were actually smiling knowing my grandfather was in good hands and in a place he would've felt like family at, just like we did. Miguel, Brandon and anyone I didn't get the name of at Avenidas....THANK YOU!

As a former employee of AVENIDAS FUNERAL CHAPEL i witnessed the tremendous and passionate effort this funeral home puts into making things easy understandable and affordable. The last thing anyone who has lost a dear loved one needs is a high bill Avenidas is 30% cheaper than most funeral homes in maricopa County. They make you feel like family they do not rush they do not pressure they listen and where you need help they grant it.For these reasons they have buried many of my family members.Godbless Them as a business and as individuals.Miguel Legaspi is a great man and has never turned anyone down.

I am so disappointed with the service that l got on today. My dad had already passed away and they we’re kind at the time, but go to vital records to pick up my Dad’s death certificate that should have been included with the package at the time of service, but it was not. Sat at vitals records for 2 hours on paper work to be sent and corrected. I won’t refer anyone to this funeral home for their love one so SAD..! At times like this I shouldn’t have to worry about correcting or paper work. That’s was the funeral home job.

What a good group of people. My family and I where trying to decide on a simple service for my uncle. Kyle sugested if the family was on a budget that perhaps we should consider a memorial service. No pressure at all. we where pretty much vulnerable because we where knew at this. Kyle guided us and never aplied any pressure or over the top recomendations. It was easy and we where in control. My experience with avenidas was very disappointing. I talked with at the least 5 different people. Was quoted 4 different prices, even after it was paid, I was told a different price. I have yet to receive my son's death certificate, I haven't seen the shape my son's ashes are in. But I know one thing, I'll never use avenidas again.

What an amazing young man. Octavio sat with us to make sure all of us (4 sisters, two brother and mom's granddaughter) were taken care of from the first day He made sure that we had appointments with the church and the cemetery. The only thing was that they were at least 15 minutes late for the family viewing at the church... so the only thing for me was that our immediate family never got the never got the memorial folders At the end of the day I have to say, Mom looked beautiful. She was a simple woman who was full of grace and love who didn't need much make up and she looked beautiful! Thank you Avenidas Funeral Chapel.

I live in Missouri. By brother passed away in Phoenix. I searched on the Internet and found Avenidais funeral chapel. Was I lucky! They took care of his cremation, mailing me his ashes and death certificates, all at a very affordable price and with the upmost grace and compassion. What a great group of people to work with! Horrible experience! These people do not know how to communicate!! Octovio is too busy with vacation he forgets he has a job to do and Lorena says she will do something and doesn't follow through, the worst! The owner finally stepped in at the last minute and made things right and my family and I are grateful for him!

In general no information and they do not keep you in the loop. You can try to call and sometimes they answer the phone. Pay up front and grin and bear it! I do not recommend them.

Unfortunately I recently had to have my brother cremated. After much research I decided that avenidas was the one to go with. I am happy that I did. They walked me through everything and helped with every question I had. The best part of my experience was that they did not try to up sell us on anything. In a families time of grief that can be very disrespectful and the staff understands that. Thank you Avenidas. I would recommend your services to anyone. But I hope I never have to.

I don't even know where to start but our entire experience was terrible. We had an appointment, after waiting for 30 minutes a guy said were running behind do you mind if we do this out here. ( in the waiting room). So the lady that takes care of the bodies came and helped us. She was very nice. When we got home we looked at the receipt and it was for the wrong person and they were shipping my mom to Mexico . Called the mortuary , he said it was a computer problem. I called a week later to check to see if I could pick up my moms ashes. I was told she was still there and they are waiting on paper work. I did get up set and told the guy we signed all the paper work. He immediately got very defensive and told me to refer to the green folder we got. I tried to explain we never got one, he basically called me a liar . Said everyone gets them, I tried to tell him to go ask that gal that took care of us. He said he will not do that, and I better calm down. I said would you be calm if this was your mother. So he said read your green folder we have 9 days so if you don't like it I will credit your money back and you can bring your mom somewhere else. Which then I got pissed off and asked him what kind of business he is running . He hung up on me, then calls back and tells me to look at my contract . Once again I told him we never got a contract. Anyway my sister contacted John, (who originally talked to us on the phone), they immediately took my mom for cremation and called six hours later to tell us to come get her ashes. Terrible experience to have to go threw when your emotions are already out of control. But to have the owner of this mortuary to talk to a paying customer that way, he should not be in this business . Sent from my iPad

The owner was very very empathetic to our situation. He even said he'd provide a discount. When it all came down to it, no discount happened and he lied about the death certificate being covered in the expenses. He was so loving and caring at first, trying to gain our trust and our money....after we chose the funeral home he was distant and had no care in the world to be as loving as he was before we chose him. There was no communication and the papers were printed wrong for the service so they had to redo them. No add was put in the paper like they said they'd do and they still charged for it. During the viewing of my brother I personally thanked him for "taking care of my brother". He said, " why thank me, its my job". I was sooo sad and upset that he said that. After all the groomng he did to get us, after he got the $$ he was so cold an callous. I will never forget having to adjust my brothers shirt while he lay in the coffin. It look like they had just put it on and didn't care. I had to pull down his shirt and move it around his arms, while they were stiff and cold, just to make it look presentable. My brothers fingernails were dirty, they didnt clean them, and the inside of his ears were blue, no make up. Worst funeral home ever. We could have went with a better one for 500 dollars more. I wish we chose the better one. This place was a joke

I Had a funeral service at your chapel a few months ago and i was very displeased my mother did not look like her self but more like a clown her make up was outrageous!!! it was the worse feeling in the world , Not only was my service ended early but the pastor was late and me and all my loved ones waited by my mothers grave site for the longest until he actually appeared. My day of grieving turned into something worse thanks to your staffs lack of care toward my family and i.
