The untimely death of my father had me in shambles. My brother and I had gone all over the city trying to find a proper establishment to handle my father's final arrangements. Upon touring and interviewing many funeral homes I must say that once in the presence of Mr. Jelks and his lovely family, I knew that my father would be in good hands. They embraced us with compassion, genuine sympathy and love. They were so nurturing each step of the way and I couldn't be more grateful. Mr. Jelks, family, and staff made us feel like family, even Mr. Jelks himself delivered a powerful prayer right before the memorial adjourned. It was a beautiful service in such nice facility and lovely chapel. Though It has been a difficult grief filled six months I wanted to take time out to thank Mr. Jelks Funeral Home for everything that you'll did from preserving my Dad's remains, preparing such lovely programs, and for gifting me the beautiful memorial pillow.
