This place is the best. The staff are friendly. They have a lovely waiting room stocked full of fun stuff like teas, chocolate, vitamin lozenges, and an extraordinary young living essential oil display case. Brian is so professional and extremely knowledgeable of the body. This of course made for the best massage I've ever had and then ten times over again. I really love this place!!

My wife and I have had massages at many locations throughout the state. If we're lucky, one of us will get a good massage but the other won't. This is the first time in a long time we both received great massages at the same place at the same time. Brian did an outstanding job with my massage, which included isometric stretching. My wife said Corinna gave her an excellent massage as well. Although we didn't qualify for the intro massage at the discounted rate (because we live more than an hour away from the studio) their regular rates were reasonable. There's no doubt we'll come back here the next time we're in La Crosse.

I would highly recommend Christine at Balanced Bodywork Massage Therapy. I have had several massages with Christine over the past several months, all of them wonderfully relaxing and beneficial. I tend to have a lot of tension in my shoulders and upper back. She has always taken the time to ask what specific areas I would like her to focus the massage on. I also look forward to choosing an essential oil that she incorporates into each massage.I appreciate that every massage is tailored to my specific needs. Christine thoroughly demonstrates her knowledge of the body throughout the appointment. She has provided me with helpful stretches to do throughout the day to reduce tension in my shoulders. I have learned how to better manage tension with Christine's help.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE!! This business just tries to sell you all this other stuff like essential oils and bath salts! Jen and Lindsey are unprofessional. I submitted a follow up survey they emailed to me, as well as a text rating survey, and have received ZERO follow up a MONTH later. The business obviously doesn't care, they already got my money. First, their homepage of their website has a pop up and a banner across the top that claims a new client special of $59 for an hour. I made my appointment through that link then after the massage, Jen said it $65 and they haven't been able to get that off their website... UMM NO. Then tried to blame me that I didn't clear my cookies... THIS IS NOT THE CUSTOMERS PROBLEM. IT'S NOT ABOUT THE $6, IT'S ABOUT MISREPRESENTING YOUR SERVICE. FIX YOUR FRICKEN SITE OR HONOR THE DISCOUNT!! I was also called to reschedule my appointment because they wanted to fit another appointment in. Why don't you have the website show timeslots that take into account the length of the appointment so you don't end up with a 30 minute gap and then have to ask customers to reschedule? Seems simple to me. I called back and rescheduled and they didn't even say thank you. Yet they're all worried and have multiple warnings about if customers miss their appointments or need to reschedule. There's a review here that mentions being sent from Breidenbach Family Chiropractic, and the business responded with a thank you. Yet when I told Jen I go to Breidenbach she looked at me like I was from Mars and said she's never heard of them with a rude attitude. They are one of the largest groups of chiropractors in town and are right down Rose Street. The therapist was Lindsey and she was a recent graduate and even told me how Globe University went out of business. I TOLD HER I GET MIGRAINES AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN WORK ON MY HEAD OR NECK!! She got to my shoulders and since she wasn't managing her time, she just says, "Well I guess we're out of time..." She was very generic and didn't work on the areas we discussed. Extremely frustrating. She was chatty talking about herself and the massage felt like nothing. I asked multiple times for more pressure and she couldn't or just didn't want to. It literally felt like nothing. Stop worrying about offering 50 essential oils and bath salts. I don't want to be up sold. Focus on therapists that give a decent massage with some actual pressure. Finally, the unprofessionalism continued when paying. Jen, the receptionist, asked me how much of a tip I'd like to leave with Lindsey standing right behind the counter. How awkward... I've never been anywhere where they ask you to say your gratuity verbally. Just print a receipt and I'll write it down and sign. Very unprofessional. I still tipped, but I will never be back and I will tell others to stay away.
