This is the best massage I've had. I had some strange, almost debilitating, pain crop up suddenly in my traps/neck area to the point that I couldn't check my blind spot. I went to Andrew Hoilman after three weeks of having said pain. The location is fairly easy to find, I like the no nonsense check in. The atmosphere, which I wouldn't normally care about, was simple, soothing, and relaxing. I was a bit anxious at first having a male masseur, but Andrew was fantastic. He was very professional the entire time, asking me about my pain and really zeroing in on the parts that needed focus, without neglecting the rest of my body. Beforehand he explained to me his technique, so I knew exactly what to expect. He gave me several recommendations to help ease the pain that, combined with the phenomenal 90 minute massage, have effectively relieved it completely. Will be back again!

This place is awesome. My massage therapist Michael R is the best around. He does a great job at addressing my concerns/problem areas around my neck and back. He is very well educated in the anatomy of muscles and nerves -so translation- he knows his stuff and how to address trigger points etc. Not only is he always in a good mood, he is very professional and kind. He remembers every concern I have. He also gives great advice. I enjoy seeing him regularly because I know I will get results. He is a wonderful therapist and I recommend him to anyone who needs lifelong care.

Went back here for the first time a month ago. I have been to some other places to try to find a better price, but for the money RVA Massage is the place to be. Stacey was awesome! She sat and went through my history and gave a great massage! Will be going back as soon as I can!

RVA Massage and Wellness volunteered their time to provide massages after the Instant Classic trail marathon this past weekend (16 March 2013). The masseuse who worked on me was professional, responsive to my needs, and thorough. I was completely drenched from running the full so he covered me with a warm blanket to keep warm. I was very sore with limited range of motion so he worked slowly to loosen me up and eased off when I winced from too much pressure. I've had massages after races before but those didn't compare to the massage I received on Saturday with this group. Thank You!

I have been going to Stephanie (the owner) for almost 2 years now. When I first started seeing her, I had been dealing with chronic back problems for over two years. Massage therapy by Stephanie was the first thing that ever actually helped my back. It was amazing to be pain free for the first time in so long. Thanks to Stephanie, I was able to get back into running again. During a trail run one day I did something to my Achilles tendon. The doctor said I had micro tears in it and needed to lay off for a while. I had a massage session a few days later and my Achilles still wasn't doing any better. Stephanie worked her magic on it for maybe 5 minutes and it was like new and I haven't had a problem with it since. I completely recommend Stephanie and the therapists who work with her to anyone, regardless of the type of massage you are looking for. Due to traveling, I have sometimes had to go to other massage therapists and I have never had one as good as Stephanie
