I have been to Renee's beautiful studio several times for a massage and it is always a treat. Her studio is serene and calming with soothing music and a pot of ginger tea ready. Renee always makes me feel like she has all the time in the world - just for me. She starts by asking how my body is feeling so she knows what to emphasize. I love the hot and cold stones and other special touches. She is a gifted and attentive massage therapist. I highly recommend her.

I was so happy to finally book a massage/healing session with Renee. I had been feeling very imbalanced for a long time and needed a self-care boost. Her presence was calm and inviting and I felt that I was truly being taken care of. She let me know what she was going to do during the session and maintained soft verbal communication with me throughout so I knew what was going to happen next. Her studio is beautiful with very a natural and organic essence that feels very refreshing. I've begun a series of massages based on a recommendation from my Periodontist(!) to work on problems with stress. Renee responded to my description of the work that I needed, used the chair because of some sinus issues, and communicated with me about the effectiveness of the massage, what she was doing, and how I was feeling. This is just the kind of "guided massage" I was looking for to deal with specific stress and tension issues. It's helping already, and I'm looking forward to additional sessions to work on these goals. Renee is a thoughtful, skilled and supportive therapist.

Renee's studio is in a very private location. It is most welcoming with it's brand-new-clean, relaxing atmosphere. You enter into a cozy consult space with a big comfortable chair and water waiting for you while Renee asks multiple questions and takes notes to really understand and remember your condition. Renee is very professional and she focuses on exactly what you need most. The music adds to the blissful experience and Renee's concern for your comfort is evident. That cozy chair welcomes you again for your post-session consult with water and/or tea for your nourishment. Renee offers life strategies to ease discomfort between sessions, which have been really helpful. "Healing Arts" is a truly accurate description of what Renee does.

I went to see Renee for my neck pain. I was hurting really bad. I found her on line made an appointment that day and was able to accommodate me. I already had a chiropractic treatment a few days before seeing Renee and I thought I could benefit from a deep tissue massage. Even though my pain did not go away completely she did help me. When you get to her treatment room she has hot tea ready for you. The treatment room is very clean, calming and you will feel relax. I decided to see her again for more treatment. I highly recommend Renee.

Thank you, Renee, for 3 excellent sessions. There is a lot that impresses me about your work. For this review I must point out the amount of time and care taken before the massage. (Including notes!) Establishing familiarity is very good, and all the attention to detail informed the course of the full hour on the table. It also helps that, along with listening - and tapping into areas that need attention as you work - that you are familiar with a few modalities, thus integrating other energetic therapy forms into the massage. I appreciate the slight wander off the beaten path, up into the woods, that precedes a visit to Renee's studio -- prelude to a real treat. Her place is very charming, clean and neat. Unpretentious, yet lots of small touches that suggest all the thought that she puts into her labor of love: soothing decor, linens, music, sumptuous oils, warm stones, etc. She listens very carefully and spends plenty of time assessing your needs. She is very receptive to feedback, and also rather intuitive. She is truly a warm, generous soul and a pleasure to chat with about all manner of things. After a second round of battles with a persistent back injury I had the opportunity to have some therapeutic work done by Renee. The massage was fantastic and very thorough. She was super responsive to my requests for more or less pressure as specific trouble spots required. The entire experience was quite relaxing and very effective for pain relief. I highly recommend Renee - I was visiting the area and because I had a chronic pain in my back and arms flair up so I looked up massage near Woodford and was lucky enough to find Renee! I only intended to have one session, however, because she was so good, I booked a series. I'm now back home and really glad that I did the series. Even after 3 days of driving, I'm feeling great! In fact, the series reversed the challenges and each day now all I need is a few simple stretches and I'm feeling better and better (compared to the pain getting worse every day). Thank you Renee!
