In 2007 a full spine MRI revealed 7 bulging discs. After traction and therapy I started seeing Lisa for massages regularly in 2008. My back and neck are doing so much better now. I love deep massages and not only was she up for the challenge of my super tense back, and rocked it! I was grateful for her skills and I left feeling so much better. I was in serious pain before going and though I'll need a few sessions to get where I need to, my session was just what I needed and it was a huge relief to get that help. The office itself was great and pleasant. I missed the turn, so keep an eye out for the drive! : ) Once you pull-in it's easy to park and find with great signage, etc. The location is in an office building with a sign to go downstairs (well-lit, professional space) and there is a nice, relaxing waiting room. Great experience!

Lisa is an awesome therapist!! Ask for Deep tissue massage combined with ashiatsu massage(she uses her feet while holding onto bars over table). The cold stones were very soothing for my angry muscles ( as Lisa calls them) in my shoulders and back. She has given me more relief from my pain after 2 appointments than 6 weeks of chiropractic care. Deep tissue massage is not fluff and buff massage remember to breathe and go to your happy place. Looking forward to my next session.

My husband and I came to Canyon Gate Massage a few days ago for the first time and we were not disappointed. The prices are awesome and the service was fantastic. When we pulled in I was a little spooked by the location. The office is around back and then you have to go down into a basement which also houses a call center. However, I immediately started Googling and with such great reviews, I figured I would give it a chance and I am super glad that I did. The owners are super friendly and the office was clean and calming.

I loved this place! It's a little small, but it gives a cozy feeling. I was nervous about seeing a male massage therapist for the first time, but he was incredibly professional, and very knowledgeable. I appreciated that he helped me understand what habits I had that were causing my pain and massive knots, and that he gave suggestions on combating some of it. I had intense pain earlier that day from over-working, and bad form in my morning workout, and I felt incredible afterward. It was a great price, and I will definitely be back!

I love this place, and especially getting a massage from Lisa. She's brilliant! I've been a couple of times since I've been pregnant (the last time I was 37 weeks along) and she did an amazing job of taking care of me so I felt comfortable while getting some of the stiffness in my back worked out. My husband, who has immense tension in his back and shoulders, has also been to see Lisa several times and she is always able to help him. On top of that, she and her husband are great to talk to. Definitely our favorite place, and one we would recommend!

This place is very accommodating. My friend and I had massages scheduled elsewhere but the morning of, after I had confirmed, they called me 10 mins later to cancel. Of course, I was calling so many other places to book an appointment. Daniel at Canyon Gate told me they had one opening and could maybe call one of their usual clients and move things around. LIFESAVER! They got us in same day at the same time, so ten million stars for that. However, it wasn't the best massage I've had, but it was decent. That's why the four stars, but that doesn't mean I won't go back :)

I got an appointment for a Sunday, which is shocking that they were even open. I was greeted right away and it was a very relaxing vibe. After filling out new patient form, I barely had to wait to get my room ready. Lisa really tries to get to know you but I was just too relaxed and fell asleep. I felt like she really targeted the pain causing my headaches, definitely coming back for more sessions.

I've been going to Lisa for over 2 years now. I have chronic neck pain and it will spasm to an 8 on the pain-scale pretty quick. I've been able to get into her last minute and walk out a new woman! I also recently started getting Ashiatsu from her and it is incredible. The shoulder and neck work she's done on me has greatly reduced the amount of neck spams I get. In fact, I don't think I've had one since I started getting ashi a few months ago! She's also worked on my hip that's been bothering me for years and she has relieved a lot of tightness and tension. Not only is she a great massage therapist, I absolutely love chatting with her. If you're not a chatty person, she's totally cool with that too. It can be overwhelming finding a good massage therapist, but I can promise you won't be disappointed!

I booked an appointment with the only therapist available at the time, his name was Micha. Micha did such a fabulous job! Not only was his massage on point...he was professional, he followed through with what I asked for and was attentive to my needs. If you are looking for a good massage therapist in the Orem area, I highly recommend giving him a try. The only improvement that I could have suggested was the temperature of the room. It was a touch on the chilly side but then again I am always cold.

I woke up to a migraine this morning with pain at a nine out of ten. So I was basically useless all day. I was able to pull myself out of my migraine enough to call Canyon Gate hoping that they had an opening today and they did, 20 minutes from when I called. I almost cried with relief. I got there and they were so welcoming! I had explained my migraine and that I also was allergic to all scented oils/lotions, so Ben just grabbed an unscented lotion-problem solved before it was even a problem! Sherylin was my massage therapist and focused solely on my back, shoulders, neck and scalp. It was a super deep massage since that what I needed and she was able to ease up on a few areas that were tender. I walked out of there WITHOUT a migraine after Sherylin finished my massage. If you suffer from migraines, and are trying to work one out when they are open- go. I would still have a migraine (mine typically last 8-24 hours) but it was gone within the hour that she was working on me. Really reasonable price, $49 for the hour, but honestly priceless to get rid of a migraine for me.

EDIT. Canyon view, yes I was a customer. I am sorry I had to lower your perfect rating, but I was just sharing my experience. Instead of bashing me, you should have reached out to me. I have had many massages and this by far was the WORSE I have ever had. I had heard amazing things, and saw the amazing price so I decided to give it a go. When I first arrived to the place, it had super fu my vibe, not relaxing at all. I explained where I had the most tension. She did not touch that area once. She was way to rough. I asked her several times to be more gentle. The message made things a lot worse. If you want a peaceful environment and feeling happy and relieved. Go somewhere else, it is not worth your money or your time.

I went here about a month ago just wanting a relaxing massage because I'd just had a baby. Instead, I got a massage therapist who talked the whole time and didn't listen to my request for lighter pressure. It hurt so bad! I came home almost in tears because I hadn't been able to relax at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My massage at Canyon Gate Massage is one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’ve never really had a massage, but my sister raved about how they made her feel and because I was having back trouble, it seemed like the time was right. Lisa was amazing, professional, competent, and helped me feel comfortable. Overall it was one of the best things I’ve done for my muscles, joints, and ligaments. Lisa was knowledgeable and helped me identify places on my back and neck that were very tight. I am a biology professor and it was clear she knew what she was doing and had a great understanding of muscle and tendon structure. I think the most telling thing was the effect. I’ve felt better for days and recognize that I should have been doing this long before now. I’m going to be a regular! It was truly amazing.

Esther is amazing. Very personable and good at catering to the needs of her clients! There was a miscommunication, however, with the person I spoke with on the phone to schedule my appointment as I thought I was getting a massage for 39$ for my first time but "after hours" are 10$ more.

I saw this company on Groupon and decided to do a bit of research. Turns out their pricing is great and I just avoided going through Groupon all together! Lisa was my masseuse and I can't say enough about how amazing she was! I felt comfortable and assured that she was going to do a killer job. I have lower back problems and needed this massage not for relaxation, but for relief. She was able to not only help my back, but explain what she was doing, how it was going to help and what I should do to continue finding relief! I will absolutely be returning for a few more sessions!
