What great massages! I brought a friend with me last time and he says he'll be going back too. I used to be a regular customer of Massage Envy and they are okay to good, but Donelson Massage employs more experienced therapists and has equally comfortable rooms. I won't be going anywhere else in Nashville now that I've found them. 5 stars!

My original review was five stars but it didn’t do this place or my regular LMT justice. That said, Donelson Massage Center (DMC) has exceptional staff, great reciptionists, a relaxing and peaceful environment and every therapist I have visited has listened and been top notch. One in particular stands out for me. Manda is the best LMT I have frequented in a long time. I’ve had a few regular LMTs I used at prior facilities because I like to go to someone where I don’t have to restart or reexplain my muscle problems every session. Since becoming a member of DMC in early January (great discount and no risk for membership btw) I’ve been seeing Manda weekly (during the worst period) or bi-weekly for about a quarter now. She always remembers my problem spot, but also always asks where I want focus for that session. She has truly helped me regain full range of motion in my left shoulder that had become so bad I could not sleep on my side anymore. Others I have seen when I couldn’t get into see Manda and was in dire straits and who are also exceptional in their own right is Svtlana and Tabitha.

I tried this place out, randomly, in attempts to get a massage at the last minute. Usually all of the best places are booked up weeks in advance, so I was not expecting a 5 star massage. To my pleasant surprise, when I went in for my appointment yesterday, I received by far, the BEST massage I've ever had!!! The massage therapist was very attentive to all my needs and worked well with me to ensure that I was comfortable. I left there feeling 100% rejuvenated almost immediately after my first session!!! Highly recommended!! Will definitely be back very soon!

They have an easy online scheduling system and pretty good availability with lots of different therapists. It's also worth noting that they're open pretty late so people can get in after work.

Pick another place. I didn't like the place, it was old and felt out of date. Not the feeling you want from a spa to relax. Wasn't offered a drink, do yourself and could not get any hot tea. Told therapist what I needed and didn't get it. Your better off to go elsewhere and pay for service worth your money.

I appreciated how relaxed I felt from the time I walked in the door to the time I got home and settled in for the night. The whole ambiance from the music to the interior design to the scent wafting through the air the was lovely. My massage therapist, Freddie, was incredible. I received, hands down, the best message I've ever experienced from him. He hit all the target points I asked him to with the perfect amount of pressure. He did an excellent job making sure I was relaxed and felt comfortable through the entire massage. The table was nice and warm, and the music was entrancing. I woke up this morning still feeling relaxed and relieved of the pain and tension I had been holding. Special shout out thanks to Freddie, but the entire staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I will certainly return again soon for another session!

I got an appointment for an hour and a half massage less than 3 hrs before the appt. In other words, they can accommodate you on short notice. The building isn't new, and the carpet looks a bit worn. That's the closest to criticism I can get. The pace has very nice fixtures and is well set up. The waiting area is really nice, with very comfortable leather chairs. The staff is very nice, and the pre-massage paperwork is kept to a minimum. My therapist covered everything beforehand, and was extremely descriptive and pleasant, a consummate professional. It was an excellent massage, and she adjusted the the pressure to suit what I needed and could tolerate. If you want a nice, feel-good massage (a la Massage Envy), they can do that. If you have a muscular issue that needs serious work, they can take care of that as well. The price seemed competitive with other massage places, perhaps a little lower. In short, it was very convenient, it was a nice place, and I got a great massage for a VERY reasonable price. I was extremely pleased, and will be back soon

He was great at real deep tissue massage, and working on my problem areas. Also helped that he had a great and hilarious personality. I unfortunately stopped coming because I moved out of state. If you like deep tissue/firm massages, Peter is the BEST!

I went here for the first time on Friday (July 6th) and I will DEFINITELY come back!!! Donelson Massage Center was recommended to me by my coworker/friend. I was in so much pain on my upper body, mainly my neck and shoulders. Freddy was my masseuse and he was AMAZING! He focused on my tension areas and put the exact amount of pressure on all pressure points. I walked in there feeling so tight and in pain and walked out feeling like a brand new woman. I loved the fact that they had availability and I didn’t have to wait months to get in. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Professional service, friendly employees and a relaxing atmosphere.

Donelson is not the most fanciest neighborhood but its a nice, safe community and Donelson Massage Center makes it a pleasure to visit. I saw a gentleman name Josh and he was amazing! The therapist told me that I didn't have any problem areas in my back. I told him that my back was where I had issues. He proceeded to just massage my shoulders while I was ON MY BACK. He didn't listen to my needs and acted like he didn't want to do the massage at all. The receptionist was very nice.

Had a good 60 minute deep tissue massage with Josh. Like usual, I feel asleep during a deep tissue massage. When I left, I definitely felt relaxed. The center could use a little updating, but the selection of staff and massage types was well worth the visit. My only complaint, which is entirely my fault, is not asking for more pressure during the massage.

Touch and intuition are extremely difficult (if not impossible) skills to teach a massage therapist. Some therapists have one, but not the other. Some have neither. Derrick at DMC has both, along with great professionalism, awareness, power, and technique. Best massage I've had in a very long time. Also, the facilities are clean, quiet, and convenient. Go!

First I’d like to state I’ve had ALOT of massages, I use to work for a spa so I have very high expectations. I also had a back injury 4 years ago, so I try spa treatments to help with the pain but often disappointed, this is why this review is very important. I am now pregnant which brings even more back pain. Rose was my therapist and I haven’t felt so amazing in years. I feel “normal” again and I can’t thank her enough, she’ll never know what she’s done for me in an hour, she’s been able to take old pain and new pregnancy pain away. I’m sure it’ll come back but for now I get relief. Natalie was my husband’s massage therapist, and he also commented that she was able to help him as well. If we lived in Nashville we would have signed up for a membership. When you go you must request Rose and Natalie. Thank you ladies!

I called to schedule and I wanted an appointment fairly quickly and was surprised that they could work me in within the hour. I saw Jill and she was amazing! At $49 for the hour you cannot beat that price anywhere. I was so impressed with their service that I decided to join their silver wellness program.

I wanted to book a massage due to horrible pain, I got stuck at a doctor's office and wouldn't be able to make it in time. For a one-time cancellation, they WOULD NOT wave the $49 cancellation fee. Never have I experienced this. Also, I got conned into a membership previously, only to find out the masseuse I went to only works 2 days a week and is nearly impossible to see. I looked for several appointments, they were all with males which I don't want. For $49 a month, you get about $15 off a massage. NOTHING ELSE. So the membership is a complete rip off, you are paying $49 a month to get $15 off a massage PLUS you have to pay for that massage!! So $98 a month but it would only be $60 something if you DIDN'T purchase a membership. Again, what a CON! Donelson Massage Center has a terrible business practice.

I've went to Donelson Massage Center before when they were at their old location and had a great experience. But I love the new and improved location. Great rooms, lighting, and overall ambiance. Friendly, unpretentious staff and the owners are great. It was super easy to book online as well! Jack was great. It was the first time I've went to him. He started with some great compression techniques and it felt like he really took his time. When I go to other places I always write stuff down under "problem areas" but they seem to always ignore it. I have problems with my low back and sciatica and Jack paid attention to my requests to work on those areas. It definitely helped loosen those spots up and relieve tension so I could be ready for my workout the next day. I'll definitely go back, it was a great massage! Ditch Massage Envy and support your small local businesses that deserve it like Donelson Massage Center.

I scheduled a massage for my husband with Jerri based on a recommendation from a friend and scheduled one for myself with Josh based on online reviews. I couldn't have made a better decision! We both enjoyed our massages so much. My husband does very physically demanding work and he has gone on and on about how he feels like a new man after his massage with Jerri. Josh gave an excellent massage, as well. Just the right amount of pressure and it was sooo relaxing. We'll definitely be back.

Great Experience . I needed a massage fix and the person at my chiropractor was out of town. I scheduled very easily and I was able to request someone with cranio sacral and lymphatic experience for a next day visit. Yovi the LMT was/is AWESOME - she listened to my needs and quickly came up with a massage plan and executed incredibly well. She has mad skills and diverse fully trained skill set. As a result I scheduled another visit and am very, very happy with the level of service, professionalism and friendliness at the Donelson Massage Center. Its a nice gem in Donelson.

A great affordable massage destination. There is a very relaxing and calm environment here. They offer couples massages as well as individual ones. You can have a 2 hour massage for a very good price. They offer a questionnaire at the beginning of the massage so that you may customize your needs. I was impressed with this feature. They also sell biofreeze and other essential oils.

Had my first massage here today with Josh, and was thoroughly impressed. Very responsive, courteous and accommodating during the booking process. We were a group of four so it was tough to schedule. The facility is very nice, convenient location. It is in a weird little strip mall, but don't be put off by that! I was very impressed with Josh. It was immediately apparent that he is knowledgeable and experienced. I had an extensive amount of knots in my shoulders so he suggested we work on just my back for the first half hour. Great pressure, great conversation, very thorough and attentive. I wish I lived in Nashville because I would definitely come regularly!! Very affordable but excellent value! Experienced therapists who take pride in what they do! 10/10!

OMG! My sweet boyfriend got us a couples massage as a surprise gift for my birthday. All I knew is we wouldn't have our children with us and he told me about a week or a little over that I didn't need to make plans for this day and time. We arrived and we're treated very professional, shown the needed areas and weren't seated but a minute when our masseuses came to get us! This was the most delightful and relaxed experience! I was astonished at how wonderful the masseuse was as I had expected someone scared to get down and get deep in the knots and muscles. I was horribly wrong and so pleased! Great place! Can't recommend them high enough!
