Came for my first appointment that I setup over the phone and later confirmed via text and the door was locked. Nobody answered when I called either. Awesome use of my time! Edit: Owners offered free make up appointment. Everyone I've spoke to here seems really nice and professional.

I received a deep tissue massage a week ago and I have never felt better. Justus, the business owner and massage therapist, did an amazing job. He was very caring and listened to my needs. This was not just a massage session, this was massage therapy. After only the first visit my flexibility has increased and I have been able to sleep better. Justus takes pride in his business and his therapists that represent him. I will definitely be returning! I look forward to seeing the long term effects of massage therapy.

Possibly a scam. Hoping we didn't lose $200. Found them on groupon so called to ask questions. Ended up being persuaded to buy a new client 4 hour pack for $200 for my husband and I because whoever was on the phone sounds like he knows what he's talking about. We scheduled a couple's massage for that following Sunday. Come Sunday we drive out an HOUR out to Edmond but are called and told that one of the therapists wasn't there so only one of us would be able to get a massage. Obviously we asked for a refund but they offered to give us 2 extra hours so we rescheduled for that following Sunday. We left out of state the Wednesday before the appointment and made sure to cut the trip short so we could be back in the state for the appointment. This time I called them about 2 hours before our appointment to make sure we would BOTH be seen and was assured that everything was in order. We drive out to Edmond, have a bit of trouble finding the place so we call them about 25 minutes before our scheduled appointment to ask how to arrive and I am given the news that, again, only one therapist was available and would only be able to see one of us. We are supposed to get a refund but we shall see if it ever comes in. We are extremely disappointed because we were really looking forward to the massages.

This is an edit of my original review. With the original visit there was a hiccup that had me leaving a 1 star review. I was not kind albeit honest in my first review. The owner took the comments and promptly attempted to correct the issue. Sometimes the value of a company is not whether or not it makes mistakes, but how they correct them when they come up.The issue was resolved and when we finally got our massage it really was one of the best massages we have had.

Wow, talk about an amazing massage! I purchased a groupon for a couples massage for my husband and I and Phoenix Medical Massage Therapy did not disappoint. Justus and Brenda are both wonderful massage therapists who are very professional, knowledgeable, and skilled in their discipline. Our specific needs were addressed and we left feeling so relaxed. I am definitely looking forward to a return visit.

I purchased a Groupon for a couple's massage here, and loved the experience. First off, the Groupon was a great deal, about half off the original price. Second, the Edmond location that my girlfriend and I scheduled our appointment at was very nice and clean. Justus was my masseur, and he was super friendly and attentive to my specific massage needs. I had some deep tissue work done, and Justice's hands worked their magic. It was pretty intense, but I had a lot of tension built up. They make a point to ensure that you feel comfortable and relaxed the entire time. All in all, definitely go here if you're looking for a quality and enjoyable massage.

Phoenix medical massage is the most personable massage I've ever had.Justus and his team are very warm and welcoming to their customers. Romeo was very good about asking for feedback throughout the massage which made it easy to have a massage experience custom designed for my body. Justus is very helpful and prioritizes the comfort and individualization of the experience of his customers. A great place if you are experienced with massages and know exactly what you want or just trying massage for the first time. Also, easy to find and very convenient location in Edmond.

I went to the location on N. May. It was my first ever massage, and I'm a larger girl, so I did a lot of research before coming here. I finally booked my appointment for the next Friday, and looked forward to it that whole week. When I finally got there, I got a little lost because I didn't see a sign, but there was a real nice guy out front, that I assume works for them and was just on break or something (he talked like he worked there). Anyway, for those of you coming to this location, it's in a strip mall, and the sign you'll need to look for is APEX Medical. They're partnered with them to have them do the chiropractic work, so it's in the same building. Now, back to the experience. I was greeted at the door by Justus, the owner, and the person doing my massage. He asked if I had any problem areas, and I told him about the area under my shoulder blade just constantly hurting. I turned around so he could feel where it was, and he said he'd know a little more when we got in there, but the massage I signed up for (hot stone) probably wouldn't make it go away. He said he'd check more when we got in the room, but if it didn't, he'd give me the one he figured I needed for no extra charge. I wound up getting a sports massage with stretching because my entire shoulder area was just incredibly tight. It's a little sore today (the day after), but I have some more appointments to help work it out some more. Justus was very knowledgeable and I'm glad he took the time to figure out what was going on and make a recommendation that would be better than a simple hot stone massage. After feeling how tight and worked up my entire shoulder area is, a hot stone never would've cut it. I also appreciate how he did not make me feel like my weight was an issue. As a fat girl, I was concerned coming in to get any massage, no matter where I went, that it would be just another place where I would have to feel like I wasn't good enough. I never felt like that here. It made for a truly relaxing experience. I look forward to my next one (even if my shoulders DO need considerable work).

We just recently had a couple's massage at Phoenix Medical massage this weekend and it was amazing! Justus was very professional, personable, and really knows how to read the body! I am basically a big ball of tension from the stress of our upcoming long distance move, among other things and after my hour was up, my husband had to coax me off the table I was so relaxed. Coming from a massage background, I personally find it hard to relax fully while getting bodywork because I find myself trying to figure out what techniques my therapist is using...or going through what specific muscles they are massaging and what others muscles I can feel being affected. Justus, though, he had me almost falling asleep. When you book your appointment, I recommend at LEAST a 90 minute massage. You won't regret it!

I set up a massage for my daughter who was dealing with migraine pain. Justus got her in and the therapist did a great job. I had given him my credit card information to pay for her massage. The next day I called to set up another appointment, this time for myself as I was going to be in OKC. He said he had an opening and that since he hadn't run my credit card for my daughters massage he would run it for both massages. On the day of my massage I arrived at the Del City location, the door was open but no one was there to great me. I sat for about 10 minutes then finally called out. A massage therapist opened her door and said someone would be with me in a minute. By the time someone came in that worked there it was my appointment time. The girl that came in was not the therapist but someone who worked the front desk. While she was very pleasant she regretfully informed me that my appointment was not on the books. She tried calling and texting Justus and the massage therapist. Neither bothered to reply. I tried to call Justus myself and sent 2 texts with no response. Finally about 3 hours later Justus called me to say he was sorry he was sick and failed to set up the appointment. He was trying to get me to reschedule, but I could not. Then I find out that he was well enough to run my credit card for 2 massages, yet was too sick to book my appointment. I found that to be duplicitous. I asked that he please (1) email me a receipt for the initial credit card charge for 2 massages (something that was requested when I booked my daughters massage 4 days prior) (2) refund the charge for the un-fulfilled massage (3) send me an email receipt for the refund. I took him 3 days of excuses of why he wasn't able to do any of that. I finally got it all taken care of 3 days after the failed massage. My daughter got good results from her massage. For that I wanted to give them 5 stars and my business. However, the way he handled my appointment and the credit card billing was disappointing at best. Whenever a business owner give excuses and not service he is trying to make his problems his customers problems....not exactly a good business model.

Now, over two months later no one is there when I arrive at the location and the phone is messed up, you can't get through. Unfortunately people you lost money doing this.

My husband & I had an appointment scheduled for a couples message at the Edmond location and had never used Phoenix Medical before. I read a lot of reviews before picking the place and all of them I read seemed great so we thought we would try it out but, when we walked in I was completely disappointed in the appearance of the place. The lights were all turned out in the hallway and we found a girl to the left of the entrance sitting at a small desk in another room that was very dimly lit that, I could barley see her face at first when I walked in. When I walked back towards the bathrooms there were empty crockpot dishes all over the floor and other items that should have been stored away in cabinets and not all out for everybody to see and one room they had open with nothing in it but, a huge mound of sheets and towels all over the floor. I wasn't ask to fill out any medical information or anything at all like paper work for liability reasons if needed. I even asked because, I thought that was strange and the lady told me "No, they just orally talk about it first instead because, it's easier. Then they proceeded to take us to a room with two message tables with two sets of random sheets that look less then comforting. And then they both just awkwardly stood there with a pause of silence like they expected to know what was next. So, I then asked them "Okay... What now?" They then said, just get undressed and lay face up on the table. I'm sorry but, for somebody's first visit who's went like ours the first 10 minutes, I wasn't about to get undressed and lay face up under a very thin sheet and feel vulnerable around two people I don't even know. We told them sorry but, felt very weird about the whole thing and walked out. For someone looking for a high quality, professional service that makes you feel like your going to get that from the moment you walk in, this is not the place. It all felt so sketchy and unprofessional!

I am SO frustrated. I purchased a 4 pack of massages from Nick at Phoenix. I have used 2 and now when I call to scheudle none of their phone #s are in service. I have also attempted to e-mail, contact them on Facebook and even stop by the location (no one is ever there). I am basically out $100 and I have no idea what to do.

Three in our family have gotten massages here and all had great experiences! I gave my son and his wife a couples massage for Christmas. Neither had ever had a massage before, they went into it a bit leery, but came out feeling WONDERFUL! My son is a Marine and had been jungle training in Korea so the massage was much needed! After their experience, I decided that I deserved a massage too, purchased a massage package and am getting my 3rd massage tonight. Can't wait! I have an injury to my spine so when Justus starts the massage, he can't even touch the area because it is swollen and very painful, so he works around it. By the end of the massage, he can finally work on that spot without causing pain and I can feel the swelling has gone down dramatically! I can even lay flat on my back after the massages which I haven't been able to do since the injury 2 years ago! AMAZING! And bonus....the owner, Justus is a Vet. What a great way to support our military heroes!

This place is a scam, full of cheats and thieves, I booked an appointment for myself last Friday at 6:45 and no one was there, I just drove by the Edmond location and the location on May avenue and it looks deserted and they most likely have gone out of business. DO NOT GO HERE AND WASTED YOUR MONEY and if you purchased a massage package like I did, it’s most likely that you just wasted your money

For two first time massage goers this was an excellent experience. After looking around online I found a groupon for Phoenix medical massage and saw they had excellent reviews, so I though I would give it a go as a birthday present for my girlfriend. We got a one hour couples massage and set up the appointment for the very next day! When we arrived the therapist were already set up for us, and after a short consultation we got started. The room was clean professional and very relaxing! The two therapists did a great job easing us first timers in, and by the end of our hour I was so relaxed I could hardly stand! They catered specific massage techniques to suit our two very distinct tastes and we loved it! We ended up purchasing an additional hour for next week. These two therapist have set the bar very high for the next to give us a massage!

My husband and I had a couple's massage here yesterday by Romeo and Caleb. We were both extremely happy with the experience. I have had the best sleep tonight that I've had in a long while because of their help. This is not a "spa" experience, this is a MEDICAL massage. There was not water features and aromatherapy scented wraps. Do not expect this. You get a great massage to help your muscles relax, much like going to a chiropractic appointment..... only better. I recommend them for your massage needs.
