OSU STUDENTS BEWARE!! DO NOT GO HERE and DO NOT GIVE YOUR INSURANCE CARD. I was under the impression that I was getting a discounted $15 or $30 massage. Come to find out 4 months later that they have billed my insurance for acupuncture...which I DID NOT EVEN DO and an “office visit”. Now I have OUT OF POCKET costs of almost $200 that I am supposed to pay. As I said before, I didn’t even receive acupuncture treatment, only got a massage. I called the office very upset and they said they would pull my record and give me a call back...I am still waiting. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE! Just find a groupon to go somewhere nice because it will be cheaper in the long run.

I highly recommend Sean. I have been getting massages my entire life and am always looking for someone who can actually do 'deep tissue'. Sean is very knowledgable with anatomy and very skilled in his techniques. It's evident that he has a lot of experience and gives an incredibly solid massage, top to bottom. He can be heavy-handed, but those of us who enjoy deep tissue tend to prefer that over someone who gives a fluff massage. If you are clear with him up front about what you like/dislike, he will honor your requests. He is flexible with scheduling and is occasionally able to accommodate last-minute appointments. If you want a legit deep tissue massage, Sean's the guy.

Saw a coupon on Groupon and thought I'd give it a try. Booked an appointment with Patrick. HE WAS AMAZING!!! I have been getting deep tissue massages for about 7 years now and he was able to get done in an hour what I usually have to book a 90-120minute for. He included a lot of stretching throughout the massage and I really enjoyed it. That being said I prefer more of an intense massage, so if you don't mind a little pain and looking for someone to dig into those sensitive spots for you, Patrick is the guy! Glad I found this place!

I've had the acupuncture by Jin only once so far and my pain is almost gone already. I did't do the massage just because I went to a chinese massage place few months ago and it worsened my neck pain. I told Jin I had neck pain then she found out it was actually my left shoulder that was in pain. After the treatment I could lift up my left arm without pain and noticed my lower-neck pain was gone. She said the pain will come back soon and recomended the treatment a few more times. Few hours later the pain came back a little bit but still has been significantly reduced. I am very happy with the result and would visit a few more times until the pain is completely gone. I also love that they are in the osu health plan network and I didn't have to pay anything out of my pocket.

I went to see Sean to help ease muscle soreness I was having due to a new exercise regiment. I entered the Sawmill Run office which was clean and well lit. I explained to Sean what I hoped to accomplish with the massage. Sean asked me lots of questions regarding my new routine and muscles affected. The massage room was dimly lit and had soothing music. The sheets and massage table were clean and comfortable. The ambiance was very soothing. Any time you get a massage, you are trusting a stranger to touch you in an intimate manner. Let's face it, you are naked under a sheet letting a stranger rub you. At no time did I ever feel uncomfortable with Sean. He was very professional and very careful to make sure I was covered, except for the area he was massaging. Sean made it very clear that if at any time I felt pain or discomfort I was to let him know. He gave me a full massage giving extra attention to the areas I told him about. I did not experience any pain at all. There was some pressure and tenderness where I had strained muscles, but after a moment or two of Sean's manipulations, those areas felt significantly better. By the time he had finished, I was a new woman and practically floated out the door. Sean has competitive prices and accepts OSU insurance. I highly recommend his services and will definitely visit him again.

Sean's hands are like magic. I have tried a lot of different massage therapists, physical therapists, medications etc., but no one helped my stiff neck. His massage may sometimes hurts, but it really works. I can feel the difference after one hour, and it lasts. Even I almost fall asleep and don't say anything, it seems he knows where exactly I feel worst pain. Hot stone is also nice especially in winter. I almost feel sorry for him that he can never experience his massage. This is where I go when I feel pain or I'm extremely tired and need to release overall tension. I really appreciate what he does to help patients. Jin's Acupuncture is also quite helpful.

First things first: The medical massage service itself is great. I couldn't have been happier with the service and the results of therapy that I received. I had misplaced ribs that were painful and after several intense weeks of therapy--no displaced ribs. The reason for the rating however, is due to the terrible business practices and financial accounting. After each visit, I went to pay--each time Jin told me "pay what you want, Sean doesn't care what I charge." I found this odd and kept pressing for my account balance. I was then told a variety of excuses from "I don't know what your insurance covers" to "the computer is not working today due to a power outage". Ok. Fine, I get the insurance part. I paid what I thought was appropriate and then assumed that I would get a bill in the mail for what I owed, as is customary after an appointment for medical reasons. Fast forward several months--I get a call from a debt collection agency wanting 3k for not paying my bill! That's right--NO followup, NO calls, NO mail, NO contact at all from Sean's--direct to debt collection. I would have been MORE than happy to pay if I had only been given the balance of what I owed. Moral of the story: Avoid Jin, and avoid medical massages from Sean's. Only do the payment up-front options, but beware that they might screw you there too.

OSU STUDENTS DO NOT GO HERE! IT IS A SCAM! The place and people who work there are sketchy! The massage therapists are terrible! The massage rooms are cluttered, the music is not relaxing, and the overall environment is weird. They told me that I would get “complementary acupuncture” completely free-no charge and then I get an explanation of benefits that stated I had the patient responsibility of an amount to be paid! They never answered their phone for me to call and argue this. I then receive a call after my review was posted on here of them asking for me to remove my review because I would not be billed. Since I did not remove my review, I then received a text with another message to remove my review. I told them I would report them to authorities if they continued to contact me. Would not recommend to anyone! Go somewhere else! Do not waste your time!!!

Bought a Groupon and booked the massage online. 30 min before appt Sean contacted me that the massage therapist was injured and left early. Acted like he wanted to get me in as soon as possible but couldn't find matching available dates. Said he would look for me. I contacted him a week later to see if any openings since I hadn't heard from him. He asked who I was. I told him and he never responded again. Might as well thrown my money in the trash.

I had a great experience with Sean. I went there with extreme back pain and just within one session the pain was relieved mostly. Nice environment, professional therapist, definitely recommend! As a grad student in OSU, being able to get an one hour massage with only 30 bucks was a great deal to me, and as far as I know this is the only place in town takes OSU student/staff insurance. I saw some reviews complaining about being charged extra, but just based on my 3-4 time visits so far, besides the $30 plus tips paid after each session I haven’t received any extra bill for the massage yet, I do received the “explanation for benefits” lettter from the United Health which shows how much the insurance paid but it’s obviously not a bill. I like this place and think more students should enjoy some decent massage thanks to OSU insurance!

Room was not ready when I entered. Masseuse proceeded to clean the table and place the blankets on once entered the room. Room was not dim and relaxing. Masseuse talked way too much and it was not relaxing. I wanted an hour of massage without holding conversation. The room being near the parking lot and front door caused a lot of added noise that was not relaxing. Masseuse proceeded to tell me I have spina bifida which seemed like an unnecessary medical diagnosis to say mid massage. Especially since I had never been told this ever. Upon completion telling me that Groupon rate does not cover tax and that needed to be paid on top of what was already paid seemed inappropriate. I have purchased many Groupon massages and never had to do that. Over all I did not enjoy my experience and do not plan to return. Not worth the amount spent!!

Sean’s massage place is honestly one of the best places I have ever been to for a massage. I travel for a living and I am in a different state weekly. They were very timely in returning my call, extremely accommodating in my needs with time, schedule and the type of massage I was needing. I get massages weekly because of a back injury...the massage was 1 1/2 and absolutely geared towards my problem areas. I walked out of there with no pain for the first time in 2 weeks. Very impressed with how important the needs of the customer was to the therapist. I will 100 percent be back.

I scheduled a massage for next week, at the Pickerington location, but to my surprise I received a text from Sean stating that he had a cancellation. That was wonderful to hear! I really needed a massage!! It was the best massage I have ever had!!! Sean was great! He was very friendly and knowledgeable!! The heated stones were also helpful in easing my hip and leg pain! I will definitely go back and I definitely recommend for massages!!!
