Highly recommend David Turner for anyone who suffers from TMD. I have been in constant pain and unable to close my jaw for a year. After one session with David I was able to close my jaw and had no pain. ONE session. Something my Dentist, orthodontist and TMJ specialist could not do for me. I recently injured my hip after a lawn chair collapsed underneath me. The muscle would unexpectedly tighten and spasm as I walked which caused severe pain. After just a few visits to Healing Touch, the muscle loosened and the pain was gone. David is a master at "working out the kinks." I highly recommend his medical massage therapy.

So I’m a hairdresser with chronic rhomboid and neck pain. I also lift weights and train consistently in the gym. I’ve been in 2 car accidents, both of which I was rear ended and experienced whiplash. I’ve had a lot of bodywork done including chiropractic work, massage therapy and a little physical therapy. I’ve found nothing as affective as David Turner and Healing Touch Charlotte. I’ve only been seeing him for 2 weeks and I can’t explain how grateful I am to have found him. I literally was in so much pain and decided to research trigger point massage/fascia connective tissue work within the Charlotte area. I found David Turner and liked what I read so I made an appt. All I can say is that he is OUTSTANDING!! I’ve never in my life have ever written a review, this is the 1st time. James Isaac Swindell here, on September 6th 2018 I underwent a Brostrom procedure with a deltoid reconstruction on my right ankle to repair damage sustained for years of ankle sprains through athletics. The surgery was done at OrthoCarolina and was an initial success. I went through the standard rehab offered by OC and was doing well, even running again, then at what was supposed to be my final doctors appointment I was given direct instructions to “go back to doing what you were used to doing”. So with no other context I did just that. On December 20th 2018, I went to Fitness connection and did 7 minutes on level 4 (nothing crazy) on the Stairmaster, because I was told I could “go back to doing the things I was used to doing”. After those 7 minutes my entire foot was severely damaged. So bad that I felt another surgery would have been potentially necessary. I communicated what happened to the Physical Therapist at OrthoCarolina and told them I only did what I was told to “go back to doing what I was used to doing” and from that their attitudes went to HELL. They had no interest in addressing my problems, and lacked knowledge of what truly happened to my foot. OrthoCarolina does not care about its patients not even in PT. So after a return Doctors visit I was told my ankle was in tact but was given ZERO insight on why I was having so much pain. I fired the OC Physical Therapy staff and prayed about it. Then I found David. I sat down told him exactly what happened and he LISTENED to me. He addressed my problem and it became clear I did the right thing by coming to Healing Touch. At this moment in time I have had two sessions with David and I honestly feel better in just two sessions then i did in 2 months with OrthoCarolinas sorry PT staff after my setback which I was given no insight on what to avoid only told to “go back to doing what I was used to doing” which was total BS. Surgery should always be the LAST resort and not every problem is something you can Cut on to fix. I thank God for Healing touch and i will continue to post updates. David has given me HOPE and together I will be able to have a strong healthy foot gain. If I could give this review 6 Stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ let’s keep it up David!

David has been a Godsend for my wife and I (both in our early 30's). We both hit a spell of serious back pain around the same time, and both tried what felt like 15 different treatment methods to attempt to heal. I personally could not sit for more that 3 minutes at time, until David worked the trigger points and now I can sit practically all day. He has been absolutely instrumental in my recovery and my wife credits finding him as THE turning point in her recovery. I think the reason he's so good is that he truly believes this work is his calling (and I agree). There is something special and rare about a person who knows his calling and excels at it. Going to Healing Touch has been the most beneficial therapy for my plantar fasciitis. Physical therapy did not help in the way that therapeutic massage from Healing Touch does. Great people who know what they're doing!
