I have been suffering from stiff neck and painful shoulders for some time now, and the pain can be unbearable at times when I wake up in the mornings. Finally I made a reservation with Fern and she is really a remarkable massage therapist. For a long time I thought my neck and shoulder aches were attributed by my bad posture but Fern accurately pointed out that the pain came from hours of stiff hands typing on the keyboard! Thai massage could be painful at times but I felt totally relaxed after my session with Fern. Definitely will recommend Fern to all my friends and I will go back for more massage session again.

I was in NY for a few days and was in desperate need of a massage after a couple of days and came across Ferns ad on Google and boy am I glad I did. I am a Massage Therapist from Georgia and have had my share of massages, but Fern has to be the best therapist I have ever encountered, aside from myself, but I cant work on myself LOL.Her technique is amazing and refreshing. I have never felt so relaxed and in tune with myself after a massage. I have been told by some clients that they experienced some sort of emotional release after they get worked on, but I have never felt it until Ferns massage. My body felt releases in areas I have never felt before and just felt in tune with myself afterwords. Fern is a very compassionate, knowledgeable and professional therapist and would trust her to work on me anytime. I tried to bring her with me to Georgia so we could exchange weekly, but it didn't work. :( Guess I have to go back to NY for another session Fern. Thank you Fern for your wonderful work. This is an authentic thai massage and it takes me back to the time I lived in Thailand and got them all the time. I like to call it the lazy person’s way of deep stretching and it feels so good. The ladies are amazing and really know what they are doing. They have the original thai massage option which is on the floor and the regular massage options for those who think all massages must be on a massage table. One thing to point out so that people know, in order to get the most benefits from the Thai massage you need to be on the floor with the thai massage therapist. Doing a thai massage on a massage table means you will miss out on the full benefits of the thai massage. It is like no other massage. They only have the massage table because some people won’t get on the floor (there is always a light mat on the floor so you are never on a bare floor). You don’t want to miss out on the full benefits so get on the floor with them. I have been searching everywhere for an authentic Thai massage and I have finally found it. I can’t wait to go back the next time I am in NYC.

One word, WOW. So today I decided to go to my first Thai massage, on my birthday, and I have to say it was amazing. Working in the city with fast pace type of environment, the minute I walked in I felt a sense of tranquility. She was very nice and she sensed how tense I was the minute I walked in. She made feel comfortable and helped to stop and smell the roses, sort of the speak. Appreciating the the little things around you and not just rushing to work, rushing to gym, etc. She even focused a little more on spots that were little more tense than other parts in my body. After the massage, I felt like a new person, REFRESHED. Can't wait for my next appointment!

Went there today as I was quite tense and muscles needed to be massaged deeply. Precious was my masseuse and she did an awesome job. Found the really sore/fatigued spots without my saying anything. Couple of seconds of "enjoyable" pain but man are those areas better. Not sure about you, but I can't sustain the pressure when I use a foam a roller or massage bar....Precious never let up thankfully. Now I'm good as new and ready to attack the gym for another intense program and routine. Will be coming back no doubt!

She knows what she's doing- you tell her what brings you to her and she will work on the part that you've been having trouble. Very very very good massage...You are welcomed by the staff...taken to the bathrooms which are outside the suite and keys are needed and provided...you will be asked to remove your shoes...you will be given a choice of 2 rooms tables or yoga mats...i booked the 90 minute massage which comes with a free 20 minute foot massage while your scheduled massage is taking place for 20 minutes of the 90 minutes you will have a 4 handed massage which will place u in tranquility....$310 for couples thai yoga massage....if u pay cash its $300 , which i did...if you pay credit card its $310....After massage is over u will be given a cup of water and there are sweets offered...after leaving i recieved a pleasant text message thanking me for my participation at there business which was a nice touch....tips were not demanded at all but i gave each masseuse a $20 tip including the lady who did the feet! Will definately return!

What a gem. Fern was able to analyze my issues before even laying a hand on me. She opened my lower back and hips where I didn't even think I had tightness. She also showed my some exercises to do at home to help. The staff here has a most attentive approach and you won't get a "stock" massage. Firm and aware of how far to push. If you were looking for a softer massage you may want to ask first. I like firm massages and this pushed the limits for me but never with alot of pain. The more I breathed in and out (as she instructed) the more I could feel her able to help me work through the discomfort and thus open further. Needless to say I am grateful and will be back.

The stretching and Thai massage, particularly if you elect for the ground-based work on the mats (although they do have tables) is unlike any other massage you’ve ever had. Don’t expect the usual soft, flowing Swedish massage strokes — whatever tightness you didn’t realize you had, these Thai massage experts will stretch, pull, push and use their natural body weight to get a “hurts so good” acu-pressure like experience. Have you ever had your entire leg relaxed and lifted backwards and up by a massage therapist or anyone? Do remember to wear or bring loose, comfortable clothing, because it gets to be a real variety of stretches and maneuvers. It’s not the cheapest but also not the most expensive massage around, but it’s more than a massage — for the best stretch in town, you really can’t beat Thai Massage NYC. At first i thought it was a little pricey but minutes in I realized why it was worth the money. Thai massages are unlike your typical lay down without moving massage. Fern maneuvers your body in positions that really loosen up your muscles and body like no other massage can do. Went to Fern a few days before my MMA fight and the days after the massage my body felt really energized. Definitely recommend seeing Fern for the best massage, Thai Massage.

My first experience with Fern was over the telephone to make an appointment, I felt at ease immediately and knew that I was about to experience a very special massage. I was able to be seen later in the day after my workout, and first timers get 75 minutes. After a discussion on my current health and spirit, Fern sized me up as specialists do. I then was asked to lie down and Fern immediately began to do her expert technique. I work out somewhat hard, and Fern was able to work on my body as it needed. I was able to feel comfortable and relax and work with Fern. My body was very relaxed afterwards, and I walked home like on a cloud. I worked out the next day and felt tremendous.
