When I first purchased the Groupon for this place, it said "must book online using specific website" and then when I tried to do so, the website said "not accepting Groupons purchased after 7/11," so I called the merchant directly. He was very nice and accommodating, apologized for the confusion and scheduled me for an appointment the next day. The place is immaculate, they are licensed and insured, and the massage room was nicely appointed, with lavender scented candles and soothing music, and the most comfortable soft heated massage table! The masseuse who worked on me was very good, she was communicative, and she managed to get to the bottom of the knots and stress points in my back, while being mindful of my hip replacements. The price with the Groupon was great, and they have a membership program where you commit to a massage once a month and then it costs only few dollars more than the Groupon price. I'm glad I found this place, I will definitely be back.

I have been going to somatic spa for over a year now and it is absolutely one of the best spas that I have come across. I have been doing facials for the last ten years and never committed to one person until I met the aesthetician Faiza that works at somatic spa. She is by far the best aesthetician I have had. She pays attention to all your skin needs and really gives you the best treatment you could ask for. She gives you ideal treatment plans to do at home and provides a ton of knowledge when it comes to achieving your best look. She has worked with all skin types and I am completely confident that no matter what my skin is going through she can help make it better. She is wonderful and so is everyone else that works at somatic spa.

The office is hidden in this small plaza but the massage was the best deep tissue I have had. The interior won't wow you as it is more an apartment feel than a spa feel but they make up for it with customer service and professionalism.

I highly recommend going to Angie if you're in any type of pain. After 2 car accidents, I was not sleeping and could barely move without serious pain. Angela warned me that although it would be painful to work thru my muscles, with time I would feel much better. She was absolutely right. I have to admit after crying thru the first visit, I wasn't sure how much I needed these massages. Well AFTER THE FIRST MASSAGE -- I slept a full nights sleep, no tossing no turning, felt more rested than i had in over a year. The first week I showed so much improvement, then the next week, and then by week 4, it hurt less and less...after a few months, i was completely pain free, and back to all my normal activities. I had been doing physical therapy with NO RESULTS anywhere close to this. She is a magician. I adore her. They also take no-fault insurance if you've been in an accident, which is fantastic. Don't be put off by the fact its above a dunkin donuts, which i read about in the reviews prior to going. none of that matters, the staff is wonderful, and you get so much bang for your buck. so worth it. i highly recommend.

I called for an appointment using a Groupon gift. Spent an hour trying to redeem the Groupon. They do not seem to grasp the concept of Groupon. Finally gave me an appointment, then quickly moved it back a week. Awful service. Awful communication.

I had the privilege of being offered a therapeutic massage at the Somatic Massage Therapy, P. C. in New Hyde Park, New York. At first, I was a bit skeptical as I was not sure what would been the result of the massage. Many massage parlours are there and they all offer ‘massages’, sometimes leaving you unfulfilled, at the end of the process, or with more pain than you initially had. I had a swedish massage done, and I must say that as the masseur began his work, I was deeply impressed, because I was beginning to feel the effects of the healing therapy. It was very much soothing to my muscles and to my body as a whole. It was indeed so calming that, at one point during the session, I fell asleep. The masseur, at one point during the procedure, asked me question pertaining to those areas in which I was feeling pain. I responded to his questions, following which he proceeded to massage those areas, dissipating the pain completely. I remember that I had a foot injury in January 2014, this year. I had difficulties in walking properly since then. After this massage, I was and am now able to walk as though I had never had an injury. Further, I had had a severe back pain that was troubling me from months of sleeping on a bad mattress. The masseur, with his magical hands, caused this pain to go away. Isn’t this what we desire when go to a massage parlour? Isn’t this what we crave when we go? Isn’t the idea for us to leave feeling better than when we first entered? I am sure that the response will be affirmative. I encourage one and all to try out the Somatic Massage Therapy, P. C. in New Hyde Park,. New York. It is not just any massage parlour, but one that is distinctive and prides itself on giving the very best attention and service to its clients. It is all about pleasing people, and this is what they seek to do. I am testimony to the fact that the results of the massage are effective, and is therefore worthy of commendation!

I had an amazing experience during my facial with Faiza (8/4/19)! She confirmed that I have rosacea type 1, and recommended products that she firmly believes will help to keep my skin healthy. Somatic Spa was so relaxing, just upon arrival I already felt at ease. The experience was 10/10, but I give a 4/5 star rating because online, it says a facial comes along with a Neck & Shoulder Massage, but I didn't get one, which is a shame because I was really looking forward to it. Nevertheless, I think I will be coming here again.

I have been going to Somatic Massage for a couple of years after finding it through a Living Social coupon. You will not find a more professional establishment: always clean, pleasant, and no nonsense. Just the real deal, with massage therapists like Cameron and Angela, who know what they are doing and know how to treat muscles and body aches. And all of this for a reasonable price, especially when you get one of the package deals! I have gone to so many massage clinics, and Somatic Massage is the best value for your money. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
