Well worth finding this behind Baillo's, I was given good directions. I called on Friday afternoon with a lot of pain in my lower back. America's Massage got me in to an outstanding trigger point therapist who listened to my concerns and worked on every one of them. Members of my family have seen three of the therapists, so far, and I am a "regular" now. Consistently excellent massage therapy, very reasonable pricing and unfailingly pleasant reception staff. America's Massage is terrific. Since moving to Albuquerque a year ago I have had two hour-long massages here, both to treat chronic back and neck pain. The masseuse I had (the same both times) was thorough and professional. She was not afraid to dig deep and break up those difficult knots. Both times I came away feeling great. Of course, no massage fixes everything, but given their low prices and satisfying service, America's is the kind of place I can return to often and feel confident that my money is being well spent.

I've been going to America's Massage since Oct. '06 and have had the same massage therapist, Shane. I can only afford once every 5 or 6 weeks, but I try to never miss because I can count on always feeling better. I have fibromyalgia and Shane has done research and knows how to handle painful areas. Though it's certainly not fancy, it is easily accessible and with the massage wellness plan, pretty affordable for a massage!

I have mixed feeling about this place. The massage felt good when I was receiving it but for the next couple of days after which, I actually was hurting a bit. The massage therapist was not a full licensed practitioner - but instead was a limited license practitioner. The thing that really let the place down was the ambience. The room I was in was way too bright and the worst part was the extremely loud noise being emanated by the air conditioner. The feeling of relaxation was highly muted because of it. I would like to give the place a second chance with a different massage therapist for sure, but still considering other options.

It's not in the best area but you forget that quickly. They were remodeling when I went but it didn't negatively affect me. My therapist did a great job. One of the best massages I have ever had and it lasted the full amount of time. I will definitely go back.

I have been under a lot of stress with meetings,a full time job,and on top of that raising two boys, so finding free time as well as extra cash is an extremely rare occasion. I've had good experiences in the past so i was thrilled to be able to have some "me time" and relax with a much needed massage. During my entire massage i could hear very loud talking ( loud enough to clearly hear multiple topics of conversation). After my massage i realized my room was directly across an office. I was very disappointed i wasn't able to fully enjoy my massage or relax and even more when i told the receptionist my concerns, it was shrugged off like it was nothing and given hardly an apology with no attempt to right the issue. On a good note my massage therapist Lorena was amazing, she really targeted my knots and had amazing pressure control. It would have been a wonderful experience if i was able to truly relax and enjoy.

I scheduled my massage 5 days prior, I had requested a Sat morning appt, I clearly stated my telephone number twice to the receptionist. Come day of, upon arrival I was informed that the therapist had called in sick and supposedly calls were made and vm left asking to reschedule, they had a wrong number. The receptionist offered to reschedule me same day late evening with a male which I did not prefer but I opted not to because of planned activities. I was then offered $5 off my next massage, which was pathetic because I drove 2hrs one way, 4hrs round trip for this massage that never happened. Truly disappointing how these guys treat their customers. If I could give them 0 stars then I would.

I was looking through Groupons and found one for this business. I went in for a massage. I had called ahead for an appointment and had asked if the masseuse did deep tissue massage and was informed that she did. I was also informed that there would be sales tax which was fine. I was escorted back to a room by the masseuse and asked what I was looking for and I said mainly deep tissue on my back and possibly on my calves. She started on my shoulders and then moved to my thighs which was not an area I needed work on. When i mentioned this she was annoyed and informed me she would get to my back when she finished my legs!?!?! She did eventually get to my back and left my left side very sore to the point of my going home and taking 20mg. Flexoril (Cyclobenzaprine) a relatively strong muscle relaxer to relieve the soreness. (This is a LARGE doseage). I was also informed as I was leaving that there would he an upcharge for the deep tissue massage despite this not being mentioned on the Groupon site or by the staff or masseuse at any time until I was about to walk out the door. All in all a very poor experience and I will NOT Abe going back or recommending them as anything other than a place to avoid.

Not your usual run of the mill warehouse massage experience. Although you may be a bit put off by the location, don't be. A lack of glitz and fluff is easily overcome by value and the skill of their therapists. The staff is efficient and friendly. The massage rooms are basic and very comfortable. My wife and I are "massage pigs" and have tried many different locations around town. Be specific on the type of massage you need (deep tissue, relaxation, etc,) and have them match your needs to the therapist. Give them a try.

I have been to several Massage places in the city, from top notch spa's down to schools with discounted massage by students earning hours. I tend to store stress in my neck, shoulders, and jaw which causes stiffness, pain, and bad headaches. America's massage has been the only place with therapists who listen and get to the root of the problem, which in turn brings much needed relief and more energy to function in life without pain. Sara is my normal therapist and is awesome however only works on weekends, so when I needed to get in right away on a weekday I was scheduled with Yvonne who also listened and gave me what I needed. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a massage for relief and not just a lotion application.

My experience has been very good at America's Massage. I have a membership which saved me money from my first appointment. I like the therapists, who have provided great massages. The front desk is well-staffed. My only complaint is that I have been cold there. The rooms could be better heated and the heater, when running, sounds like an airplane, but those are not deal breakers to me.

My massage therapist was Hope, and she gave me lots of it (!) in helping to ease a persistent muscle spasm under my shoulder blade from just sleeping wrong. She spent a full hour working on my back, was responsive and considerate and really wonderful as a healer. My only suggestion to the owner/management is to provide a more pleasant experience through music, aromatherapy and softer lighting.

I had hip surgery and my doctor recommended I see Rebecca at America's Massage to help ease the muscular trauma I was experiencing post-surgery. She is an amazingly skilled therapist that specializes in myofascial release therapy and knows how to work with people who have had surgery (or are injured). I had been doing lots of PT and stretching for three months but was still having a hard time with flexibility, mobility, and with pain. After one visit with Rebecca, my leg muscles relaxed considerably and my mobility improved. I see improvement with each visit. I wish I had gone to her sooner. My insurance does not cover massage so it's all out of pocket. I recommend getting the membership because it drops the cost of each visit. They seem to understand that massage is not always a luxury but a medical necessity and established a system that allows massages to be more financially manageable.

Sharlyne is the person I usually go to because she can really get the deep knots in my back, and she has a great understanding of ways to move the body to release muscle tension (for example, she can move the hips in a way that relieves tight hip flexors). I have always had good experiences here.

I'm from out of town, here on temporary assignment, and was fortunate to find America's Massage, one of the reason I chose them from numerous massage place found online was they were open on Sunday. Suddenly I had very painful sciatica issue and would not be home to get to my usual massage therapist or chiropractor for at least 2weeks. On a Sunday I was able to make a same day appt., about 5 min. after making the appt. the receptionist called me back to say if I went on Group on or Amazon I could save money on my appt, I thought that very thoughtful and helpful, definitely above and beyond in customer service. Within 30 seconds after starting the massage I could tell Kayla knew what she was doing, she focused right in on painful areas, in the end I got a lot of relief and may not even have to go the chiropractor when I get home. I would recommend America's Massage and especially Kayla.

For the past 25+ years, after I was involved in an auto accident, I began getting a massage twice a month. Massage therapy keeps me moving without the use of muscle relaxers and strong medications. When we moved to Albuquerque 6 years ago I was on a quest to find a good massage therapist, at a reasonable fee. I found America's Massage and have been delighted with the service and quality of the massages. Their massage therapists are very well trained and know the finer points of an excellent massage. The staff is pleasant, the massage rooms are tastfully decorated and good size. My choice for a massage therapist is Keith. I've also used Yvonne and Kami and have found them to be very good and I use them if Keith is unavailable.

I purchased a membership and massage from Groupon. Paige, the massage therapist I went to, was amazing! She was especially great at working on areas of tension in my arms. The building isn't much to look at. The rooms are private but noisy; you can pretty much hear everything that is going on around you.

As long as you aren't going for the "full spa experience" what this place lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for in the quality of massage you get. I love that they actually give you a full 60 min massage (rather than a 40 min "one hour massage" at other massage clubs) and actually listen to what I want/need in terms of pressure, location etc. Great experience and great price.

We have been getting massages from America's Massage for about 10 years. My husband and I get our massages monthly and we avoid cancelling for any reason. The therapists are well-trained in medical massage and adjust the therapy to the particular areas that are in need. The prices are reasonable and the facility is spotlessly clean. I have had previous massages for twice the price at fancy spas and have not experienced the healing effects that the therapists at America's Massage have given to me. We highly recommend America's Massage.

This is a hidden gem. I am almost afraid to say to much and I will not be able to get in for an appointment. The establishment is clean and orderly. Even though it just off San Mateo it feels safe and secure. The rooms are organized and the massage therapists are professional. I would recommend this place for a relaxation massage or medical massage for they have massage therapists for all of your needs and requirements.

I was lucky to find America's Massage shortly after moving to ABQ. A Groupon got me in the door, but the high quality massage convinced me to stay. If you are looking for a froufrou spa, this isn't it. If you want a full 60 min massage, for a reasonable price, by a skilled therapist then you have found it. They have long hours and are open 7 days/week and I've found it easy to get an appointment on short notice if needed. My first few massages were good, but not amazing, so I tried a few more therapists. Now Daniel and Melissa are my go-to therapists. Whether I come in requesting "the usual" or describe some new ache or pain, they are always able to provide me with an excellent massage.
