This was my first time receiving a facial and it was ok however on my way out the door, I was bombarded with several questions about whether or not I wanted to sign up for a membership and if I wanted to buy their products which the manager tried to pawn off like they were free. No wants to be interrogated after you've spent $100 to be RELAXED. I'm a nice person so I went along with the sales pitch but I had to cut her short cause I was getting agitated. Before this experience, I had visited 2 massage spas and they DID not do this. I will not be going back. I give the 2 stars for the lady who actually did my facial, that's it.

This is the worst spa ever. I don't recommend anyone to go here. They will charge you extra and never credit you back your money. I had the worst experience here. Never again.

The worst customer service I have ever had. I went in with my cousin for her birthday for a massage and was advised into doing a membership. I made two consistent payment without using any because of family issues that was going on at the time and call them to cancel. I was told that they would put it on hold until everything was settled and I could use the massages that I had paid for. Fast forward a few month I had two more deaths in my father and really just need to deal with that so I called them to cancel. I was told no problem they would cancel and I could still use the sessions I already paid for. Only to have them keep charging my card. When I called the they young lady I spoke to tells me that I would have to fill out a form to cancel. That was the first time I have ever heard of it. I said no problem. Not only did they not send it I had to call again before they would process my refund and then I was told that because they are cancelling my membership that I could not use the sessions that I paid for already. I have asked to speak to the owner... I am still waiting.

5+ I've been getting professional massages for over 25 years and I must say that Kara is one of the best I've ever had!! She gets to know exactly what you're needs are up front, then gives the exact massage that I was looking for and better! When I hurt my shoulder after shoveling heavy,wet snow this winter, I was in constant pain. Kara spent quite a bit of time with me up front finding out where the exact pain was and focused quite a bit of time in that area until it loosened up. She even told me that she wasn't leaving until that part of my shoulder loosened up!! I greatly appreciated that since I had full rotation again after I left for the first time in a month, plus I had no pain there any more!! I would recommend Kara and Massage Envy Parsippany to everyone I know!!

I love indulging in a facial or massage (and often both). I care about great service, and this place hits it on the head. As far as the treatments go, the key is finding someone who's style meets your preferences and sticking with them. I personally prefer Jackie or Chris for massages, and Carlene for facials. Though to be honest, I've never had a bad experience.

I have had massages at this location since it opened. Not only is my therapist excellent, but the front desk staff is more warm and welcoming than at any other Massage Envy location I have visited. Great place!

"Been coming to M.E. for years since it first opened. Found the parsippany location and all the therapists are wonderful. They listen to my problem areas, and truly make a difference in my body and mind feel when I leave. I have some 'favorite' therapist who know me best, but I've never been disappointed with any of the staff. The office staff are super sweet and pleasant, they always remind me of my appts, and if I ever need to reschedule they always go out of their way to accommodate my hectic schedule and set me up with an excellent therapist that fits my needs. I had a great experience at Massage Envy and will come back again. The atmosphere is clean, calming and appealing. The front desk staff is welcoming, friendly & very helpful. My Massage Therapist was very friendly and highly experienced. I mentioned that I was having some issues in a certain area and she worked on that area, giving me great relief. The remainder of the massage was very relaxing and I left feeling very good. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants a great deal, a wonderful atmosphere & a world class service.

I told the young man (Matt) at the front desk that I wanted one, maybe two massages over the next month or two, and he suggested I sign up for a membership. He didn't tell me it was for 6 months fixed, he didn't tell me I couldn't terminate the contract without proof that I lived more than 30 miles from a massage envy, he hardly told me anything relevant to what I was asking, but I was assuming he had my best interest in mind. That said, their masseuses are well trained.

I just had a facial & massage at this facility. The facial was below average. The tech was sweet but new & very unsure of the treatments. She could probably do better if she had some training & guidance. The massage started really well but the therapist spent too much time on my back & then rushed through everything else.

I just had an amazing massage but after my 10 minute disappointing checkout experience I am completely stressed out and need another massage! I had a gift card that I won at a tricky tray. It said it was for a full body massage and there was no expiration date on the gift card or the folder it came in. They told me their price had gone up since I received the gift card and I owed $11 and change to make up the difference in price. I said The folder stated the gift was a full body massage I did not see an expiration date. They said it showed up when they scanned the gift card. The girl made a phone call to an apparent manager and said "some lady came in with a gift card…". I am some lady? Not a customer? Not a guest? My wonderful massage was negated by standing around waiting for a decision, unclear specifications, and a girl behind the desk who doesn't understand how to properly treat a customer!
