I've gone to a couple different spas/massage parlors but Elements in Manasquan is my favorite. The quality is great and the price is reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone who asked and have purchased gift cards for friends and family.

I had a membership for one year. I cancelled a massage (the morning of) last year because I woke up with a sore throat. I continued to have monthly massages without fail. I scheduled a massage for this past Tuesday morning. That morning I woke up with a rash all over my body. I called to cancel the massage as soon as they opened on Tuesday. Despite the rash, I was told that I had to pay a cancellation fee of $45.00. My rash was diagnosed as poison oak by my dermatologist later that day. It's hard to believe that this business establishment would charge me for cancelling an appointment that would have protected their staff and other clients from exposure to poison oak. Needless to say, I cancelled my membership. The place needs to give their valued customers the benefit of the doubt. They don't. BEWARE! If you have a true medical issue which precludes you from having a massage and you cancel last minute, they don't care whether you are a member - you will be charged $45.00.

I have been a client for well over a year, and I will continue to be one. Their staff is always friendly and accommodating. I've met the owner on several occasions and is always pleasant. The location is easy to get to and the place itself is well kept and clean. I have brought friends and would recommend people go here.

I look forward to a massage from Darcy at Elements every time I go. I babysit 3 year old twin boys & a 22 month old boy (my Grandchildren) and needless to say there is a lot of picking up, carrying, playing, etc that wears we down! The facility is so clean & quiet too so you really feel relaxed when you enter & leave. The staff is very friendly and you don't get the pushy sales pitch like some other massage studios..

This is the only place I actually became a member to under two conditions: 1. Immaculate customer service especially with Ashley. Ashley is the perfect ideal candidate that represents a company with professionalism, phenomenal customer service, and creates a relationship with the customers. 2. The Masseuse are wonderful. They know exactly how to solve the problem or issues I have been dealing with my neck and back. I have a private Masseuse as well and I met Terry who is insanely fabulous! If it wasn't for her, I would of never signed up for this location knowing I live 2 hours away. This place is exceptional!

Went last night for an hour massage after teaching a week long of Dance intensive classes. I’ve had many massages before and have never experienced a massage like this. The manager is right I called yesterday asking to if they had availability and they had availabilty for 8pm. I am sure as a customer service based business it is their job to fill the time slots so they didn’t anything out of he ordinary to fill that slot (I called they made the appt). I started face down where the therapist QUICKLY massaged until my left shoulder where she spent a HALF HOUR trying to get out one knot. Full body weight grinding into my shoulder for a half hour straight digging in and the vigorously moving it back and fourth. She then put a cream on my shoulder but didn’t tell me what it was (biofreeze) which I know it was biofreeze as I use that at least twice a week on my lower back while teaching. Then she proceeded after the half hour to flip me over start massaging my legs then arms then as she got to my shoulder neck and head she said times up! She did not massage the upper front shoulders, chest face or head. I was stunned. I had no idea that it would have been like this or I would went else where to get a massage. Well I got home I noticed my left shoulder was swollen and I woke up this am and my shoulder is swollen and I can barely move!! My skin on my left shoulder hurts to the touch. This shouldn’t happen whatsoever. I go to get massages in order for my body to heal since I have such a physical job and this will absolutely take a while to heal. I am sure that A massage shouldn’t be crippling to the customer therapeutic massages have always left me feeling amazing and ready to take on many more hours of teaching. I have pictures showing the swelling/bruising on the shoulder and shoulder blade today.

Elements has absolutely changed my life! The girls who work there, including ALL the receptionists to ALL the massage therapists are beyond friendly, professional, and simply amazing. They all do their jobs to the fullest, while making me feel like a new woman EVERYTIME I LEAVE!!!! I love so many things about ELEMENTS, JUST TO NAME A SMALL, FEW AMENITIES... I LOVE the friendly receptionists who Appreciate my privacy while I chat like family, the book about every employee, heated beds, tranquil environment, I mean it's indescribable the massage itself exceeds EVERY expectation! Alissa, Christina, and especially Amanda are phenomenal!!! Amanda deserves an award for what she has done for me and my aching body, I will continue to accept her expert talent. She is simply fantabulous!!

I enjoyed my first massage there (couple massage) and liked it so much that I actually bought into the wellness program. However, when I tried other people my experience was less than expected and I never was able to book a massage with the person I really liked in the beginning. I gave probably 4 other masseuses a chance but they simply did not meet my expectations. Overall the facilities are clean, staff is friendly and the wellness program is worth if you are really into getting massages.

I would insist on zero stars....I have been a member of Elements for years on and off and I never had an issue like this before. It all started in June 2018 when I had to relocate for work. Originally, I have filled out a suspension form to put my membership on hold due to expected work travel but soon after that had filled out a cancelation form because I was advised that I will be relocating. I gave my 30 days notice, paid for July and used the session knowing I will not be in the area much longer. In March of 2019, I realized that I was charged 4 months in a row - December 2018, January 2019, February 2019 and March 2019. I have called to inquire why I was being charged if I had canceled the membership and I was told I only put the membership on hold. I have tried to explain to the agent on shift that day that I filled out 2 forms and there is an obvious mistake. I requested for the money to be refunded because I do not live in the area and would not be able to use the service and was refused. Now that I will be visiting family in the area so I wanted to use the service I was forced to buy due to an employee error in processing paperwork. I have called to make an appointment in May 2019 and I was told that I had no sessions left because my membership was canceled and the sessions expired. So I was essentially extorted into buying something and then I was refused service. This is the worst business practices I have ever experienced. In the age where hospitality and customer service sets you apart from your competition...I am surprised they still have customers. I am a client relations manager and I was floored to learn how this business operates.

I received the years worth of monthly massages as a birthday gift and it has been great! One of my top birthday gifts. I have been able to have the same person each month with little to no problems with scheduling conflicts. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the place is very clean and relaxing. You can also have another person listed on your package in case you are not able to make it one month. I would highly recommend Elements!

So I was a valid customer for about a year. I went atleast once a week for the longest time. Gave them good business and tipped very well. I couldn’t cancel my membership over the phone and I work 7 days a week. Over the course of 6 months I was still getting charged for my membership. I finally was able to take off work to cancel my membership (in person) and I was told by the “boss” that I had to pay one more month in order to cancel ! Meanwhile, I paid 6 months worth of a membership and never was able to use any of it due to working 7 days a week. I would highly not recommend going here.

I have been coming here since shortly after they opened and still love it. The environment is peaceful and very conducive to relaxation. The staff is very friendly and they do whatever they need to help you. I have a very difficult time relaxing, so if I am able to here, anyone can! I also have a lot of muscle tension due to stress and heavy weightlifting, so they help a lot with that. Great membership program as well. My favorite therapist is Jaimie. Try it out, you will not regret it.

I have never gone wrong getting my massages here. The owners go above and beyond to match you up with the perfect "therapist" from your feedback. This is not a cookie cutter massage studio, where you have to get the exact massage, or the same massage, everytime. They cater to your specific needs. This is my GO TO. I mean it when I say I would not go anywhere else, and I have been going over 2 years now. This is not your typical franchise. I feel like their only customer everytime I walk in the door. And they couldn't be nicer at the front desk. A+ Rating

When asked if I preferred a male or female I said female. I got there and had a male. Massage was not good and he was coughing and breathing issues because of it. I spoke to Megan today and explained exactly this. Megan told me my paper said no preference that the employee wrote over the phone and if I wanted to come back at another introductory rate I could. Really? I told her I said female but I guess she doesn't believe that her place made a mistake and not me otherwise I couldn't imagine she would want me to pay again. I am sure they run across all kinds of issues with people in this buisness but I don't believe this one was handled correctly.

Update: the Owner just called me petty for expecting good customer service. Glad to see he’s not afraid to trash his own business in order to make a point to me. The level of unprofessionalism towards a 3 year member is astounding. I’ve been a member here for the last three years and have only ever had a few problems, nothing that couldn’t be solved by good customer service. That is until today Friday 6/7 I had a 3 o’clock appointment. I arrived at 2:53, the lobby was completely empty when there’s normally a receptionist, which I thought was odd. So I wait. I keep waiting until it’s now 3:03 and the receptionist walks out to answer the phone. She sees me and says “ oh are you so and so” and I say “yes that’s me”. So I keep waiting. At 3:23 the receptionist is now on the phone and I can hear her say “what should I do”. Then she begins to inform me that my masseuse is running behind due to car trouble and that I should probably leave because she’s booked up the rest of the evening but that I will most likely received a free massage for the inconvenience. (Which has happened in the past with no issue) and that the owner would contact me that evening to discuss it. I accept this and unhappily leave wasting over an hour of my day to not receive a massage. Now I wait all day for a phone call that never comes, I wait till Sunday thinking maybe they were busy, giving them the benefit of the doubt and I call saying I hadn’t received the call I was expecting, they said “someone will be in touch soon”. Okay fine. I wait. Then Wednesday rolls around and still no call. I call again. “Oh someone will be in touch.” I wait. I finally get a call Sunday 6/16 (Father’s day) at 7:30 PM. It’s the receptionist not the owner whom I was expecting to explain my frustrations to. She begins to offer me a free 30 min upgrade, and I say “that’s not what I was told and not the same level of service I’d experienced in the past and would like to talk to the owner because I think it’s very unprofessional.” She’s says “okay I’ll let him know.” I finally get a call from the owner “Alex” and I don’t answer because it’s an unknown number from a New York area code. He proceeds to leave a 1:31 message saying how if I’m not happy I should switch masseuses and that I’ve received free stuff in the past and that I should just deal with it because “shit happens”. Also he said because I thought the 30 mins upgrade wasn’t good enough he took that away and said I should just get my regular massage and not tip the masseuse because that would be fair, because “if he gave any more free stuff out he would have to let her go.” Obviously this wasn’t the phone call I was expecting, so I call him back and he proceeds to tell me how I’m bothering him on Father’s Day (now remember I tried to hash this out 9 days earlier and I was the one who was first bothered on Father’s Day) and he told me to stop being a “prick” and just except this because that was it. I was taken aback by this level of disrespect to someone who for 3 years had a monthly membership. I couldn’t believe this is how someone who owns and operates something that’s supposed to be a service industry and relaxation just completely threw out a recurring member. I told him I was discontinuing my membership and he then told me I had to give 30 days notice and would be charged for the next month. Terrible business owner, it’s a shame because the girls here are always very professional and give excellent massages, but if you’re looking for a place that respects their clients this is not it.
