I have been so impressed with CityTouch Massage. Their prices are reasonable, booking is incredibly easy, and they accept my health savings account card, which is so convenient. I've been seeing Carla for prenatal massages and can't recommend her enough. She takes the time to listen to me before we start our session, and tailors the massage to address my specific requests. My hips have been particularly tight throughout my pregnancy, and the only time I'm able to sleep well is after one of her massages! Above and beyond that - she actually remembers past massages and is able to let me know if certain parts of my body are remaining tense or have loosened up - and she follows up by suggesting stretches and yoga poses to help me between sessions. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I don't usually write reviews but this experience deserves 10 stars. I needed to loosen up my back and simply searched on yelp for massage therapy in my area. I booked a last minute appointment online with Rob (I didn't have a therapist preference), although the time slot was only available for an hour (I wanted 90 mins), I messaged Rob through yelp and he said he would make a plan. I followed the simple instructions on email to get into the practice (I loved the you could smell the natural oil scent from the moment you got into the elevator). Rob greeted me and we chatted about what I wanted out of the session. He paid attention to my requests and did an EXCELLENT job of loosening up my back. I got a friendly follow up email the next day asking about how I was feeling and offering suggestions. Thanks City Touch, I will be back!

I am very particular about massage and because it was a holiday week none of my usual therapists were around so I took a chance. My massage with Ana was incredible. I could tell from the website and then from speaking to him that Rob the owner is the real deal and that he puts together a high caliber team. The space is serene, clean and lovely. I filled out an intake and also spoke with Ana and during my 90-minute massage she managed to address everything we talked about while also giving me a well rounded "whole body" treatment. I also love that the pricing includes tax and tip. It is easy, professional and the prices are great. This will be my new "go-to" spot!

He's bit of a perfectionist. The entire space in which City Touch resides is spotless. It's clean, relaxing, and smells great. Put all those together and it's just what the doctor ordered to have an hour or so of stress relieving massage. I even got a follow up e-mail the day after my massage with some tips on stretching. Talking to Rob, you don't get the feeling of him delivering any sort of "sales pitch". You're talking to an actual person. His massage technique speaks for itself and it's damn good.

Rob sat down and talked to me about any perceived tightness, my recent physical activity, and day to day life style. He then utilized this knowledge to provide a wonderful and effective massage. After, he checked-in on how everything was and pointed out other areas of tightness created by my running schedule. I left feeling more relaxed than I have felt in a long time! I've had a lot of massages through the years, lots of different styles and I can say with confidence that she ranks at the top of my list. I have chronic back/shoulder/neck pain from old injuries and from sitting at a computer for work. She really listened and addressed my issues. I got the sense that she truly was interested in what I was saying and cared about making a difference. I booked the 90 min one with her and afterwards every part of my body from my head to my toes felt so much better and relaxed. What also impressed me was how she used some different techniques that no body else had used to try to address my hip/thigh issues. Over all she was throughout, professional, friendly and warm. Highly recommend it to start the week. I usually arrive as early as possible, but give yourself a few extra minutes to find this location. The entrance is a little tricky, so keep an eye out that the address is a few doors down (past the service entry) marked '153'. But staff was so fast at responding and helping me get in, it wasn't an issue in the end.

I was having some really bad lower back pains and there was an appointment the same day. The masseuses was very courteous and professional. I explained to her all my aches and pains and she explained what she was planning on doing to help me and it really did work. I woke up this morning feeling limber and ready for the day. Also, the website is very easy to navigate and I think the price is very fair for the caliber or work and where City Touch is located. They will send you an email after booking with detailed instructions on how to get into the building and what to do. I initially chose City Touch due to its proximity to my home as well as the convenient payment method and reviews and profiles of the therapists. I ended up with a 60 min appointment with Marta and she beyond exceded my expectations! I had been dealing with significant shoulder and neck stiffness and pain for 4 months, had seen doctors, a chiropractor and other massage therapists and Marta was the FIRST person to actually identify and isolate where I was feeling the most pain and the lead me through a number of exercises (aided stretching, massage and cupping) to work through the tension, drastically reduce my pain and greatly increase my range of motion. I was incredibly impressed by her professional and friendly manner and felt extremely comfortable/at ease with her. I really appreciated her multi-technique approach to my massage and am looking forward to returning. I highly recommend Marta, who will take care and time to really address any issues you may have!

Within 30 seconds of meeting Adrian he quickly diagnosed my issues and identified various techniques that would help. If you haven't tried CityTouch you're missing out! I have been going to CityTouch sporadically over the last several years (because I travel for work a TON). Each and every time I have been has been a great experience: professional, thorough, and thoughtful. I woke up yesterday with an incredibly stiff neck. While my usual LMT (and the owner), Rob, couldn't see me he was able to schedule time (very last minute) for me to see Adrian. Rob has always been great, and yesterday Adrian was incredible as well. Adrian was patient and persistent to help me get back range of motion in my neck. The massage helped so much! Adrian even followed up by email and sent me exercise suggestions to help me avoid the same injury in the future. No need to go anywhere else for a great massage in NYC.

Don't buy the packages! Carla helped me out with some pain the first session. I bought a package after that(the owner Rob emailed me after telling me how they have them but they hide them from people on the website).The second time I came back after that package the quality of service Carla provided was horrible and was sore in a hurt not good way. After that I decided to try Rob which was the worst massage ever. I asked him to adress some specific areas which he completley ignored. When I mentioned the knots in my neck were untouched he got defensive and rude replying. "I am not a mind reader you should have told me to go harder" I felt like after I bought the package they stopped caring. The harrass all customers to write reviews which may be the reason for all the rave reviews. Such a ripoff and waste of money, this place is horrible, won't help you adress points of pain just throw money in trash.

The space was nice and cozy. I was able to hear people conversing in the hall for a brief moment, but it didn’t last long. Will definitely return!

Rob Gonzalez is a brilliant masseur and the atmosphere he creates at CityTouch is one of unrivaled peace and comfort. Everything from the carefully selected aromas, to the soothing, but unobtrusive, background music, to the delicious, sweetened pieces of dried fruit to snack upon create a space where comfort reigns and the only thing on one's mind is the amazing massage. I rock climb (indoors) three times a week and after 90 minutes with Rob I felt like I could climb every day. His massages are restorative and incredibly relaxing. I only told him some general areas to work on and from that he was able to pinpoint the specifics that needed work and the result is always a phenomenal massage. I can't recommend CItyTouch and Rob enough!

Rob is a passionate professional that loves what he does. He definitely helped me heal a huge spasm I had between my right shoulder, back and neck for weeks. Before I met him I went to the physician and they prescribed me tons of pain killers that didn't do anything for me. Every day I was worse until I met Rob and I'm not making that up. I was nervous trying it for the first time, but Marta made me feel at home and took time before and after the session to discuss my needs and what I can do at home/gym to keep up with my particular condition. When I got off the table after the session, It felt like someone had turned up the gravity! I was very loose and relaxed. They provide some dried fruit and mineral water which I enjoyed. I will be opting for the 3 session package to save some money, as I will definitely be returning for more. I left wondering why I had waited so long to get pain relief! I had a 60-minute massage with Carla and with Marta. Carla is great. She was thorough and attentive. She was also highly sensitive to my immediate needs and was very careful in the areas of extreme pain (my neck) and wonderfully persistent in the other areas that needed work and could take the extra pressure. Good balance is not easy to achieve but Carla managed it very well, with her calming energy, form touch and excellent bed-side manner, along with nice use of aromatherapy. I came to CityTouch 8 months after having a baby, with severe back pain and left feeling like I could finally straighten my back after over a year of pain despite consistent yoga practice. I am going back to see her for a 120-minute session. Marta has a very different style and energy. I would recommend working with her in the first half of the day. Her expertise is impressive though and I am planning on returning to see her as well. Rob is very professional (and nice!) and made the experience great from start to finish. I booked a couples massage for my anniversary. I did it pretty last minute and Rob was very accommodating. I communicated with him through emails (just b/c it is more convenient for me) and he got back to me very quickly which I really appreciate. My GF got a massage from Rob and I got one from Frances. In terms of Rob, my GF said he was a little rough but she did say she wanted a firm massage. To me, Rob looked pretty strong so he probably just gives a really good firm massage. In terms of my massage, I can only really speak for Frances. And I thought she was wonderful. She listened to my concerns and checked in with me after. I asked Frances to focus on my shoulders and after the massage they felt loose, relaxed and pain-free. Both Rob and Frances were very personable and friendly, which added to the relaxed/comfortable atmosphere. The space was soothing to say the least. It was a shared space with some kind of child care service across the hall but once you step inside Rob’s office, you can’t hear a thing. It is a very serene space and whatever scented oils they used were really pleasant. The place was very clean and the linens used on the massage tables were comfy & quality. Like others have mentioned on here, Rob followed up with me after which I think was a nice touch. Little things like that and just the overall way I was treated definitely makes me want to come back often and try some of his other services!

Rob is one of those rare practitioners that understands deeply how to perfectly blend the clinical aspect of massage, the deep intensive healing aspect, with the luxurious spa-like nurturing aspect. I was really in dire need of TLC all over my body after an intense week of physical labor. I found Rob on Yelp and made my way to his serene and lovely space. His attention to every sensual detail (scent, sound, soft lighting, room temperature, yummy dried fruits and cool water afterward, etc) made me feel at ease right off the bat. If you are wondering if you should splurge on his CityCleanse Body Treatment, all I can say is, it was worth every penny. EVERY PENNY. There are all kinds of things going on during the treatment, but they are done with such grace and calm that all you feel is wonderful. Things are sprayed on, heat gets wrapped around you, you are scrubbed and rubbed and coaxed into a state of total surrender. I promised myself that every time I come to NYC for a job, I am going to have another treatment with Rob! I can't wait!

I've been several times and they're consistent in performance, keeping track of (and treating) your injuries, and you can rest assured they understand the body as well as your doctor and/or physical therapist. Each session begins and ends with a quick sit down to ensure you get the care you need. Check with your insurance provider if they'll cover it and ask about the bulk discount. I highly recommend the owner, Rob, but they're all amazing!

If there were more stars I would gladly give them. This massage was a gift from my son. It took me a while to find the time to go due to doctors' appointments on my days off for a sciatic nerve problem I have for 8 months now. The original appointment was for Rob but was rescheduled by them the last minute with Carla. I do believe it was my lucky day. It was like I hand picked the right person for the right job. Her knowledge was specific to my injury and I could feel she was working just the right areas. She told me to expect pain for the rest of the day and I did. But what I didn't expect was the glorious feeling of waking up and feeling no pain on my first dreaded step. Usually the pain needed 30 min or so to go but that morning I felt almost normal. How strange and exciting it was to stand without yelping or cringing with pain!!! I had been doing physical therapy for month with out as much as a 10%improvement. This past Saturday I got my first pedicure at CityTouch Licensed Massage Therapy, the no water/steam pedicure is amazing! I really enjoyed every moment of it, it was very relaxing. However, I was not happy after the fact because the nail polish fell off one of my toe nails the day off. I was really upset about it because this has never happened to me right after I've gotten a pedicure, but I got over it. Yesterday , another one fell off and it hasn't even been a full week since I got the pedicure. I never expected this to happen, and it is really upsetting.

Carla was extremely polite and asked questions about my occupation, medical conditions and any specific needs. I work in an office job and also run a fair bit. She was spot on with the pressure and did some stretches for my arms and legs to help with my running. She also gave me advise on areas to stretch on a regular basis. I love the little touches they have aded, like heated blankets, hot towels, soothing music, scented humidifier and dried fruits at the end of the session. The place is extremely clean and very cosy. The price is a little bit more but it is great to have a professional LMT with some extra nice touch. Absolutely worth it!

Rob is one of those rare practitioners that understands deeply how to perfectly blend the clinical aspect of massage, the deep intensive healing aspect, with the luxurious spa-like nurturing aspect. If there were more stars I would gladly give them. This massage was a gift from my son. It took me a while to find the time to go due to doctors' appointments on my days off for a sciatic nerve problem I have for 8 months now. The original appointment was for Rob but was rescheduled by them the last minute with Carla. I do believe it was my lucky day. It was like I hand picked the right person for the right job. Her knowledge was specific to my injury and I could feel she was working just the right areas. She told me to expect pain for the rest of the day and I did. But what I didn't expect was the glorious feeling of waking up and feeling no pain on my first dreaded step. Usually the pain needed 30 min or so to go but that morning I felt almost normal. How strange and exciting it was to stand without yelping or cringing with pain!!! I had been doing physical therapy for month with out as much as a 10%improvement. This past Saturday I got my first pedicure at CityTouch Licensed Massage Therapy, the no water/steam pedicure is amazing! I really enjoyed every moment of it, it was very relaxing. He met me in the waiting room with a glass of water, and made sure I was comfortable while I filled out the paperwork. His room is spacious and has plenty of natural light. He offers dried fruit and water inside, and also has a place for clothes and jewelry. He even has cell phone chargers available! The massage table is heated, and Rob uses orthopedic pillows to provide support to the neck and back throughout the massage. In regard to the massage itself, Rob is skilled and knowledgeable. He has a thorough understanding of the musculature, understands the mechanism of injury, and is able to treat soft tissue injuries in a holistic manner. When I explained my workout routine (swimming and running, with some yoga), he was able to hone in on problem areas and tight muscles. He incorporated some gentle stretching, and gave me some stretches to do at home to maintain flexibility and prevent injuries. He used a combination of gentle and deep pressure, while remaining sensitive to my comfort and tolerance. My experience with CityTouch was extremely positive. My massage with Sofia was one of the best I've experienced. I found Sofia extremely knowledgeable, and she relieved a lot of my back pain, and gave me tips on how to stretch/improve the pain going forward.
