I had several massages previously at spas while on vacation, but Janet is the first massage therapist I started going to regularly. She takes time each session to ask about how you have been feeling and makes suggestions beyond massage on stretches you can do at home. She seems to be genuinely interested in health and well being and I would recommend her to anyone interested in massage.

She was recommended by a friend, so I went there wanting to focus on my neck and shoulders, not sure what to expect because my neck has been worked on in the past by others with out success. Well she asked a lot of questions and explained what she was going to do. It made sense and said let's try it. I'm very pleased to say I haven't felt this great in a long time and this was only one visit so far! She worked on the troubled areas and was still able to get a relaxing massage in as well! Janet is an exceptional massage therapist. Lots of in depth questions so she can apply her expertise in the most beneficial manner. Although she will gladly focus on a specific problem area, one of her best attributes is that while she concentrates on say, your shoulders or neck, she always manages to treat the whole person. I came to Moving On Massage because I received a gift certificate. Janet definitely gained a new client! She was fabulous! I have lymphoma in my right leg it hurts 75% of the time. Janet offered to try cupping on it and I said sure why not it can't hurt it anymore than it does. The next day I was walking around, shopping for at least 2 -3 hours which normally would have put me down for the count for the rest of the day. I got home and realized my leg didn't hurt and was shocked!!! It has been 100% better since she did the cupping and I cannot wait to get to my next appointment to continue the treatments and massages. Thank you Janet my leg hasn't felt this good in a few years!

I met Janet at work through a company paid massage. I then signed up for a 3 massage package and I can't tell you how awesome Janet is. She listens to what your aches/pains are and focuses on those areas. She truly gives individualized treatments. She is knowledgeable and skilled at giving you what you need for treatment and meeting your needs. She listens and has a great personality. About two months ago I was looking for a massage therapist to work with to help me resolve some issues I was having that kept me from the active lifestyle I was used to and wanted to get back. Janet listened, asked excellent questions and tailored our sessions to meet my needs. She gave me exercises and stretches to support what we were doing , checked in with me to make sure things were going OK between sessions, and after 3 sessions, I am well on my way to my goals of hiking mountains again with greater flexibility and decreased discomfort. So I was searching for a massage business in the Concord area and stumbled upon Moving on Massage Therapy with Janet. I saw that she had quite a few reviews and a great rating so I gave her a quick email and explain to her that I was in a lot of pain with a neck and nerve injury. She was able to move around her schedule to fit me in that day. Not only was she very sensitive to the problems that I was having but the 90-minute massage was amazing and helpful towards healing my injury. And talk about someone that truly cares about her clients, not only did she discuss with me buy conversation with charts showing my spine and muscles but also gave me some techniques and stretches that I could do at home to help heal. Not only that I was more surprised that a couple days later she took time out of her busy day to call me to see how I was doing. Not to mention I was a first-time client. Thank you Janet

The massage room was quiet and decorated tastefully. She made me very comfortable asking what I was interested in for my massage and what was bothering me.
