Went for a couples message and the experience was fantastic! We had Matt and Jesse as our masseurs and they were both phenomenal, they were constantly checking to make sure the pressure was good. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet. Everyone was super friendly. I'd highly recommend!

This was my first experience with Andrew, as well as with Elements, and it was wonderful. I have a lot of issues surrounding my neck/shoulders/back/hips stemming from health issues and the type of work I do, so I'm in constant pain and discomfort. He was able to effectively find and tackle the exact spots I had knots or soreness in without me having to direct him, and in return provided an excellent massage with the deeper pressure I was looking for. Plus he's incredibly sweet & friendly! I'd highly recommend him for people looking for someone that's skilled in deep tissue & trigger point therapies to really work out your problem areas.

Tried this place a few times and should have gone with my gut feeling from the start and not gone back. The therapists had their own style and did not accommodate what I was looking for at all. There was a car-sales mentality there b/c they try to sell you something you might not want and it's pushy--something I never expected. They try to sell membership and it's not much different than one of those tanning places that collect your money out of your bank account every month--even if you don't go. I'm sorry I ever went there in the first place and certainly will never go back and would not recommend this place in the slightest.

I liked the in between waiting area to chill after my massage. The decor is nice and tidy. The receptionist were respectful to my wish to discuss money matters prior to my appointment to I could just savor my experience. The massage therapist was super accommodating and did a fantastic job! I’m looking forward to this kind of self-care on a regular basis!

They have a lot of options for therapists and styles of therapy which is fantastic. My only qualm is that an hour massage isn't a full hour. You get 45 min of massage. The therapists are great and the staff has been extremely accommodating so I really can't say anything bad.

Phil has a phenomenal flow where he can get in and release knots but make me feel completely relaxed. He uses the right amount of pressure and keeps it consistent throughout the whole session- EVEN when it’s 2 hours! He listens and makes me feel 100% comfortable- even when in a vulnerable state. The Studio as a whole has a fantastic and talented crew working there!

It was an incredible experience.Jesse worked with my individual needs and was very good about putting specific attention to the areas we spoke about. The massage in itself was great but was promised a price and then had a surprise $20 fee racked on. Pleases that lie to people to get them in the door and then Nickel and dime them after they have received their treatment than a different price than was promised should not be able to be in business in this community. Really unfortunate because the therapists were very nice. Just disappointing.

The front desk people need a class in customer service. But importantly, the masseuses are very mixed. I have only found one that is worth the money. But what tipped the scale this week is a call from an incompetent person who said I had not paid for the three missed appointments. She had someone else's credit card but accused me of a fake credit card on file! I have been charged many times on a credit card on file. So, where is my credit card pray tell? The assistant manager Tina did not give a darn about this matter which is pressing for me! Life is too short for condescending twits like Tina. This is not customer service. I said to her that one appointment was cancelled over 24 hours in advanced, one I was in the hospital, and one I missed. I have never objected to paying the tip fee. I said I had other appointments scheduled but the incompetent surly and toad of a collections person with wrong information said I did not have any additional appointments. Today I received a call from an incredibly surly rude and mean manager named Tina. I explained my experience to her with the woman about the credit card and appointment and the fact that I could not remember her name. Indeed I felt after personally hiring over 1k people as a CEO of five biomedical companies I have some experience. Tina said it was her job to protect the business and didn't think her people were incompetent. I said to Tina, this is a service business that is supposed to be a relaxing experience for people but it isn't because you set the tone as a caustic, self-engaged, nagging, mean to the customer assistant manager. I reiterated that I want an explanation about my credit card! I canceled all my forward going appointments and never will go back to this place. Not worth it. For every good massage with the one therapist I think is worth it there have been several flaccid useless massages. Just not worth it. Great massage therapists independent without the drama of this truly incompetent manager. She should be fired! She is killing her own business because I will make sure my neighbors and colleagues know how I feel about her and Elements in Portsmouth! Watch your credit card. Don't give it over to Elements!

I had a great experience at Elements! They offer an intro rate for new clients of $69 for a 60-minute massage, which was a great excuse for me to try them out. Sabrina was my masseuse and she did an amazing deep tissue massage. The ambiance was very nice and Sabrina checked in with me throughout the massage to make sure that the pressure was right and see if I had any areas that she should be focusing on. It was very relaxing and I left feeling refreshed. Elements is a chain and I try to stick to smaller Mom and Pop operations, but I was very impressed with them and I'm sure I'll be back again.

One of the worst massages I've ever had! Therapist name was amber, I asked for deep tissue and all I got was light pressure. She came and got me from the front 7 minutes after 5, and ended the session at 553, I was shorted a full 10 minutes. She also did this constant jaw popping, that was quite annoying. I will not be back

From the moment you walk in, you feel a peace and calmness to get you ready for your massage. The girls at the front desk are very friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting areas are comfortable and clean. They have a large amount of therapists to choose from, all with different specialties. The massage rooms are very relaxing. My husband and I did a couples massage and both therapists were wonderful. We will definitely be going back in the near future!

I went today for my first time after advice from multiple people on Facebook, and boy was I impressed. The reception staff goes above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable. The place is pristine and has a super calming atmosphere, as soon as you walk in. Of course the best part was the massage. Massages can be awkward... You're naked with a stranger who's touching you. Today, my session was with a guy named Andrew, and I couldn't be happier. He very gently eased into conversation, and soon enough I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. His hands seemed to focus on the areas of the most pain and tension without me having to say anything. He also was very intuitive. I can handle a generous amount of pain, and he seemed to be able to sense when I'd had enough, and would move onto the other side. His comfort and self esteem carried over to me, and I felt okay having areas touched and seen that I normally would not be okay with. After my much needed hour was through, he even gave me a guide of areas that were the worst, and a few stretches to receive my lower back pain. I will definitely be making this a monthly tradition of self love
