I had an appointment scheduled for hair and make up with Jaymie for my engagement photos. she cancelled on me a few hours prior to my appointment time due to very inappropriate reasons. She is talented, but cancelling on me the way she did was very unprofessional and put me in a huge bind to find someone else on such short notice

Bad Experience all around. 90 minute massage my wife purchased for my for my birthday. The massage was suppose to be $120 and they charged me $145, plus I left a $20 tip, was suppose to start at 1:00pm and didn't start until 1:15. Then the massage ended at 2:27, so it was about 20 minutes short of what we paid for. After leaving my room the front receptionist put a hard sell on me to get a membership. I kindly told her that I was not interested and she pushed and try to sell 3-4 more times. I just shook my head and said no again and again. So, after over-paying, being cut short on time, and being hard sold on membership my family and I will not be returning. Update after Massage Envy's response: Thanks for the response, but it appears you have had these same issues months and even years before my visit. If you haven't changed your business tactics yet, it's likely a phone call from me won't change things either. You have 2.8 stars for a reason, instead of talking about "making it right" perhaps you should implement better processes that actually "make it right" from the beginning.

Got a fabulous massage from Kelly who even took time out of her schedule to teach me some stretching exercises. I felt so relaxed afterwards!

1 hour massage was 37 min! I was very disappointed in the service at this place. First of all, I waited 20 min for my appointment, and no one said anything to me or apologized for the wait. Then, my 1 hour massage (understanding it's 50 min) was only 37min! I felt she was rushing to "catch up." Maybe it was because I was younger, and she didn't think she had to do as good of a job. Then the topper is that they charged me $65 when it was supposed to be $49. I even questioned that charge, and the girl just said, "yep," not checking to see that I was there over a year and a half ago, meaning that the massage should have been $49. I won't go back there. UPDATE: I filled out the post-service email survey and marked to have a manager call me. She did and offered me a freebie, which turned out better. It might have been because it was a "last chance" kinda thing. I still will take my business elsewhere, though, as I don't want to chance another crappy experience. I can't rely on always getting the "apology freebie."

Extremely expensive for non-member services! Customer service is desired here as well. Clean environment, but probably wouldn't recommend my family/friends to this spot. Massage was $95 for one hour before tip... Massage Envy in Las Vegas was only $80 for 1.5hrs and Omaha is no Las Vegas... Sorry, but I personally won't be coming back here!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AND THIS COMPANY!!! I have an account with them and I have been so frustrated with this company lately. I am trying to use the hours I have so I can cancel my account. This week they canceled two of my appointments (90 mins each). They are canceling my appointments so they can keep my account longer and keep charging me monthly. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION OR COMPANY TO ANYONE!!! SCAMMERS FOR SURE!!!

Massively disrespectful to their clients. When is it ever ok to stick your finger in a paying customers face and degrade them? I help run a doctor's office with a clientele of over 16,000 people and when they ask me my opinion of where they should go I will be sure that they never ever go to a massage envy! They asked me for my feed back and told me someone would be in touch within 4 business days and it's been 3 weeks with no contact about my dissatisfaction. As a nurse I understand the importance of relations with clients and how you deal with them. I've never been more disgusted in my life with the customer service my mother and I received.

Unethical. Poor massage. They charged me for massages I had already paid for. Called and called but apparently I had to talk to a manager and one was never available. They are out for your money. I would never again get a membership here.

I was very hesitant to obtain a membership at such a large franchise, but I'm very glad that I made the leap. I can call on short notice and have almost always gotten in. After you a few times, you'll find a therapist that you click with. Their hours are very accommodating. Sometimes a couple of the front desk staff can seem a bit unapproachable (and sometimes rude), somewhat distracted and rushed. I haven't tried a facial yet, so can't give a good opinion on that subject. I wouldn't hesitate to join if you're considering a membership. After your first massage of the month, any additional massage is only $45. You can't beat that in Omaha!

The staff looks down on you if you don’t buy a membership or book massages with frequency. The 2 host at the front desk need to be replaced vs focused on there self needs or compensation. It’s no wonder why ME Culture has been in the news with sexual and verbal harassment.

I've been a member here for 5+ years and overall, have had good experiences with the therapists. They always seem eager to please and professional. The office staff is an entirely different story. I called to reschedule an appt because we had a death in our family, my young niece had been in a fatal accident. Although I do not expect special treatment for my personal circumstances or sympathy, the "office manager" name Danni was so rude and disrespectful when I attempted to reschedule my appt, I was absolutely shocked!! I simply cannot understand who would hire someone like this.She actually had the audacity to tell me I should have called 24 hours in advance when my niece had passed away only hours previously. When I asked to please have the name of the franchise owner, she told me each store is owned individually and she didn't even know the name of the owner. WOW!

Nicole did a very nice Swedish massage. I waited for 20 minutes but got the full hour. The lady at the front was helpful and very courteous. An overall pleasant experience. I should have accepted the water they offered before the massage because I got thirsty during the massage. The massage gel has no scent and I kind of wished it had, but that isn't a big deal since many people don't like the scented stuff.

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! I signed one a week and a half ago. I had a real extenuating circumstance arise yesterday, called to see if I could cancel before any payment has been taken out of my account, even offered to pay for the discount I received for signing up and bring in proof of said extenuating circumstance, but was told by the manager that she had literally no way to cancel my account. Strange that there is a way to cancel it when you move to a place with no massage envy but it cant be done otherwise. What if someone loses their job and literally can't pay it? What if they have a medical situation? But, massage envy can't cancel your account. Best they can do is freeze it for 3 or 6 months which wouldn't help in my situation. I would never have signed the membership agreement had I been aware of the issue I now face. Moral is, don't get a membership here because even an act of God apparently can't get it cancelled, unless of course you move.
