I held off writing a review for over a month to see if/how acupuncture was going to help me long term and to observe the consistency of treatment, and I now know that I will be returning to PRH as long as I live in Bozeman. I chose PRH because I have issues involving spasming muscles on the upper right side of my body and have been dealing with the pain, muscle tightness, and overall anxiety about it for a few years now. It was manageable day to day, but far from ideal. After doing some research, I decided to give acupuncture a try. From the start of my first appointment to now, I have been continually impressed with the care, involvement, and attention to detail that I have received. The consultation covered every possible issue I could have, I was offered some additional things to help me outside of the sessions like herbal anti-inflammatories and tinctures, and finally given some explanation as to why my body was acting the way it was. The actual session of acupuncture and cupping was such a relaxing time, the atmosphere is wonderful and I look forward to having that hour of reflection each week. As for the results, I have noticed that the tightness in my shoulders has decreased significantly and that I have had almost no spasms after week three. Since starting treatment, I have mostly seen the wonderful Jacqui. Her calming demeanor and gentle touch leaves me feeling better every time I visit. Before every session, she checks in to see how my body is feeling and if a new area is feeling sensitive. This makes me feel fully seen and heard, something I haven't felt in a long time during my recovery. I also had the privilege of getting treatment from Kate, who is absolutely lovely and I look forward to seeing her again. Long post short: I fully trust anyone here to help me continue on my journey to feeling better. Thank you PRH for being a sincere, mindful, and affordable option for me. It has been life changing.

This was my first acupuncture experience and it was great! The young lady I saw (Laine) really took the time to understand my health struggles and was very knowledgeable; she even gave me some advice to take home. The ambiance is perfect, very relaxing. And if you are concerned about the needles/pain, you have nothing to worry about. They offer payment on a sliding scale, which is nice for those of us who would otherwise be unable to afford the treatment. Looking forward to my next appointment!

For the last 11 years I have dealt with constant upper back pain associated with a whiplash injury I received after being rear ended by an uninsured driver. Yesterday I went and saw Brenna Curry at PRH for an accupressure massage and in one hour she was able to relieve my upper back pain. Words cannot express how grateful I am for Brennas help. She is a practicioner whose main objective is to help her patients get better, not just fix them enough so they have to come back in a week and a half. I highly recommend Brenna and PRH in general. Having never tried acupuncture I showed up at PRH with serious joint pain and swelling in my big toe making my ability to walk difficult. I was having a great amount of pain in my shoulder and numbness in my index finger and thumb. I had an MRI and it was diagnosed as a "pinched nerve" caused by three herniated cervical discs. I chose to get an epidural cortisone injection to relieve the pain and allow some movement. After two weeks of improving and accupuncture I felt ready for some massage. I booked with Donna based on her experience and was instantly impressed with her listening to my issues. She confidently and knowledgeably massaged my shoulder and upper neck without causing me any pain (which I was worried about because it was still tender). Also Donna was able to achieve some movement in a rib which allowed for more freedom of movement in the shoulder. Forty eight hours out and I'm glad I went, feeling improved! Looking forward to a full body job soon.
