I'd been experiencing shoulder and arm pain and was in physical therapy working on it when I was gifted a massage to Gina for my birthday by my son. I had chosen her because she was so highly recommended and had such good reviews. I told her I was in physical therapy and she was concerned about aggravating what we had finally gotten to relax in my shoulders and neck. Gina seemed to have no respect for physical therapy, she came across as a my ways the best type. I also mentioned that my knee never felt right after my surgery. However when I went in to see her I was feeling better than I had in a long time physically. Aside from The Oddities of having me touch her head without any warning to fill where she had brain surgery she seemed nice if not a little overly talkative. The massage never felt good and often hurt but being no stranger to medical massage I knew that could be the case. My PT said I had unusual swelling in my back and shoulder, setting me back in treatment. At one point in the massage Gina raised my leg multiple times and told me to relax while she threw it down into a roll on the table. It was agonizing. I nearly left then. When I left my lower back hurt like it had never hurt before and so did my throbbing head. I hoped after Advil and a few days this would pass. Howver more than a week later I still couldn't walk or sit without pain. Pain I'd never felt before the massage. My pt took notice and saw my pelvis was misaligned. After helping reset it the pain was almost instantly gone. I'm still not back to where I was with my shoulder and this massage was a month ago. My right knee is worse than it's been since after surgery during the healing process. I always feel terrible leaving bad reviews when I genuinely liked the person. However this was not a good massage and I wouldn't recommend her to anyone I like.
