This is one of the most unprofessional services I have ever tried to use. I originally purchased their services on Groupon. After I paid, I tried calling for an appointment. NO RESPONSE. Then I emailed on Jan 6th for an appointment - I received an automated email saying they are "on vacation" until Jan. 10th. Jan 11th, NO RESPONSE, so I email again asking when their next available appointment is. I get a response saying Feb 1st. I send an email back asking if they have Feb. 2nd or 3rd available. NO RESPONSE. I send another email a week later "Are you available Feb 3rd at 4:30pm? If not, when is your next Friday afternoon appointment?" I also place phone calls. Another week goes by, NO RESPONSE. I send a third email: "Hello, this is my 3rd email in over the last 2 weeks without a response. Can you please answer my question: Are you available Feb 3rd at 4:30pm? If not, when is your next Friday afternoon appointment?" I finally get this response: "we are booked for that day". So I send this: "Can you please respond to my next question in the email then...when is your next available Friday afternoon appointment?" and I finally get a response, and have to settle on a time slot a month and a half later on March 3rd. Fine, this has taken me a month just to book, and another month and a half out for a decent time slot. I'm now realizing that this is basically a guy working on his own, maybe with one or two other family members, who has no idea what he is doing, and can not set a schedule to save his life. So the week of the massage, I get a phone call telling me they have to CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT because of a death in the family. Seriously. Okay, I'm not totally insensitive, and if there really was a death in the family I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt, even though a legit business should be able to manage around a situation like that. In any case, I again look past it. Another week goes by, and the guy finally calls me back to reschedule, and now I am looking at ANOTHER month or so before I can get a decent appointment time. He tells me they have a last minute cancellation the following day at noon. Since they had nothing else decent available, I told him I'll try to make that, and I did say I would try to call him if its a problem. Because of the awkward timing of his phone call I was not able to add it to my calendar properly, and the day got super busy and I was not able to make it in. I called just after the appointment time to apologize and tell him I was not able to make it in, and try and reschedule. HE THEN TELLS ME I CAN NOT RESCHEDULE AND HE IS KEEPING MY $! ARE YOU KIDDING ME, AFTER ALL OF THAT! This Groupon Hawk does not seem to have any idea how to run a business, but I guess you get what you pay for on a $20 Groupon massage. I blame myself, but please be advised, DO NOT USE THIS PERSON'S SERVICES, AND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PAY HIM ANYTHING IN ADVANCE ON GROUPON OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR SERVICE, HE WILL STRING YOU ALONG AND RIP YOU OFF!
