Jennifer Coke gave me a great facial. This is one of the best ones that I have had and I have been to a lot of salons. It is a small and cozy family business. Easy location, easily booked with short notice, even though they sold tons of Groupons (self included). Andrew was massage therapist, trained at Healing Arts Center in STL. IMO, huge difference in techniques, depending on training. It has been my experience that Healing Arts grads have better skills than community college trainees. Just sayin'. At any rate, I had hour massage with hot towels & aromatherapy. Hot towels felt great. Andrew was quiet, unless I prompted convo, which is Everything when you just want to relax. He was very skilled with firm, just right, pressure that I wanted. I would definitely return & gladly pay FULL price. Worth the $$

Facial was okay but not the best I’ve had. It started out well and the staff was incredibly welcoming, but the service itself seemed to be lacking quality. I left the spa with some of the mask or cream on my face and I felt like I needed to re wash my face afterwards. Kind of disappointing considering it was the color green and highly noticeable, but no one said anything until I looked in the mirror once I got in the car!

I have gotten a Brazilian wax more than a dozen times so I know what I am comfortable with in regarding how hot the wax should be, how the pain should feel, and how my skin should react during and after the process. The reason I chose Morgan Ford is because of their good reviews and late hours are very accommodating, however, it was definitely not the experience I was expecting. The hard and soft wax Jennifer used did not remove everything because it wasn’t hot enough, I felt rushed even though I was her last client, it wasn’t thorough, and I was still pulling off hard wax into the next day which made it itchy and red. This is NOT okay. I have nothing against this salon or the people that work here, but when clients come in asking/paying to get XY or Z done to one of the most sensitive areas on our bodies, we would like it to be done correctly. Pain, and redness are normal but not a week later. Jennifer was very nice but I would never come back.

This was the worst wax experience I have ever had. It was my fourth time getting a wax but it was so painful and I ended up getting lots of ingrown hairs. The girl who did wax me was nice and quiet but she just didn't seem to have much experience. I booked a second appointment 4 weeks later due to her personality but I was out of town and rushing to get back and had to be an hour late. I called to let them know but then found they charged my account one hour prior to the actual appointment time.

I am guessing that i am disappointed because i am accustomed to top notch services in pittsburgh. The tables were not heated and the overall ambiance was less than pleasing.

I just moved to the area and saw this place on Groupon. I live in the same neighborhood, so I checked out the Yelp reviews and it looked great. There were many positive reviews, and so I jumped at the chance to get a great price on a 1 hour massage and also a spa service: foot salt scrub with paraffin was treatment. I went today for my spa service and it started off fine. My therapist's name was Jenn, and I remembered the great reviews for Jenn that I saw here. Well, my service was terrible!! I wanted this service because my feet are sore from the tile floors in my new home, so I told Jenn about what I would like her to focus on. The treatment turned out to be nothing like the therapeutic touch I was looking for. Instead it was as though she had never done that treatment before. It was like a very bad pedicure from a cosmetology student on their first day.. extremely light touch application of product, lots of hands off time searching for things, and no massage at all. No massage! The paraffin wax burned my feet, and I told her it was too hot and she just said some people have different tolerance and we could skip it if I wanted because there is no way to turn the temperature down. When I came out, the guy who seemed like the owner was at the desk. He asked how my service was, and I frowned and said it was just "ok". He said "Great!" and asked if I wanted to leave a gratuity. I felt very pressured to leave a tip, so I was embarrassed and said OK. I gave $7 and then the guy said "I want to be sure you have her card, it is right here behind mine." My therapist Jenn was the owner! When I got home I had gotten a follow-up email from them, so I replied to it and told them I wasn't satisfied with my service. They didn't respond. A quick Google search turned up that my therapist was NOT the same Jenn listed on their website as a massage therapist, but actually a LAWYER who owns the company and has a webpage for legal services at the same address. She does not appear to have a massage therapy or aesthetician license - at least according to the State of Missouri professional licensing website. This is very dishonest, and also illegal! PS: Notice how all of their positive reviews are anonymous. Hmmm.

This is a locally-owned place with a few locations. They do offer a monthly membership if you wish to become a regular. Affordable, local, and you get the whole hour of treatment (not just 50 minutes like some places).

I was super excited for the cactus wrap massage after reading about it on their website. Unfortunately, it was absolutely awful. The girl had no idea how to properly massage muscles and then she proceeded to grap small bits of my hair and pull it hard (and I have a tough head!) up and away from my head. Not a single moment was relaxing. Biggest waste of my money and time ever! Will NEVER go back or recommend this place to anyone!

I have found the perfect massage therapist!!!! Jenn always asks if I have any issues or requests before the massage. She also finds tense spots and works them out. She is not too talkative, which I prefer. Deep tissue massage is an art form that she has mastered! The staff is friendly as well.

Outstanding communication to start, from the moment i called to set an appointment w Amity i received a txt msg detailing confirmation and timely reminder followed by phone call schedule confirmation and better accommodation. I arrived to the location without being able to bend over to tie my shoes my usual cronic discounfort and pain that i i learned how to live w it because of my line of work and old injuries. Amity asked for my preferences on preasure and my condition. Carefully listened and I will like to highlight her understanding over a minute talk, deliver could not be more precise, im touching the tips of my toes, sitting on my car without spending time looking for a confortable position for minutes, yesss!
