Maci was my estgetician and she was so sweet and made my visit very comfortable and relaxing. I came here with a friend who insisted on giving me my first spa experience. I loved how cozy and quiet it was. The robes were really nice! My massage was out of this world and I loved my facial. We learned a lot about my skin and the best way to care for it moving forward. The skincare products are a little on the higher side, but I don't fault them for that as the spa had a high end feel and the products appeared to be very good quality. If I lived in the area, I would definitely go back!

I went here for an hour long massage. I paid extra for the deep tissue massage and it was basic, i was literally waiting for the good stuff. The woman talked way to much she wouldn't stop talking, and the massage was 39 minutes I paid for one hour... This was the worst place, and the employees at front desk,seemed so stuck up. I was really disappointed and uncomfortable, I will never recommend this establishment to anyone.

The Grove manager, Kyler helped me book my appointment and was beyond helpful. I told him my specific needs, as I am VERY picky about my massages, and he helped me pick the correct treatment and add ons to best fit my needs. He was very knowledgeable. Kyler then escorted me to the retreat room where I complemented the aroma and he then brought in a wax melt that was the exact scent that I could purchase to make my home smell like grove spa! AMAZING! My technician was Dawn and words can’t describe how amazing she was. She listened to my exact preferences and executed the BEST massage I have ever had in my life. Thanks grove for a beyond perfect experience.

This review deals with staff rather than services, as unfortunately my schedule and circumstances never allowed me to follow through on my appointment. Every interaction I had with the staff of this establishment was pleasant; they were unfailingly polite, courteous, and professional in every phone call, every transaction, and every face-to-face interaction. I dealt with the manager personally on a handful of occasions as well to try and work out accomodations and special circumstances - the man is an absolute delight and damn near bent over backwards in the process of dealing with his customers. We're leaving town, unfortunately, but in the event we ever come back and are in need of relaxation, this will be my first destination.

Got a pedicure the day before leaving on vacation. I was greeted very kindly and offered a warm neck pillow while waiting. Everything about the visit was perfect except the actual pedicure. My technician was friendly and did a great job on the scrub and wax application but she didn't do a thorough job on the actual painting of my toe nails. I paid for a shellac so it would last. I wore sandals home and the next day on the plane. After my shower the first evening I noticed there was a small squiggly line on my left big toe that either never got painted or already rubbed off. Within the first week, the ends of both big toes are showing the nail. Probably wouldn't recommend paying $60+ tip for this ever again.

I have chronic pain and was worried about a massage originally, but with clear communication, and boundaries, a safe and relaxing massage was achieved! No pain!

I had never been to this spa or any spa for that matter. I was given two certificates for my birthday from my mother in law. Each one lists the different services it covers. So I called and explained I had a certificate and that it offered a massage, I then asked if they offered prenatal massages. The woman on the phone said yes and informed me I would have to make an appointment for one. Now mind you it’s my day off and I’ve had a rough pregnancy so far, from morning sickness to migraines to not being able to eat. This appointment was the highlight of my week. I live in Nixa so I drove the 30plus minutes to get to the spa just to be informed that my certificate doesn’t cover the massage I booked. The snobby receptionist, Mallory, told me the prenatal massage was 60 minutes and the certificate only offered a 30 minute massage. I said I couldn’t pay the difference and she replied “well I’ll get this cancelled” not once was an apology given or a justification. I felt like I was being looked down on for not being able to afford the difference. After a hasty phone call to my husband I called the spa back to ask the price difference. Again Mallory answered the phone and I explained I had never been there and didn’t know the difference and was not explained that when I booked the appointment. Again no apology from her it was blamed on my ignorance for not reading the certificate, which doesn’t state that on it. Frustrated and crying I turned around and did the 30 plus minutes back home. An hour of my day off wasted on assumptions and miscommunications. I don’t recommend coming here. No one deserves to be treated with such distaste.

Got a couple massage for valentines day and it was awful! She asked me what area to focus on and I told her my neck and upper back.. I swear my back hardly got touched and 90% of the hour was spent on my legs and arms.. Not my idea of a good massage!

(Posting this review from my boyfriends profile.) The atmosphere at this establishment is exceptional; but that's as far as it goes. I had an hour-long massage here & wasn't impressed. The massage therapist seemed very rushed & spent around 90% of the massage on my neck, not the rest of my body. Not relaxing. I didn't even get my full hour. Probably the least impressive massage I've ever gotten. I have gotten my nails done there in the past and have been happy with the results. It's a decent place; just wasn't as impressive of an experience as I expected from such a well-reviewed establishment.

After having some back pain I decided to pamper myself a bit with a massage. I left feeling ten times better, and during my session Lydia (she's great) even gave me tips on how to prevent my back pain in the future. Everyone at the spa is great, and I plan on visiting often.

Excellent Service. I made a last minute appointment for a facial and they were able to squeeze me in for a 6 PM appointment that day. I arrived 10 minute early and was greeted with a smile and a very pleasant hello for the receptionist. The esthetician came out to meet me shortly after. (pleasant surprise to actually begin my services right at 6). She was very thorough and explained every step of the process and made me feel very comfortable. The Spa was neat and clean and very relaxing. I have since been back for a pedicure, massage, and continued services from the esthetician, Tammy, she's the best. I am very pleased and I really enjoy the friendly staff. I would recommend Grove Spa to anyone looking for a spa that will fulfill and exceed all expectations.

FABULOUS! I was very impressed from the moment I walked into the new University Plaza Hotel location. I was greeted by the staff in a very kind way. I was then escorted into a cozy waiting area and offered water or tea. After filling in my paper work work I was escorted into the massage room. Very cozy and the massage it self was absoulutly amazing! One of the best I have had. After my massage they said "your massage is complete, take your time in getting dressed and we will meet you by the front desk". The experience was great, very professional staff and very kind in an upsacle setting. I will be back!

Betsy was great!! She should go to another spa! However, the front desk staff was argumentative from the start... until the end. Also, eyelash tinting should last several weeks, had mine done on the 1st and eyelashes were blonde again by the 13th, less than 2 weeks. I've had this done at other places and it has lasted the appropriate amount of time...

Love this spa, they are so great. Whether you're getting a massage package or a manicure their service from start to finish is wonderful. Complimentary wine, water or teas are available up front. They have wonderful staff, very knowledgeable, can answer any questions or concerns you might have before or after you book an appointment. I'll definitely be coming back.

I received a spray tan at Grove Spa and was not very pleased with it. The technician didn't even give me any pointers on how to maintain or what to do during or before the spray tan. She just stuck me in the booth and gave me a color option and then sprayed me. My hands looked horrible my feet were half tan and then half white, one of my arms was darker than the other. My chest started discoloration after 2 days. My knee tops were spotty. I just was very let down with the service. I have been there for other things and they were very good, but the spray tan really lowered my expectations. For $35 I expected alot better.

This was my second visit to Grove Spa!! During my first visit, they helped me get ready for my wedding and I left feeling relaxed and beautiful!! This time, I got a clarifying facial with Tammy!! She is a very sweet, attentive lady who wanted me to leave feeling prettier than when I arrived!! I am done with dermatologists!! I have acne and all they want to do is load me up on antibiotics!! Scheduled an appointment for 1pm today since I work nights. They told me I made an appointment for Saturday which is not true since I was working out of state that day. I then received a call saying that I missed my 930 appointment today. I would not have made a 930 appointment since I work nights. The receptionist told me upon calling back that she would not charge me 75$ for both ‘missed appointments’ but that I would need to pay 75$ at the time of scheduling a new one. I’m not doing that and subjecting myself to further ineptitude. I could go in and complain but I don’t feel it would do any good. I can’t say how well the place operates or how skilled their estheticians are and unfortunately for them I won’t find out- but if the receptionist is any indication the place is poorly run at best.
