For 13 years I suffered with debilitating pain. The pain was in my jaw, my head, my neck, and my shoulders. I visited every kind of doctor, and went to every clinic imaginable, including the Mayo. I even went as far as to let a doctor perform surgery on me, and have the nerves burnt out of my neck to relieve the pain (which it didn't). Every person swore they could help me, and I let myself believe every single one of them. They all let me down and I found myself at the end of my rope. I decided to try one more google search on my symptoms and "Woodlands Chiropractic" came up. I ignored it, and the next day searched again, and again, "Woodlands Chiropractic" came up. So I emailed them giving them the short version of my condition. I immediately got and email back and was told to come on in, wait, now? Don't I need to make an appointment and wait 2-4 months to be seen?! Nope. Right then and there I went in. I met with Dr. B and he was a breath of fresh air. He actually seemed to understand everything I was saying, and understood that this pain I was talking about wasn't a joke. He did X-rays right then and there, found the problem and we came up with a plan. He told me the first 3 months would be intense, and could be filled with even more pain. There was NEVER a point where he sugar coated things and I appreciated that. The thing about the staff at Woodlands Chiropractic is they are all nice. At first I thought it was an act, like someone was playing a joke on me or it was something that would quickly fade after the first appointment (due to my previous experiences) but they are all genuinely nice, caring people. The PT staff are very knowledgable and excellent in what they do. Easily, I can say that Dr Balfanz has changed my life. I have never, ever seen such a significant change in my health. The pain no longer rules my life. I am a different person, a happier person, who got her life back, all thanks to Woodlands Chiropractic. Thanks to all of you, you saved my life, literally. Each patient is greeted and wished kind, individualized farewells from the staff; they take time to get to know each patient and sincerely inquire about how they're doing. You can stop by as your schedule allows, the office is open earlier and later than most I've ever visited. I had been in two separate accidents in a short period of time but after participating in sports orthopedic physical therapy exercises I became very ill with pneumonia and suffered chronic pain which caused me to walk very very slowly and not very far either with my cane and later a simple walker. I went to Woodlands Chiropractic because of all the choices listed it was actually the closest clinic to my home. I was there for several months giving the Doctors and staff the lead as I had never been to a chiropractor before this time in my whole entire life and I am now 62 years old, so that says a lot in itself.I think they all helped me, really I could compare the end results to a holy roller tent revival miracle as I walk so much farther and the pain in my lower back especially has been reduced by at least 65% on a good day ,that pain scale reflects my daily activity level so if you are in need of a skilled chiropractic staff then I urge you to contact the clinic and schedule an appointment. You will find a staff that is very sociable and willing to answer any questions you may have about the treatment plan presented by them. I think highly of all the staff and wish them all well . This clinic is absolutely the place you want to go to if you have any chiropractic or physical therapy needs. It's really convenient to take care of both in the same building. The second I walked in I instantly felt welcomed with good energy and positivity. When I met Dr. Balfanz I instantly knew I would be in good hands and good care. I struggled with finding relief and diagnosis for 6 months prior to going to this clinic and finally feel like myself again. All the staff really have the knowledge and care to meet patient's needs, and all care is delivered with compassion and kindness. I worked a lot with Joshua over on the PT side, he does massage for PT patients or people just looking for a good massage to relieve deep tensions and pain. I felt a lot of great relief every time after working with him. I've never had a better medical experience than at Woodlands Chiropractic.

Came in barely able to walk....no one offered any kind of assistance although there were 3 men behind the counter doing nothing but gossiping. I had to stand in agony and fill out five pages of paperwork. The guy who was assigned to me was rude, negative, and had zero real medical help to offer. I actually had to direct him to use electrodes, heat, before he tried to adjust my back. I left in no better shape than I came in...after paying 88 dollars for absolutely NOTHING done to improve my back...i left the clinic still barely able to walk...with zero help offered..I pushed open the two heavy doors myself and went to my car...drove immediately to LynLake Chiro in the arts district of Minneapolis where I recieved... for 50....an hour of massage...heat and electrodes for another hour...careful and thorough evaluations and adjustments by dr travis who actually knows his job...and was able to walk out feeling a little better with a portable electrode machine, a back brace and heat/cold pac and a follow up visit in a few days. The damage to my back was explained to me with visuals. I was given exercises and a tremendous amount of insight, empathy, and expertise. Dont waste your time with Woodland...if my experience was any kind of indication...they are there to do the least amount of anything for the most amount of money.

I love the fact that they combine chiropractic care with physical therapy treatment on site. We were recommended to Woodlands Chiropractor by a friend. We have an 11 week old baby who was extremely fussy and we didn't know what to do so they suggested we come visit Dr. Balfanz. After 3 visits with Dr. Balfanz we saw huge improvements. Our baby started sleeping better and was back to his happy self!
