Over the last couple of years, I have had considerable muscle pain in various areas of my shoulders and back. Straight chiropractic treatments never achieved complete relief. This summer, I began going to Dr. Josh Rickert, who in addition to chiropractic spinal manipulation, practices a type of muscle therapy called Active Release Technique (ART). Amazingly, ART combined with chiropractic treatment has helped me gain more mobility and control of my back pain than ever before. Sure beats alternative methods. Dr. Rickert is well versed in, and advises, what it takes to achieve and maintain a healthy body. If need be, he does not hesitate to collaborate with specialist in other health and healing professions.

Dr. Rickert is a very attentive doctor, he listens to whats bothering you and works those areas extra. He is always making sure you are doing ok, and that you're comfortable. I came in with very severe lower back pain. After the first visit I was feeling much better. Before going in, I was struggling to even sleep in my own bed; I had to sleep sitting up. Before getting my back adjusted by Dr. Rickert at Prior Lake Spine, I was experiencing pain and stiffness in my lower back. I was really nervous at first, since I had never been to a Chiropractor before, but Dr. Rickert was very gentle and patient. I had an excellent experience working with Dr. Rickert. In preperation for an Ironman I had a minor hip flexor issue. Dr. Rickert suggested Active Release Technique (ART). We did a couple of sessions a week for about three weeks leading up to the event. Using ART allowed me to continue to run and train. In addition to ART he also did standard adjustments to make sure I was aligned and ready to go. Dr. Rickert is very knowledgeable and thourogh. His goal is to get you healed and on your way.
