I've been trying to find the right place to go for massages and I just found it. I loved everything about my experience at Bodyworks. The entire place smells amazing, the atmosphere is very calming, and the temperature was just right. Niky is a newer therapist but she gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I went in with a stiff neck and knots in my shoulders, and I left feeling like I'd never been in discomfort. I'm very excited to go back and very happy with my decision to come here.

I want to give this place a higher rating, because Debra did a great job on the massage, but I can't because of everything else. For starters, I made an appointment, the person taking my call asked what carrier my cell phone was. I asked "you aren't going to spam me with texts, right?" And she said "No, it's just for appointment reminders." Fast forward, literally 2 nights before the appointment, I started coming down with a horrible cold. Called first thing the very next morning to reschedule, only to get belittled by a Latin-sounding woman who took my call, claiming I can't cancel because they have a 48 hour cancellation policy. So they are a self-proclaimed "healing center" that doesn't understand how a cold/flu works? Great to know. After some bickering back and forth, I finally convinced her I was going to reschedule, that I WANTED the massage. The massage came finally, and I quite enjoyed it. Debra was great, knew how to work the muscles, and did a great job. A few days later, Christmas Eve, I get a text thanking me for my visit and asking to rate them. Now Christmas Day I get another text telling me they have special offers and future openings available. So much for that no spam policy. So the lesson learned is, make sure you don't get sick if you book an appointment with them. And make sure you DON'T give them your phone number.

Excellent massage with Pat. Had 60 min. deep tissue massage and feel great. She is very knowledgeable about her craft and will help with knots and stiffness. Highly recommend.

Bodyworks is a unique place. Located in the old town part of Plymouth, the building is an old Queen Anne style house converted into commercial space so it has the charm and feel of an old house. The owner and proprietress of this wonderful business is Pat and she has a way about her. She isn't just a massage therapist but she is a healer as well. With her hands and experience can read the human body like a map; she can identify areas of mental and physical tension and how that is effecting other areas of the body. I've been seeing her off and on for 6 or so years and she has been tremendous. In addition to massage therapy, they have personnel who are capable of a variety of techniques including aroma therapy and scalp massage. No matter what type of session you have you will find everything you do for the rest of that day seems more calm, slow, and clear. Pat runs a tight ship with all of her therapists real experts in their particular specialties. You will not be sorry when you go. I look forward to my return.
