My sister-in-law sent me to Body Wisdom as a gift, and I benefitted so greatly that I have returned many times. The atmosphere is wonderfully calm and relaxing, and Amber’s work is truly therapeutic to both body and spirit. It is an excellent value as well. I live in Ann Arbor but it’s worth the trip into Dexter.

Wife bought a gift certificate for Christmas. Made an appointment. I had a work function run over and forgot to call and reschedule. Page I believe her name is calls and complains to me over the phone that they have 24 hour cancelation policy, i say that’s fine and she respond with you have a gift certificate correct. I respond with yes. She then tells me it is no longer good. My thoughts is what ever and hang up fine keep the money. She calls back very agitated, i say don’t call me again and have your boss take me off your call list. Her Boss becka calls the next day and says you did not hear her fully. I respond with yes I did and nothing was said about a $25 cancelation charge she Page literally said that i can no longer honor your gift certificate. Very nonprofessional business tried to set up my employees with two chairs for 2-3 hours. I am not sure who the boss is she called me, I stated what i was looking for while the whole time kids screaming in the background. I finally just agreed with whatever she said about calling me back when she found to therapist that could come out. Their loss. There are many other Massage therapist places around and I would highly recommend looking at others.

My whole family enjoys going to body wisdom. My wife has had massages for both of her pregnancies. My mom called me today to make an appointment. I gave her the number to call. Their staff is friendly and great at what they do. The rooms are private, calming and serve anybody type. I enjoy Melinda's knowledge of the body and her continuing education into her field. As for their cancellation policies, please be aware they are a small business and lose time & money if you don't show up for your appointment. How else are they suppose to get you relaxed and schedule the next appointment : D
