I was a member of Elements Massage for the past few months. Good things: 1. Great massages by great practitioners 2. Very affordable Reason why I am giving a 1 star and I cancelled my membership: I, for some reason, didn't have any email about my last scheduled appointment and I didn't receive a call reminding me of this appointment--which they had done in the past. These things that aren't mandatory but, I had gotten used to. Today, I get a call asking if I was coming in. I admit that I made a mistake and was wondering if I could use *my* pre-paid session as opposed to the 35 dollar cancellation fee. I was told that was not an option. So my monthly membership of ~70 dollars would then add a 35 dollar fee. As a result, I was not going to cancel. I had a choice pay 35 dollars for a lost session or go to a massage session. As silly as this sounds, being forced to have a massage is not very relaxing. It's simply ridiculous that I *had* to get a massage or having to pay 35 dollars. Summary: If you make every appointment and they give you the complimentary texts/emails - 5 stars If you make every appointment and they don't send you the reminders -3 stars If you are forced to have a massage or pay 35 dollars (i.e. not being able to use *your* already paid for session) - 1 star

Just had my first massage ever there, the staff was very welcoming and friendly , the massage was very relaxing, and I will definitely go back next time I need one!

Studio was clean and receptionists were friendly and helpful. My massage therapist was excellent. He let me know when our session would end and checked in with me on his pressure several times. He found some knots I didn't even know were there. I left my massage feeling great! Best thing I ever could have done for myself!

I like that there are really convenient appointment hours (I am a nurse and work varying shifts) and that I can always book with Angel-Marie who is my favorite therapist. Best massage I've ever gotten! I love how she remembers month to month what I like, and that the massage feels very comfortable and extremely relaxing. She always allows me to give feedback and really personalizes the massage to my specific liking. Everyone who works at this Elements location is so nice and professional. It's a very warm and welcoming environment which makes the whole experience very relaxing. I love being a member there.

To start, everyone you meet or speak to on the phone is very kind and caring. They always do their best to get me and appointment that works for me with my preferred therapist and the scheduling is super flexible. I could walk in THAT DAY and say I want hot stone instead of deep tissue and it's done. There are always ways to save money or upgrade your massage-- as a member I LOVE that my massages roll over to the next month because life gets hectic and I have to reschedule often, so I never lose any, if anything I get 2 a month or I share with a friend!My therapist is AMAZING. The receptionist did an excellent job pairing us in the first place just by a short conversation on the phone and he has been consistent, professional and in tune with my body's needs ever since. I am an athlete, so I get a deep tissue massage every time I go & he always makes sure I am comfortable, the pressure is just right and that he is getting to all my particularly sore spots that week. Invest in your health, it pays off! :)

This place is amazing! Great front desk staff, great Managment, great Therapist! I had Chris and it was the best massage I had ever had. In addition he spent time with me after talking about what he worked on and why. Then he showed me a couple exercises I could do in-between my appointments. This is immense value add! I came right out and signed up for a membership. Robert at the front desk was fun to work with for this part of my visit! Also got a chance to chat with Jean and she really fosters a great environment there! Can't wait to go back!

I booked a 90 minute massage a week ago, and the therapist had a "family emergency," on Friday before New Year's Eve. They cancelled via text one hour before my appointment. Very convenient. They tried to reschedule a 60 minute massage and I explained that I had a gift card for 90 minutes they told me I needed to pay in cash. Very disappointed with the effort made by the staff, and they weren't apologetic whatsoever.

Elements massage in SHREWSBURY IS A PISS POOR LOCATION... HORRIBLE MANAGER NAMED JENN WILL NOT HELP YOU AT ALL... can not wait to contact THE CORPORATE MANAGER... only good person there is my awesome therapist named Leo he is the ONLY REASON IM STILL GOING... won't be for much longer though there are a lot of other massage places around... There are so many therapists with so many different strengths that you can find someone for exactly what you are looking for. Personally, Laura is perfect in her approach to my well being but my daughter adores Ada. Elements has dramatically reduced the stress ball that likes to reside in my shoulder and gives my daughter release from her migraines. We love it and look forward to every single visit.

He is highly skilled and knowledgeable, he takes the time to ensure that he understands what my needs are, he customizes the massage to work on my problem areas and he has a very calming energy. My 90 minute sessions with Dan are my favorite way to take care of me!

I've been a member for over two years at this location and have always had fantastic service. The front desk staff is very helpful, it's easy to book an appointment at the time I prefer and the space is clean and inviting. Laura, the massage therapist I see, is a miracle worker. Terrible service, I booked an appt. in March for May, got the confirmation card and everything, and they told me it wasn't on the schedule. They weren't offering me anything for the major inconvenience, just said I could re-schedule but the evening slot would be a month or so out. Meanwhile, had I tried to cancel/reschedule with less than 24h notice they charge $35, and full price if you miss an appt. entirely. Where's the commitment on their side? They are incredibly slow to reply to emails, you need to call repeatedly or go in person to get anything accomplished. Their prices aren't great, and they don't make it easy to get out of the membership. I won't be going back to any Elements locations.

As an athlete I needed a high-quality sports massage to remove knots, relax some troubled muscles, all in hopes of seeing an increase range of motion. Steffanie was assigned to me. She did a fantastic job, her knowledge of the muscular system allow her to understand exactly what needed to be addressed, and she was able to apply the appropriate level of pressure to work through the trouble spots. I would highly recommend Stephanie for any athlete seeking a massage to either deal with injury or improve performance.
